FIRE is located in the heart of Dublin in the popular Dawson St. area. Offering exclusive dining options in a historical dining room including the best private dining in Dublin. A mix of styles the current structure was built in 1891 as the Lord Mayor’s Supper Room. In the 20th Century, it was used as a cultural centre before returning to its original purpose of serving supper when it became a restaurant. The soaring ceilings of 19th century, stained glass windows and bronze sculptures are a few elements of this magnificent dining space. FIRE also offers outdoor dining on the terrace overlooking the Lord Mayor’s Garden.

We pride ourselves on creating menus around locally sourced produce. Firmly committed to supporting sustainable local produce we serve the finest selection of meats and produce that Ireland has to offer. Our concept is very simple, take Ireland's finest raw ingredients and use original recipes to create exceptional dishes without getting too complicated.

Our first time at Fire and will definitely return. Everything from the time we arrived until we left was very well organised, staff very friendly and waitress was attentive and efficient but not in your face. Food was amazing and not as expensive as I had thought, good variety on the early bird menu.

My husband and I had a lovely evening at Fire. The pre dinner cocktails were a lovely touch and the food / service was outstanding. It is a little pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

The service was outstanding. Sadhbh took great care of us in the dining room and Grace downstairs. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough. My fire points didn’t go onto my account for the second time. My only gripe!

I would recommend but I wouldn't be running back to be honest, I have heard so much about FIRE and was really excited about going. While its a beautiful venue, the service was incredibly slow . It looked like they didn't have enough staff on the ground and it took ages to get served. My husband ordered after dinner drink and they never delivered it, when I asked the waitress , she said the bar was too busy so perhaps a wine would be quicker? We couldn't find anyone at end of night to pay our bill, so we walked up to a counter and waited to pay. Of course, my husband left a generous tip as its part of his culture and DNA, but I am not sure I would have :-)

Our cocktails in the waiting lounge were amazing never tasted such nice cocktails, when we moved to our table upstairs we ordered the same cocktails and it tasted COMPLETELY different. It was nowhere near as nice which was disappointing.
Starters were gorgeous really delicious.
Main we got rib eye steak, could only eat half of it as it was like chewing gum. So dissapoiented with that. Chicken was good.
Service was brilliant.
Thanks
Maria

I saw the fire restaurant on trip advisor and thought the vaulted ceilings and food review looked good we booked a table. Unfortunately, we waited a long time for our courses. we arrived at 2045 and did not receive our 2230. We were also not seated in the featured on the website. There was a table of middle-aged men next to us swearing regularly which was uncomfortable. the food was moderately good.

The dinner was not bad, although the waiter got the salads wrong and my husbands steak was rare, definitely not medium rare. The waiter was not attentive. The ambiance was nice, good location and the deck looked inviting. All told it was a meh experience.

Very disappointed. I had booked a table for myself and my sister for Saturday night at 8pm. On arriving the table we were given was in the conservatory section. The table was dirty and they moved us to a new table. The new table was also dirty and the lady proceeded to spray the table whilst we were sitting there. Our waiter was dreadful. I have dined at many top restaurants and never have I received such a bad service. He took our order and served our food and poured 2 glasses of water and 2 glasses of prosecco. After that he never came near our table. We poured our own presecco after that. My sister had to lift a dripping bottle of presecco and poured our own drinks. He never once came to our table to see if we were ok. We told the gentleman who was over the section and he offered a free drink Just to also say the food was tasty but was lukewarm. I didnt want to say anything about the food as I was so stressed over the experience and I didnt want to cause any more upset to my sister as I had brought her out for her birthday. On leaving we spoke with the Manager and he gave my sister his card. We spoke of our disappointment. He again offered us a drink downstairs but we declined and at this stage we just wanted to leave. It was a very disappointing experience and I just couldnt believe the service we received. It was very upsetting as I had brought my sister out for her birthday and to be honest our experience in your restaurant ruined the evening. I look forward to hearing from you.

I always love coming to Fire Restaurant - particularly for family occasions. We were there on Saturday to celebrate my brother's birthday. As always the food was exceptional - a great atmosphere that was buzy enough but not too intrusive and finally the service was second to none - the team looked after us very well and catered to specific requests that we had. We were there at 3pm and had the early bird menu which is super value. We went to the bar after for a few drinks to round off the evening and again everything was excellent there - loved the touch of the popcorn being served with the drinks. Look forward to returning again soon.

Tried the “Worlds Best Steak 2018” and it was absolutely amazing. Each bite of meat was juicy, tender and seasoned to perfection!! We paired the food with a bottle of Patchwork Barossa Shiraz... spectacular!! Our waiter for the evening was Sadbh and she was friendly and professional. We really liked the egg earrings, they were a great conversation piece.

We will definitely return to sample your other items on the menu. Thanks Fire.

We enjoyed some drinks downstairs in the bar before our meal. Service was sliw but friendly. We then went upstairs to the restaurant.
We weren't in the main restaurant area which looked fabulous and which looked like it had a better atmosphere then where we where. We were indoors looking out onto the balcony sitting area which looked really nice too as it was a lovely warm evening. The food was very nice and well presented. Our abrupt and unfriendly waiter told us we had to order our dessert at the beginning even though we didn't want too. Service was fast and efficient but unfriendly. Lots of additional supplements made the bill add up and although I enjoyed my meal, it was too expensive to entice me back. I'm OK spending a little extra on a restaurant that is really special but this wasn't one of those.

Fire is centrally located in the heart of the city. A sophisticated bar to relax in while waiting on one's table and an attractive menu to choose from ensure you will have an enjoyable catch up with friends and family or romantic meal with a loved one. A regular haunt when I'm in Dublin.

We arrived to the restaurant and our table wasn’t quite ready so we sat in the lounge/bar area and ordered a cocktail. Our cocktails never arrived and we got seated for our table upstairs in the restaurant. The staff were polite and gave prompt service with our orders. Our starters had arrived before our wine which they quickly clocked on too and served our wine straight away. The starter was amazing, definitely recommend the prawns. Followed by the main which was also outstanding. So full and satisfied we didn’t have room for desert. Our bill arrived with our cocktails listed on which we never received although they took them off as soon as we mentioned it without a fuss. Overall experience was good and I would definitely go back. The food makes up for the delay on the drinks and everything served after our first glass of wine was fast and served with a smile. The dining room was also an amazing room to dine in.

The service was very poor. We had a corporate event and I had flagged that on arrival. we did have one client who had been delayed travelling but I did check in with from go house and I was reassured that there was no problem with the table. However the waiter on having a complaint from one of our group was quite rude .
