Andre made our experience so incredibly positive. On a cold Tuesday, it was quiet in there. Loved the casual atmosphere too. We were dressed up for a show but I could totally go here in a t-shirt and jeans. Both styles work at Flannel. I had French Toast, a Bloody Mary and Iced Coffee. All of which were delicious. My GF did a Hot Chicken Sandwich with a Strawberry Wheat beer. She enjoyed those as well!
The neighborhood was really enjoyable to walk around before and after. Several other establishments if you want to try some different vibes during your night out!
Great food, the service was incredible!!! Drinks were awesome as well.
Fantastic chicken and service! The only disappointment was the beer pour - we were expecting a pint for the price but only got 8 ounces.
Our waitress was amazing, but the food not so much. My husband had the Korean shrimp with grits, and he said the sauce tasted like bottled barbecue sauce. I had the Nashville Chicken sandwich, and Popeye’s is way better. We overheard staff saying that they were out of brisket, and this was 6 o’clock on a Saturday night! They were also out of the lager that was ordered. I loved the waitress and ambiance, so I may give them another try. Maybe they are still getting their feet wet.
Always incredible quality with food
Four of us were there for dinner last night. We went to Flannel because they required proof of vaccination in order to eat inside, which we all appreciated. The one downside was the loud volume from the musician. The music was fine, but the volume was very loud for the small restaurant. I would recommend that they have the musicians lower their volume so that it is easier to have conversation while dining.
Terrific food and service. Ate outside which was lovely. Really appreciate the indoor vaccine requirement. Will be back. Wish they had collard greens!!
A birthday dinner. First time there. Live rock country duo was the icing on the cake. Pecan encrusted catfish out of this world. cornbread was like an out of body experience. server j. was très magnifique. the burger with whatever special comeback sauce they use is super tasty and the bun was another delicious meal in itself. cant wait to take friends and go back. oh did i mention really reasonable prices.
Best brunch in the City.
Overall, I would go back to eat at Flannel, what I ate, was amazing, probably the best wings I have had in a long time and the grits were amazing as were the fries. The only issue I had, was many items on the menu were not available - I know right now it is very hard for places to know what to have on hand, but even some of the drinks were not available. Other than that minor issue - I would go back to eat their food!
They require vaccine cards to sit indoor. Service is not the best, but food was delicious!
I love the sever the food was wonderful 10 out a 10
Delish! Friendly service, live music, great ambiance.
Service was great, they had live music which was a nice surprise ! Food was delicious. Large portions.
Amazing food and excellent service. The live music was the perfect volume and added to the ambience. We’ll definitely be back!
It was our first time dining at Flannel- and we will definitely go back. The food, service, and live music were great!
This is a solid neighborhood restaurant. The theme appears to be “southern“ . Music was more on the Cajun side and was pretty jazzy, but really good.
The style of the place is rustic and simple. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We got ribs and the Nashville chicken sandwich, both of them were delicious, my favorite though was the strawberry collard greens. we will be back!
wanted to like it, but unappetizing. won't return.
Luv this place!! one of my favs spots in south philly, food is great!!
I have the shrimp and grits and eat every last bite. It was creamy and flavorful. My husband had the fried chicken and had a smile on his face ear to ear. Last we followed it up with deep-fried oreo. I always leave a restaurant with a dog bag, but there was no resisting eating every bite. I can wait to go back for brunch.
The poutine was tasty. My son and I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, which we both enjoyed very much. He loved the fries so much, he took home the leftover ones. My wife had the chicken and waffles, which she always wanted to try, and really enjoyed it.
The service was excellent. Staff were attentive and friendly.
The food, live music and ambiance was great as was the service. We always enjoy dining at Flannel. Although we dine there regularly, they hosted QOTA for this visit, a local neighborhood group, and we enjoyed visiting with the owner/manager and the staff were so nice and attentive as always. And the Bloody Butcher Bourbon was excellent.
Good food. Nice atmosphere. Live music. No fuss kind of place. Will definitely come back for brunch or a causal & affordable dinner out.
The food was great and the service was fast ans nice. Unfortunately, the margaritas were really not that good..
Unfortunately our drinks and food came all at once. That was not a good sign. Burger was undercooked, fried chicken was dry. Came with waffles but no syrup. Mac and cheese was ok. Waiter didn’t care and just wanted us out our seats ASAP. Had high hopes for this spot. Extremely disappointed.
First time at Flannel was a grey experience. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly. My only downside is some of the decor looked a bit cheap/gaudy to me but that doesn't take away from a nice dinner.
The food was excellent. We loved the fried chicken and sides and the Mac n Cheese was great too.
Fun place to go. good food. good service good prices
Excellent food, service and staff. Highly recommended!
Great job with Covid protocols. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We had a burger and chicken, both meals were delicious.
Friendly, casual dining, a nice spot for comfort food in a relaxed atmosphere.
Flannel was excellent and the chef personally greeted us and asked if we enjoyed our experience. The service was excellent as well.
Great experience. Great employees. Great food. Not too much else needs to be said
We had a great experience. The food was amazing and our server was very nice. It was reasonably priced and in a nice location.
Went for Restaurant week and from the portions to the actual food I was impressed and will be back
My fiancé and I have been going to Flannel since they opened in our neighborhood and we have NEVER had a bad meal there! Most recently, we stopped in for East Passyunk Avenue Restaurant Week and we both decided it was our favorite Flannel meal to date. Pulled pork is one of my go-to comfort food dishes and Flannel's "Pig in a Blanket" sandwich is one of the best I've ever had. Service is always friendly and efficient and their outdoor tent and heaters allow diners to enjoy a meal out while adhering to COVID-related guidelines. We'll be back soon!
Amazing food, loved that the chef checked in with all the tables
We loved our dining experience here! The food was fantastic and the servers were awesome. Would definitely come back soon!
