Great! Will be back! pork rib was my favorite with the lemon zest!
Did t nobody come around to the table
Our team should be continuously walking around to serve our guests, so it's disappointing to hear no one came around. When you are ready, please visit us again.
so expensive poor service mediocre food
We hope you decide to visit us in the future, as we would love the chance to earn your complete satisfaction. Thank you for your feedback.
Great dinning experience. Very pricey!
Thank you so much for this feedback! Your kind words and feedback are so greatly appreciated. Hoping to serve you again soon!
I was celebrating my birthday plus I brought along a friend who hadn’t eaten here before. The visit was excellent as usual. Although there are other restaurants, one even here in Jersey, I prefer Fogo.
We went to Fogo with two other couples. We had the best night out!! Our server, Imani, was just simply amazing!! Mike was on point with the bar cart and the rest of the staff was delightfully friendly. We will definitely be back soon!
The food and service was amazing! Management was very accommodating and kind. Staff was helpful and quick to take your dishes away. Ambiance was wonderful.
My mom thoroughly enjoyed her birthday dinner. The service was impeccable and the food matched! I will be back soon!
Date night with my husband
The service we received from our waitress Jennifer was wonderful! We enjoyed the meal itself, I just wish that when the servers come out that they actually have a travel routine from table to table because we got skipped several times by a server who served the tables around us all the while leaving our table out. The amount of people in the restaurant definitely made it feel crowded even with all of the space the restaurant has. We dined on Valentines Day and while it was lovely, I would recommend you dine here when it isn't a major holiday.
Valentine’s Day
It was a first time experience... overall 7/10 pricing is very reasonable
When seated, our waitress was very kind, she went over the menu options since neither my fiancé or myself had eaten at the restaurant before. She told us her favorite menu items and recommended things to try. She then placed a bowl of pão de queijo that contained 4 pieces. As I pick up my last one i noticed it was a bit bigger in size then the other 3 and had an aroma of lemon. I thought to myself maybe this one is a different kind and maybe it has some lemon zest inside. Well i take a bite and I bite into a WHOLE LEMON PEEL. I called the waitress over and asked if it was normal. (I didn’t know I’ve never eaten there before) she said it wasn’t normal and she was so sorry. I reassured her it was fine and that I understand it happens sometimes. Well from there it went down hill. She took our drink orders and we went up to the salad bar. Once we sat down it felt like forever before anyone came around with meat. I am a hospitality major and I pick up on things quickly... there was a man, he must have been supervising the runners and his manager who must have been the GM had to continuously speak to him at least 3 times about making sure he was doing his job as a supervisor and making sure his section of the floor was doing what it was supposed to do. Sure enough, 4 of the gentleman holding the meat SKIPS our table. So we didn’t get served meat most of the meal. At that point I was aggravated and ready to go. The sweet waitress from the beginning came back asked if we would like dessert. I told her no thank you and that I was ready for the bill. She leaves and proceeded to go to the table diagonally across from us, talks to them about non work related topics, for at least 10 mins they ask for their check and get it before us. We waited for over 25 mins for the check. Finally she brings the check and I ask for the manager. The manager was very nice, she apologized gave us 2 free desserts and 2 $25 gift cards that expire May 6th. Over all not a good experience.
We apologize for such an experience, as our guests should always be attended to and never skipped. We hope you choose to dine with us in the future, as we know we can do better than this.
There was zero social distancing. It was crowed. The servers never came over with meat. We had to call them from a far.
Your health and safety is our priority during these uncertain times, so it's concerning to hear of your visit. We hope you award us another chance to earn your satisfaction in the future.
Our waiter Kyan was phenomenal! He made this experience a five star for sure. The kindness professionalism and always aiding to our every need mad this by far the most wonderful covid restaurant encounter thus far.
I love the idea of the restaurant but everything was bland in flavor to me. I didn’t like the seating and people were constantly hovering over our table due to the location. I do not feel like what we paid for was worth it. Will not be returning!
We always want to be worth your visit, so we're sorry we fell short. We hope to welcome you soon, as we know we can earn your 5-stars.
Food overall was solid. I'll take this over Chima most days. They had more selection and appetizers were decent. The service was a little rough around the edges but understandable in the pandemic.
John, thank you for understanding some of our difficulties during these times. We appreciate you and we hope to earn your 5-stars in the future.
Valentines Day 2/14:
First timer and was not impressed with the food for the amount of money we paid. The various meats didn’t have any flavor it was very bland. One of The steaks they were carving was very salty. I wasn’t happy at all. The servers were professional and the ambiance was fair but this will be my first and last time at Fogo de Chao.
We always want our guests to be impressed with their meal, so it's disappointing to hear we fell short. It is our hope that you visit us down the line, as we can assure you we can do better.
Great food and even better service
good service although it seems that the meat service slowed down about half way thru. Also it was a little hard to hear our waitress thru her mask and face shield but that's inevitable considering safety precautions. Would recommend.
Great food
Mom and Daughter Day
My 29th Wedding Anniversary
The service was wonderful.
The experience was great! It was my first time attending there. Everything was spot on from the food down to the customer service from the employees! A nice classy yet elegant environment! I highly recommend this place! Especially for a casual date night!
Very nice and relaxing environment!
Weird spot for a first date. Constantly interrupted by wait staff.
We're sorry to hear you didn't appreciate this about your experience, as we always want to ensure you have everything you need. We'd love the chance to earn your 5-stars in the future, so please return when you're willing.
A lot of misleading pricing regarding the drinks. I ordered the Fogo experience where they are suppose to bring you different kids of meat multiple times. The fist go around we were served maybe 7 kinds of meat. Mind you it’s just a slice. Then after the first go around they only offered 1 kind of meat and they just kept trying offer that 1 meat. I ask the waiter when other kinds like the lamb or pineapple chicken also pork was going to be served but it said he would check and that was the end of that. My first experience was horrible and I won’t return.
We love the variety of cuts we offer, Janaeia, so it's disappointing to hear that you weren't able to try them all. Please don't allow this to keep you away, as we are sure we can deliver a better experience.
I always enjoy Fogo! It’s the only place I can honestly say “I left full”. It’s such a nice time, my only suggestion is that they consider playing better music. Even a nice mix of Brazilian/ Caribbean music would make this a much better vibe. Not loud but a quiet mix would be so enjoyable
Making a reservation was easy enough and we were seated promptly upon arriving for dinner. We opted for the churrasco experience. Salad bar was a little lack luster for me, but the vast array of grilled meats made up for that. There were many different kinds of protein available, with my only complaint being that I wasn’t given even 5 minutes to eat my salad before the servers started coming by with the grilled meats. And I mean it was one after another continuously, with little to no break in between. While this kept your plate full, it also made it difficult to enjoy what you already had on your plate. Overall everything was delicious and I would definitely come again for a special occasion dinner.
Arsine the manager was outstanding. I have been to
Many Fogo’s and this one was incredible. The building was amazing and the service was top notch.
It was not the pre-covid Fogo experience I was so in love with. The salad bar was awesome. The service wasn't the same. The food wasn't the same. It was good but not what I remember.
Not Corona safe
This is concerning to hear, as we take our safety protocols very seriously during these times. We hope you choose to visit us in the future.
We took my daughter for her 16th Birthday, She loved it!! Everything was amazing. The food is delicious.
Chef Michael made the experience even better. All the workers were very friendly.
Everything was great
Always a nice night out with friends.
