Fish Bar - Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay
Open for Lunch and Dinner.
Dress code: Casual.
I think we had higher expectations of fish bar after great reviews but we were let down. It was hard to get service, we were sitting for over 2 hours in total (booked table for 5pm and no one told us dinner doesn’t start until 530 so that was frustrating) but then our order wasn’t even take. Until 6pm. Meal was very average for fine dining. There were cute little bonus palate cleansers in between but the overall length of time and food quality means I won’t be rushing back or recommending.
It was okay
Amazing restaurant, the service from Mere and Paul and was outstanding, we look forward to joining you again for our booking tonight
The food was delicious, we had fish mains and desert, which was perfectly cooked and tasty, and the staff were brilliant, friendly attentive and so kind to our children. The stand out for us was Shilpa, she was professional, kind and efficient, she made beautiful food so much more enjoyable due to her hospitality! She should be commended as I witnessed and extremely hard working and loyal employee taking my dining experience very seriously so that I had an experience not just a meal
Service was slow and inattentive. They could have sold me a could more drinks but it was hard to find staff to order.
Watching the sunset and having a lovely meal on the sandbar is as close to heaven as one might expect to come. Thank you. We will be back. Ben
Beautiful setting with amazing food. Expensive but the quality reflects that
We came here for dinner during our stay at the Marriott. The service was incredible and the food was amazing. We had the seafood bisque and salmon soba noodles for entree and walu fish for main and had the raspberry delice for dessert. The entree and dessert were 10/10 , simply delicious and perfect. Flavours were impeccable and to die for! The main was quite average but still nice. Cocktails were beautifully made too. The views are by far the best in Fiji. We watched the sunset and it was the best sunset I have seen! Will definitely be returning during my next visit to Fiji.
The Fish Bar at the Marriott Resort Momi Bay is a fantastic restaurant - great food with stunning sunset view. A must to go!
Beautiful Place to eat! Pricey but worth it. Great service, great friendly staff
Christmas Dinner beautiful views of the sunset and dinner our server Mererai was great!
An amazing dinner to celebrate my son's 24 th birthday on the first night of our stay at Momi Marriott. The view was incredible, the food fantastic and the staff were attentive and helpful. They surprised us with singing and a birthday dessert . The Fish Bar - and the Momi Marriott resort have exceeded our expectations. Make sure you book a table and go before sunset to capture the stunning views.
Dinner, amazing food and best views you can have. Highly recommend to have dinner here.
Lunch, food made us both sick (different meals), service was not existent, views are still outstanding, do not recommend for lunch.
Stopped for lunch at the Fish Bar. Food was delicious and the area was very relaxed.
The food was overpriced. I got 2 pieces of duck for f$68, literally 2 bites. The service was slow or non existent, when it started to rain they didn’t offer to move the table inside. We noted we were on our honeymoon and no aknowledgement was made. Was the worst meal on the resort, would not recommend eating here.
Turned up at 6pm and by the time our order was taken at 6:15pm the bay bugs had already run out or not available. This was despite being told when we sat down that it was part of the special. As there was nothing else on the menu worth eating we got up and left.
The atmosphere was also terrible. They had a singer who sang for maybe 5 minutes and then all of a sudden left during sunset which should be the ideal time to celebrate. It was dead quiet and a little unnerving.
Loved this place. Food was amazing as was the service and the views... incredible!
Ambience: Great Pacific Ocean view for dinner/supper.
Service: We were served with complimentary bread, small yellowfin tuna entrée and single scoop lime sorbet when waiting time gets longer; notable observant service crews on duty.
Food: Soups (lobster & califlower) were a little too creamy than preferred. Huge (adult hand sized) uncut chunks of broccoli made sharing unfriendly. Well-cooked salmon and tasty risotto.
Fish soup was very small and not entirely happy with that
lovely food AND wonderful service! the lamb and fish were amazing
Food and staff amazing. Only criticism is food came out a bit fast. Not much time between courses.
fabulous spot and great food. and a great run from the Queens Road!
Amazing food with an amazing view! Everyone is so friendly! We dined here multiple times!
Terrible service received from this Resturant, they are rude and the staffs are not present as a fine dining Resturant!
Nice food. Wait staff are variable in their service ability and generally not good. The potential exists for you to be ignored/forgotten, your table not served, rude and therefore if it's a special night - avoid this place since various comparable restaurants exist with a well established profile.
Lovely setting, unfortunately the food did not come up to the same standard, it may have been because we were late being served (20:00) but the staff are friendly and helpful: and the surroundings are simply stunning.
We were disappointed that no table was set or ready for our arrival at 7 pm! We were given an average table as all the others were booked out directly through the resort and they informed us that they didn't recognize our booking!! They were apologetic but considering we booked from Sydney using your app, it was v disappointing
The atmosphere and ambiance is fantastic. The food was lovely. I was a little disappointed however, as when I booked I told them it was my husband's birthday and would like dessert to come out with a candle. I was told no problem but it never happened.
