Fogo de Chao - Plano
My Sister and Brother-in-law were celebrating their 4th Wedding Anniversary. It was his first experience and it AMAZING! Stephanie provided extraordinary customer service as well as the manager stopped by to inquire about the service. The food was scrumptious!
Birthday dinner and food was amazing they were great with our kiddos as well
4th time at this location. Was not impressed.. The service team and management seem to neglect the patrons in the corner of the room. We ordered a bottle of wine a didn't receive it until 15 minute later. I also did not nearly have as many cuts of meat come around to me and i made sure my card was always on green. I'm assuming the lack of service was probably because we were in the corner of the restaurant.
Seafood tower is listed as an appetizer, but it can be a meal by itself! Everything was perfect, not to mention free valet parking. 👍🏻
We went for my Son’s 16th Birthday. They had a blast. Little expensive but worth every penny.
This is third bad experience my wife have had at this location. It took 15 minutes for us to receive the wine we had ordered. Note, it was a Sunday evening and they were not busy. Our waiter did not bring us a plate for the main dinner; one of the gentlemen serving the meats actually brought us plates and our sides. The meats were sub par. There was hardly any seasoning to thwm and tasted very bland. I ordered coffee with my dessert, but the coffee never showed up. It seems this location is full of trainees instead of experienced waitstaff. We will not be visiting this location again.
No complaints with the food. Both the meats and market bar were excellent. Added bonus given that it was early Sunday afternoon; the market bar had waffles and an omelette station.
Service was lacking. Our waiter disappeared after taking our order. One of the few times he did reappear, I asked for an additional drink which he never brought. When we were done with our main meal, waited for him to ask if we were done or wanted dessert but he never came. We eventually stopped another waiter to get our check.
One other weird note. We were there for a special occasion (birthday), which I mentioned when asked while making the reservation. Nothing noting the special occasion happened while we were there.
The service could have been better. Also: for $52 a person I could go to a steakhouse and get a better meal
Service was great. Our server was awesome and the food was very good too. I didn’t like that I had to wait and extra 30 minutes even though I had a reservation, but that was the only negative
Had a reservation at 7:45pm. Arrived at 7:45. Then had to wait an additional 45 minutes to be seated. At an ordinary place I’d say waiting after a reservation is acceptable, but at a high end establishment I except a lot better accommodation to those who have a reservation than those who don’t. Unacceptable and embarrassing to my guests.
The food was good as usual but I was disappointed with our time here. We made reservations with a note that it was our anniversary. We do this every year at a different upscale restaurant and this is the first in 9 that didn't even acknowledge our anniversary. Plus the service was not great, my husband had to hunt someone down twice and we waited 15 min just to get a receipt and only saw our head server one time. They tried to seat us at bar table that was a little bigger than a frisbee initially, before showing us to a normal table-for-two when we turned the first down. I expected more for what you pay to eat here. Will go back to the "other" Brazilian steak house next time.
Great food , drinks and ambiance. The issue was that the service was very slow. It was super crowded and the staff was working hard but still very slow.
Waiter didn’t check on us for cocktail refills, we probably would have drank more but the waiter was mia, atmosphere was great.
It took 15 minutes for the appetizer, served after the meat service started. The drinks came very late as well and the fun was really when the potatoes came after everyone was thru eating. I do not think I would go back or recommend it to anyone.
I Like, Very nice! I am a college student so it was a bit out of my price range but my GF and I were celebrating our 4 year anniversary so I thought it would be worth it. Definitely had some great sex after. Thanks FOGO
Very good value for lunch. Great selection and service was outstanding as usual.
It was good, I would go again
I bring my sister and wife for dinner and we pay for Full price and when we ask for the beef we want the never come to our table we make a reservation at 8 o’clock my table was not ready they give me a table close to the door and we don’t like the table we ask to move and the take time to gives a table we bring a child and we don’t have to much time to wait for the beef they know we waiting for the beef and never come till the time we ask for the check I’m very disappointed with this location
I made a reservation online and specifically asked for 39$ special I didn't receive it, I had 2 birthdays I asked for the waiter to bring them a piece of cake never got it, our drinks were always taking too long to be refilled, it was my first time at Plano personally like addison better.
Not my first trip to a Fogo de Chao but will be my last, especially at this location. Keep in mind that if you go after 2p - its dinner pricing which is unfortunate for us having gotten there are 2:15p. Trust me the food or service didn't get dinner pricing better at 2:15pm which just added to the bad experience for our 35th anniversary meal. This location is right next door to the corporate HQ so you would think they'd want it to be stellar. Its beautiful inside with a gorgeous wine display and bar. The decor is also very modern and beautiful. But for me, that is where it ended. I guess since we said we'd been there before that meant the waitress's job was done. We got no direction so finally just got up and helped ourselves. The salad bar was awful looking and honestly, tasting. Some specifics: bowl of arugala was dry and wilted; the tomatoes for every dish were over ripe, old looking or otherwise unappealing ( doesn't make for a nice capresi dish). They had a big display of the tomotoes and you could tell they'd seen better days and explained why the dishes that used them were sub par. The chicken salad had a runny dressing and tough meat. There were at least 3 eggplant dishes which is not necessary and not that good. The cheeses looked dry and unappealing. The roasted artichokes were dried out. I could go on and on with my disappointment. Maybe this was a 'shift change' issue but there is no excuse for that especially because we paid dinner prices at 2:15. You should be on that food at all times. Now, the meat, the 2nd reason I go to a Brazilian steak house. All the beef tasted funky - the filet was too raw, the garlic picanha was very fatty and tasted funny as did the pork ribs. The best meat items were the parm crusted pork and the bacon wrapped chicken. The bacon wrapped steak also had a funny flavor. The meat servers were pretty good once they got started but the table servers were hardly ever around. Sides were subpar.
We celebrated our annual New Years dinner and it was wonderful. The service is so attentive and made us feel so pampered which was wonderful.
The filet was as tender as butter and absolutely my favorite.
This location has really got it together. Food, service, atmosphere, all of it.
Our server was outstanding and the food was fantastic! This is the first time we had been to the Plano location and the facility is gorgeous.
No complaints! It was my first time and i would go back.
Love the new look and booths. Service was great as usual. Daniel gave his all and Roy makes great drink.
Had a wonderful dinner. Our waitress, Iris, and the rest of the wait staff were attentive and kind. Food was delicious. Come hungry.
Great service on a busy New Years Eve night. Great food and awesome evening. Love this place!
New Years dinner with family
The dinner was great until we finished with the main course. No one returned to us to offer dessert or to give us a check. We sat for over 30 minutes with no acknowledgment. We had to seek out our server TWICE to request our check. We paid for the Holiday Meal and I am still not sure if that included dessert OR what this restaurant offers for dessert. That makes me sad because we were celebrating my daughters 15th birthday. I just felt like we were part of the masses and there was NO personalized attention.
It was New Years Eve and the restaurant was very busy. Seemed like the table side service was a little slow but understandable based on how busy it was. As always, the food was wonderful and we had a nice time!
Great cocktails, great food, great service !!!
Our dinner was amazing, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to make you happy. The food was amazing, picanha was the best cut, and the side dishes are very tasteful. Salad area had plenty of options, looked very fresh and colorful. Managers came by to say hello. Great drinks. Overall amazing experience. Will be back.
Service was very bad. It was a corporate dinner and restaurant wasn't even busy but I felt they tried their best but something was wrong on the back-end kitchen or something but we had to wait "alot" on getting the meat cuts. At one time it was pretty embarrassing too.
I requested Lamb cut and it took them around 45 minutes to get it. The other person requested Minon cut and it never came by. Somebody stopped by the table, may be she was a manager and asked us how was our server doing and then said "he has just joined that's why i wanted some feedback". I could see that our server could definitely use some training but overall i really felt the money i paid for, was the experience which is based on the service and it was horrible.
On average, we had to wait atleast 10-12 mins before they would bring in a specific cut of meat. I have been to other steak houses, even Fogo in Baltimore and service was on point, i really feel they need to be training on how to balance the tables with meats. Waiting 10mins for every piece of cut was just not acceptable for me, specially when you bring your corporate clients. Definitely not choosing Fogo in future.
Been to this location multiple times. Daniel is always there and makes us feel welcome. The service food and caipirinhas are always top notch. Highly recommend this Fogo location!
The food was ok but not great. We kept asking for meat a little more cooked. So getting food was a bit of a challenge. They sat a big party next to us that was a bit loud.
The staff was very attentive and knew exactly what they were serving. Will definitely come back to this location. Loved the experience!
It was a great get-together with friends as always during the holidays. The meats weren't coming out as frequently as we had like to see and the server was overbooked but keeping with the holiday spirit still giving them a 5 star
Everything was excellent. We anticipated a wait as it was Christmas but we were seated within 10 minutes of arrival. All of the meats were delicious and cooked perfectly. The salad bar was clean, kept up regularly, and had a great selection. We plan to return soon.
We didn’t have a table cloth and everyone else did. Our soup was cold. Some cuts of meat were good but others were too salty! Our coffee got cold waiting for our cream and our choice of wine was not available. I’d like to express my concerns to the manager. Thank you
Very nice Christmas treat. Wonderful service and, as always, the food is outstanding. Bring you A+ appetite.
