Five Regions Restaurant brings South Australia’s most iconic wine regions to the heart of the city, to be experienced alongside stunning regional produce.

Our culinary team collaborates with a new winery every eight weeks, creating a seasonal menu that showcases each winery’s region and pairs perfectly with hand-selected wines.

We were comparing our experience to the previous Hill of Grace restaurant. For example, the service then (HoG) was seamless and not really noticeable ie. wait staff just seemed to appear when they were needed. The food at 5 Regions was good but not exceptional. Even though the new restaurant had only been open for a day, the red wine we ordered from the wine list was not available.
The most disappointing thing was that, when booking on-line, it was not totally clear that the only menu available was a 5 course degustation menu. In fact I remember reading that the menu listed (on-line) was a sample menu.
We will probably give the restaurant another go, but feel we would probably achieve much better value from Bespoke, next door, with the same view.

From the view to the food, every thing was perfect. The staffs knowledge of the food they were presenting was exceptional and the head Chiefs person visit to the tables enabled us to see the passion from which he cooks. Would highly recommend

I have dined here on a number of occasions and each time was special. Innovative Filipino fusion menu, exceptional quality and attecntion to detail.Staff were friendly and knowledgeable with the menu. I had to ask what a few items were and was given simple explanation of complex ingredients.

Thank you to all the staff at The Hill of Grace for making our night one to remember. My partner and I were celebrating his birthday, everyone went out of their way to wish him a happy birthday, thank you for making both of us feel so special! the personalised touches make all the difference. Not to mention the food! The food was absolutely delicious, such unique flavours that were perfectly complemented by the matching wine. We were spoilt by the view as well. The most perfect night out!

We celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary at The Hill of Grace. We selected the 8 course degustation, which was a great experience. We enjoyed trying new flavours and the quality was second to none. The service was faultless and the ambiance/view was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Who would of thought Filipino food could be version of "rags to riches".Although for me it was a HIT & MISS. Food itself is average. Some of the dishes oozes out "trying to hard to look fancy." Smoked rainbow trout, effect of it being smoky when opening dish,great effect!But completely lost all other tastes in the dish,barely eatable.Smokey taste was overpowering. Desert Tres leche cake with calamansi a dish to also stay away from.To sour and bitter 2nd dish couldn't eat.

Our waiters had exceptional knowledge of the wines being served. We had eight mostly delicious degustation courses with amazing matching wines,each around a standard glass, over a four hour time frame so we were definitely not fit to drive afterwards! The highlight was the beef fillet matched with the Hill of Grace shiraz. We were less impressed with the strongly flavoured Betamax or the very rich chocolate dessert to finish up , but the total experience for my friend's 50th was one to remember.

The location, service and food was exceptional. The wine list was very extensive but may be out of the price range for some diners. All of the service staff were very knowledgeable about the food, wine and links to the Adelaide Oval and were happy to share this knowledge. We were made to feel very welcome and were able to relate to the food and the wine journey.

My wife and I had the best dining experience that either of us had ever had. Head Chef Dennis Leslie and his staff provided us with a fine dining memory that will last forever. I highly recommend that people experience this restaurant at least once. The food and service is second to none.

Disappointed that the setting was bistro like for a fine dining restaurant. I was told that I would have a window table but was placed on a bench seat? Not what I would expect for a $300 per head restaurant. But the food and service was exceptional.

Food and service were amazing. View was excellent. Atmosphere great, everyone would feel comfortable dining here. Wine list is good with a large range at varying prices. Value was great too - we dined off the a la carte menu and thought price was more than reasonable given the amount of food received. Only complaint was the tres leche cake... Was still nice but not as delicious as the other desserts on the menu. Would highly recommend to anyone.

It was a birthday celebration and the service was very slow to take our wine order and even slower bringing it to the table. Our waiter used his fingers to wipe the decanter each time he poured the wine. We were very shocked at this. We expected perfect service but sadly it didn't happen that way. I think you need more training for your staff. I doubt we would return.
