Great, loud, fun!!

Great Happy Hour and Service, but found the food pretty disappointing. Needs a bit more care and love put into it.

Second time here, unfortunately on this occasion 2 main dishes were a let down, we had the crusted lamb cutlets which were off. I would recommend that the restaurant manager talk to the chefs in question to report this incident. Other than that the venue is atmospheric and very friendly, it would be nice to have management redeem themselves with an offer given the result of the evening.....

I celebrated my birthday with tons of my friends. Fitzroy social is my favourite restaurant in Melbourne since I moved here 2 years ago. The decor is fabulous, the staff was fantastic on my birthday, the food is great and I love it! Was my first time staying that long though and was literally impossible to have a conversation after a little while. I am a dance teacher and Inlove dancing and music. I think the music got too loud too fast as my guests were loosing their voice over the diner. The rest was impeccable and the staff was very sweet for my birthday and looked happy to work. I did recommend this special place to tons of people.

The crowd and stuff were very young, and we were made to feel very welcome.

We had an amazing time, dinner, drinks and dancing.

We only left because the lights were turned on and the music was stopped.

Fantastic ambience and food, I highly recommend for social gatherings. I will definitely return again and again.....

We had a fantastic time at Fitzroy Social. We had a set menu and every dish that came out from entrees to mains, sides and dessert was delicious and unique. Fantastic beer and vibes as well! Would completely and utterly recommend.

Food was great, the service good.
Only issue was the terrible music selection by DJ. Very repetitive and not right vibe.

We were very happy with our meals, exceptional value for money and great night out! Highly recommend and we will be back.

We had a Saturday lunch .. the food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional.

Amazing!! Stop thinking about it and just do it!! Staff were friendly and food omg!! Delish!! Entres were amazing lamb cutlets were cooked to perfection and the Nutella caramel tart I can’t even! The only downside was my husbands steak was chewy! But for $59 I’m not complaining. I’m a bit eater and so is my husband and we had leftovers

We were waiting to be seated and a lady walked right past into the dining area and talked to the service guy and she got seated straight away.
I found that rude on her part unprofessional on the guys part.
We followed what the sign said and he served her first.
We ordered our food ;Chicken parma with Gravy and Honey Marinated Hamburger.
It took 1 hr for the food to come out. Way way too long.
We were starving.
My meat pattie was so dry but luckly it had flavour .
My friends Chicken Parma was basically a piece of Chicken Schnitzel drizzled with gravy and very basic not appealing looking colelaw.
It didn't look appetizing at all.
The vibe and music was awesome.

Outstanding service, great ambience and a creative delicious menu

Great, fun restaurant. Food was great and we loved the décor and the music. Only issue was that the tables were too close together so that no one could move around between the chairs.

Delicious food, attentive service and overall a great value restaurant. Staff to be commended in their diligence.

Staff gorgeous and apologetic. Long wait for food. Food was cold too many menus on the night. Ambiance okay, decor great tables crammed in to close to one another table and a seating arrangements not a good set up for the night, Like a heard of cattle waiting for the truck all tightly fitted in one spot
Over all happy with our menu and price, good variety, just a pitty on the wait and cold food.

It was our first time at Fitzroy Social and we were celebrating Valentine's day. We loved the decor and art work as well as the plants all along the ceiling. The service was fantastic and food was delicious! Highly recommended and we'll definitely be back for Happy Hour some good deals and drinks!

Good Glutenfree menu with choice. Enjoyed the food, but atmosphere most likely not aimed at my age group (over 50). Music slightly loud for conversation.

Great atmosphere and service. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly.

Great ambience and decor. Varied options on menu for everyone in our group including gluten free. Lunch special for $20 including drink is fantastic value

The only thing I can fault and that is probably a deal breaker for my friends and I is that the stench from the toilets was so overpowering and off putting. We were sitting close to the toilets and could keep on smelling the odour very much like a urinal soap bar not unlike a public toilet smell in the middle of the freeway. Once you entered the toilets the smell was so strong your eyes would water and it was engrained in your nose.

Only went here as it was a local bar that I had used about 4 years ago when last in Melbourne. Used to be Little Creatures, but had since changed. Was not as good and was quite empty. The food and beer that we had was ok, but not as good as I remembered.

There wasn’t many items on the menu for vegetarians or vegans, epecially for a restruant in Fitzroy.

The only reason I ate there was for the ambience and cocktails.

Fun place to go on a Fri/Sat night, nice large serves of wine (always makes me happy), cheap drinks during happy hour. Only thing was the food was pretty average but i did order the salad, perhaps the more fried food is the way to go there.

The friendliest and nicest staff I have experienced for a long time. Food is always lovely.

Loved the decor! A warm and cosy environment for such a large space. Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend it!

Waiter was nice but the food was cold when it arrived at the table. He brought it over straight away so the chef was at fault. Not impressed given how few people were there.

Second visit, first visit came for a saturday lunch and was spoilt with amazing table service and quick food service, this visit I came for my birthday, and although I still loved the prices, drinks, and vibes, i was really disappointed with the service and food. My meal came out (beef poutine) literally freezing and soggy (everyone elses was warm and fresh) and staff seemed too busy to care. Noone greeted me or my group and we didnt know where to order and the staff were a bit rude. Will still come back for drinks or maybe for food not on a busy friday but never again for a group dinner or for my bday again. Hope this is constructive feedback guys love the cocktails and such reasonable pricing / great vibes just a few hiccups on our friday booking

We were very disappointed with the service. We sat in a booth but as we were on the other side of the rope we had to go to the bar to order (very odd)!!!! It was not clear what we had to do. Service was indecisive and unclear. The meal was very nice and good value for money. We ordered the burgers which my children said were delicious, one being a gluten free bun. Table service at a table would have made for a more relaxed and pleasant experience.

This venue is amazing and the service was good. Food was standard American style however, it was dead. A real shame. The food quality could go up a knotch and the bathrooms could do with a little nicer smell rather than the blue tablet smell. Overall, okay. Could be so much better.

Really cool place, id definitely go again! Just a little thing, I hate complaining but we came at about 730 for food and the music was a Bit loud that I had to shout across the table haha

Brilliant venue for my sons 18th birthday dinner. Great food at reasonable prices. Service was prompt and courteous. Lived the music, decor and general vibe. Have already recommended to friends.

Went for lunch using a voucher that basically offered 241. Great variety of food. And the amount of food was more than enough for two. Food was delicious, especially the crumbed lamb cutlets. The caramel and nutella tart, also good but needed some cream or ice cream to reduce the richness. My only complaint was that the building was very cold, my husband had to go back to the car to get our coats.
