Fix Restaurant and Wine Bar

Had a work Christmas party - great service, wide menu and really good food - loved the duck.

They maintained they were under new management that day and the name was changed.
Consequently they refused to honour the Entertainment Card discount. Not impressed at all.
Booking, signage and bill all said FIX. Used to be good. Don't bother any more now.

Too salty the swordfish
Salt and pepper squid was like 3 pieces, shocking for the price charged!
Only the oysters was good

We shared a spectacular steak, and my husband loved the oysters (on special for AUD$1 each throughout July). Rounded out the meal with a strange-sounding but delicious broccolini/green bean/goat cheese side. Among the best meals we've had in several weeks of traveling around Australia, and definitely the best deal (though not cheap).

FIX Restaurant was chosen after reading several good reviews. Whilst the meal itself was lovely, sadly I can't say the same for the service. Wine and menu choices were unavailable. Our waitress seemed amused by this and then surprised us further when she advised she gets mixed up between medium well and medium rare. Our meals arrived with a literal bang on the table. This was a business dinner and I was embarrassed because of the service. I won't be returning.

Good pub food with reasonable prices and comprehensive mid range wine list and extensive drinks range. Steak specialty

My wife & I dined there last night. The food was exceptional & the service was first class.
I had the Moreton bug & Garlic Prawn pasta & my wife had the fish of the day both meals were exceptional

My partner & I came here for our 9 year anniversary. We choose this restaurant, as we are Citibank dining customers & got a free bottle of wine with our meal. Wine was lovely! We both had steak & they were both delicious. Our waitress was also absolutely lovely & so all in all would recommend.

My US guests had special drink requests. The waitress made special effort to deliver- Exceptional service!Compliments to the chef on the Barramundi. This was recommended previously by a work colleague and did not disappoint.

We loved the Fix Restaurant, a very nice place to go for dinner. There are a lot of good dishes as entrées, and a few good main platers too. This is a very nice place to eat steaks, and desserts are... yummy!!

From entering the venue to departing, the staff were fantastic, and the service was superb! The quality of food was excellent. This was our(my wife and I) third visit and there will be many more, just wished we lived closer as this would be a regular haunt!!!

This is a return visit to Fix Restaurant. We have never had a bad meal. Food is exquisite, something to all tastes. We will be back!

A delicious dinner, the only thing spoiling it was the smell of smoke from the outside tables.

Convenience with suitable menu for our tastes

I dined here recently for a reunion with some colleagues and everyone enjoyed their meals immensely. It was reasonably priced and a great selection of choices. We liked the ambiance of the place and that is was quiet and the bar area was in a separate location meaning we could hear ourselves talk. Our waiter Lucien was simply fantastic, attentive but not over the top, a great sense of humour and nothing was too much trouble. He made our evening very special with exceptional service.

Whilts a quiet time of the week (Tuesday Lunch) it was appreciated for the chat to my colleague.Food was great ( we both had steaks) and cooked just as we requested - but would have rated service higher ( not waiters fault) but felt we waited a little too long for the meals to arrive.Other than thant a pleasant lunch spot

Fix Bar and Restaurant has always been a favourite dining place for my friends, work colleagues and I. The food is always great and never disappoints. When deals come up it is hard not to buy them to allow you to go back and dine as much as possible.

Lovely dinner fairly traditional menu steals , some pastas and a couple of other meat dishes .i enjoyed my pork belly and my husband steak and chips were delicious. Both choc desserts that we orders we also great . Good service all round lovey evening
