Fin & Brew
My family and I went there for brunch and the food was amazing, my husband loved the pancakes with the apple and coconut, the mimosas were perfect!! Amazing view and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Afterwards we played games downstairs with our 11 year old daughter who loved it as well.
This is fine place for a casual night out with friends. We were here in mid-November when the weather was extremely cold. I can this spot on a nice spring/summer/fall evening, eating outdoors along the river. The ambiance indoors is supercasual/industiral. The noise level, even in the separate dining room, is on the loud side. The food is OK, period. The flathead trout was on the rare side; perhaps we should have specified more medium. It was served with tasty gnocchi on the side, though not very many. I had a shrimp appetizer which was about as good as you can make out of Cosco frozen shrimp. Not really bad or anything, but not memorable. My partner had the farmer's salad, which also was on the plain, simple side with not much to recommend it. We were there for restaurant week, and the ice cream for desert was good. Our server was really excellent. She was really busy but always seemed to notice everything on the table, asked several times asking if our food was ok. The people who served the actual dishes were efficient and professional and the good came out promptly. This is not a place for fine cuisine but it's worth three stars -- "good".
restaurant had no heat!! So we left
Great food, service and location. A catered affair in the next room was loud and detracted from our experience. They need some sound proofing or better attention to seating arrangements.
Both the food and beer were very good and it is a beautiful, cozy space. Our octopus appetizer was overcooked but bone marrow appetizer and the skirt steak main were exceptional. Our server was very pleasant and competent, but the restaurant is large and understaffed. It looked like there were only two actual waiters working on the night we went. Will definitely return to check out brunch.
Love Fin & Brew. Always great. The noise level was very high due to a bar mitzvah. I would prefer to go when a loud party is not going on. Otherwise you guys rock.
The food was excellent and the beer was great. We will be back.
went for restaurant week $ 32.95 for 3 courses the food was very good, nice ambiance, the regular menu is pricey so probably will not go back.
Food is always delicious!
the food was good but a bit overpriced, service very good, nice view of Hudson and marina by the windows, not very noisy when we went ,but the restaurant was less than half full, the menu was also limited in it's offerings.
Limited menu and very loud with a wedding going on. Very pricey for the value
A wonderful experience. The staff was so friendly. Chef Mike and Chef Kevin came out to talk to us. Food was so well prepared and delicious!!
We waited so long to get our dinners (in a half-empty restaurant as the time continued to pass) that we eventually walked out. Used to be a favorite, even though the service was always dicey. Now, they've lost us completely. They're in over their heads.
Food and service was outstanding
Dessert was a little disappointing. but the coffee made up for it.
Went to Fin & Brew with a party of 4 for an 11am brunch on Sunday. Food was excellent (I had the Eggs Benedict). Service was attentive and friendly. The ambiance was great and views from the dining area are spectacular. Definitely a must visit! I will be returning to try out some of their East & West Coast oysters!
Service was extremely slow. There seemed to be a wedding that took most of the kitchen's attention. Portions were small. Food was tasty and well prepared.
Excellent food, ambiance and service. Some of the best crafted food I’ve had in Westchester. Would recommend Fin and Brew for any occasion.
My wife and I got married at the Factoria and had had a great experience, we come to Fin and Brew or Factorias outdoor restaurant at least 2-3 times a year. Highly recommend!
We met with friends for a dinner date. The food was incredible. Every dish we ordered was delicious. It seemed family friendly from the atmosphere although the menu is not for children. Most entrees were $30+.
We love Fin and Brew and have gone a number of times. Food and cocktails are very creative menus. The staff and management are all very friendly and informative. The views are to die for if you can get there for the sunset hour. It's the fine dining of this complex and well worth every penny.
Food is so delicious. The way the food is prepared sets this restaurant apart from all others. Very creative. Outstanding!
We asked for a table by the window and the hostess graciously made one available in short time while we waited at the bar.
WE went on a quiet Sunday evening, excellent service and great food.
Our hosts Chris and Evan at Alexander Hamilton House recommended Fin and Brew to us. Just a 11 minute drive from Croton on Hudson, we werevery impressed by the location, ambience food and service. What a lovely gem tucked in Peekskill along the Hudson River. The menu is eclectic with very diverse offerings. We shared a watermelon salad containing pickled red onions, mint leaves with fresno aguachiles. The netrees we tried were braised lamb coated in honey and pistachios and roast chicken with eggplant puree. The side dish of spicy tempura green beans made us instant converts. Michael, our server, was very professional, attentive and happy to chat about music, particularly our guitar heroes in common.
the view is beautiful and for the most part the food is excellent BUT not all of it and the services very spotty. Our wait person apologized at least three times about the long wait for our entrees. The west coast oysters were yummy as was the charred avocado. The Char itself was excellent but the pickled vegetables were inedible--the pickling was completely overwhelming. The almond cake was very good and the napoleon wasn't bad.
With all of that i'd go back hoping they work out a few of the kinks. Is is very pricey though
This place is really cool....great setting. I can imagine it can get loud, but when we were there the noise level was fine. Service was ehh...don't know if we went to the wrong entrance or what, but it seemed a little happenstance, and I think there was only 1 waitress and one runner for all the tables which made service a little slow. While we got everything we asked for, we had to ask for everything...maybe someone called out. That said, the food was amazing...so I'll be sure to give it another go!
Creatively prepared, locally sourced food, Attentive service and gorgeous views.
They have the formula!!
The restaurant is very nice, but the noise level is extremely high. Our table was near the bar and it was overloaded with young loud people.
Our waiter was very congenial, but he seemed overworked and tired. Once we declined alcoholic beverages he seemed to lose interest in any of our needs. I asked for a straw, which he never got for me. Finally my daughter went to the bar and got me one.
We waited approximately 45 minuted for our dinner. It was not really tasty and the portions were small. I was not really impressed with the whole package.
The service was severely lacking. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I truly enjoyed our birthday celebration at Fin n Brew, everything was perfect and the food was delicious. The waiters were amazing. I will definitely be back.
Outstanding and creative food. One of the best meals I've ever had
excellent food and service plus phenomenal view - so happy we found it
This was our first time at the Fin & Brew . We were looking for some fresh seafood , and al fresco dining . The Fin & Brew delivered on both points . Beautiful outdoor terrace facing the Hudson and the setting sun . We had mussels , and a fish stew with a delicious corn infused broth . Lots of fish . My only comment would be to serve the stew with larger shrimp . Big selection of wine by the glass , and fresh brewed decaf to finish a wonderful meal . The service was attentive , but not overbearing .
We will certainly return !
Very much enjoyed the quality of the food and the exceptional service. Our server was very patient and repeated the specials as the rest of our party arrived.
We really enjoyed the experience. Our meals were well prepared and presented. The views of the river and the sunset were something to see.
Would have appreciated at least a place mat on the table and it was a bit noisy. But overall, a nice experience.
The Mussels and the Swordfish were both fantastic. Dining on the veranda while the sun is setting on Dunderberg Mountain across the Hudson is an experience unmatched anywhere else on the river.
Always amazing food and service. The food is beautiful and delicious, view is spectacular.. our fave spot in the Hudson Valley
Food was incredible. Inside bartenders were rude, but our server at the table was great! Ambience was also incredible.
June we eat dinner real good service and food. August what just happen to this place food was overcooked. Service is so slow 50 min we got drinks and appetizers? 20-min more we have main course.
OK i dint mind wait time if food was anything close 2 months a go. Price is to high for wait and bad food. Will not go there again.
Delicious combination of flavors on all dishes without overdoing it. Beautiful presentation. Great service. Accommodating of special diet needs.
Amazing place! A gem in Westchester on so many levels!
