Fish Shack was FANTASTIC! Great food, great service. We had the seafood combo and chowder to start, and between 6 of us we tried most things on the menu - all delicious - would definitely recommend!

Scampi was very nice (definitely get it if u like scampi) and so was the Tatar sauce. The fish tasted nice but the batter wasn’t the best I’ve had. The chips portion and portions overall were small for the price. The calamari was a little chewy compared to others I have had. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, I would say the nicest staff in Dublin. Overall I enjoy the food but the prices were high for the amount of food received

The food was great, we got the seafood platter to share as a starter, it was more than enough for a starter and it was all well seasoned and fresh. We then got oysters and a pitcher of ale. The service was impeccable, the girls are so nice and positive, it brings a great atmosphere in the restaurant. Will definitely be back to try the seafood linguine :)

Our meal overall was great. I was disappointed by the half lobster special, as the lobster was TINY. I had only three bites of it and it was finished. There is also a grilled fish section on the menu, but not much of choice. There was only one fish, which was very boney. Most of the main dish options seemed on the heavy, greasy side, rather than healthy grilled.

The appetizers were wonderful especially the mussels and clam chowder.

We came one evening after I read many good reviews. We were not disappointed: the staff was super nice and the food was very good. I had the seafood chowder and it was outstanding, I ordered garlic bread and shrimp piri pure that was a little too hot for my tongue ahahah but was really good.
I would definitely come back there!

My husband and I booked a table here from reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and we weren’t disappointed! The ambience was lovely and had a cosy welcoming feel about it and the staff attentive and helpful. We both chose the fish medley which we really enjoyed. I had the Orio cheesecake which was delicious as was the Key Lime pie my husband chose. All in all I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant for food and atmosphere!

Very disappointing meal. We had shrimp nachos which were covered in a weird cold white sauce. No shrimps to be seen. Black sole on the special board was like rubber and appeared to have been cooked earlier that day.

The portion of the fish and chips was good and the mussels sauce was very good too. The ice cream is very creamy and tasty, I tried the honeycomb and was very pleasantly surprised. It was a nice meal.

We liked the Fish Shack enough to go back a 2nd time on a 3 day trip. The ambience is good, the decor is quite “beach” and the service timely and cheerful. The food is generally excellent, we were unfortunate the 2nd time that a special described “grilled scallops” turned out to be with a Mornay sauce, as my wife has intolerance to cheese. Otherwise, 5* all round.

We were in Fish Shack Sandycove last month and the food was amazing. Very fresh. Because of the good experience from Sandycove restaurant, we decided to try out the parliament street restaurant but it was awful, pre-cooked food arrived in less than 3 minutes after we ordered and it tasted bad. Would not recommend Fish Shack Parliament Street/ Temple bar to anyone

We arrived 10 minutes early, and it was embarrassing and arkward that there was no waiting area especially that 2 other couples arrived also, but we were shown to our table by a lovely young lady the service was excellent and the staff were friendly, once again a group of very drunk French men arrived with nowhere to wait they proceeded to sit beside anyone that had room at their table so the staff had to deal with that but the lads were very friendly so all was ok .. food was really lovely and we will definitely be back

What a fantastic find. This place is quite small, so I would recommend booking a table. I came here for lunch with a friend. We had the sharing platter for 2 for just €19.50. What fantastic value for money. The best calamari I have ever tasted, along with small crab sandwiches, prawns and brilliant mussels. I would highly recommend this place. And brilliant location in Temple Bar

Bought a pigsback voucher for €25, giving us €40 to spend on food. Great value, only ended up paying for our drinks. Food was fresh & tasty, lovely home made chips & fresh fish. Staff were very friendly & accomodating as my partner was running late but there was no issue in waiting to order. Very relaxed environment. Will definitely be back!
