Food was good. Service was a little slow, but overall nice.
We had a terrible experience. The waiter came once and never checked on us again. My daughter got sick
The food was really bland. The drinks were good though. For the price you would think they would add a little salt and pepper
Servicer Una P. was fantastic, food to match! Learned they can do the bruschetta on zucchini slices, great GF option!!! Chilean Sea Bass was so good, great mix of flavors! Husband loved chicken with great flavor and cabbage added nice texture. Simple dessert of coffee and a small bite was just enough!! This location offers a special ambiance!
Anytime we have come here for dinner, we have never been disappointed. The F&O knows how to get it right for such a large restaurant.
Great atmosphere and ambience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The waitress was very helpful and nice. Would definitely come back here again and again!
I was only able to give a score of "energetic" for the noise level but I would say it was more like "over the top". We came in from Toronto and it was our first night out and wanted to discuss our weekend. Well it was near impossible. There was a DJ that had the music so loud our servers could not hear our order. We asked if that level of noise was normal and she said yes as it was Friday. The appetizer was good but the truffle risotto tasted to much like truffle oil rather then truffles themselves. Our waitress was great and the restaurant was beautiful. Wine lists starts at $65 so be prepared.
Went for my dinner tonite for my bday. Ordered several appetizers, drinks, side dish, and dessert. So disappointing. Service has gone down hill as has the food flavor. Never had oysters that tasted like nothing & sent them back. Server was either overwhelmed by other tables, or just genuinely disinterested and patronizing. In a city where there are thousands of restaurants, this one is nothing special. Just disappointed I wasted my bday there.
What a great way to spend a Thursday evening. The food was outstanding! The live music added to the extra warm to the ambience. Our service was great.
I always love it here but there were a couple of issues- the food took forever and they made up by giving me a itsy bitsy sampling of dessert. There were three of us. Then I ordered a lemon chicken sandwich and had slices of lemon with rind in the sandwich. Not good.
We enjoy this restaurant but the service has really slipped. My date got a different item than what was ordered and I didn’t get my drink for 20 minutes - until I asked twice. I don’t know if this is a general trend, a poorly trained server, or if they were distracted by a few large parties.
To cap things off - we were flagged as no shows in opentable - after we were seated - and I had to offer to share a copy of my receipt to have opentable back off.
Note to senior management - we go to the fifth ave location also - this location is slipping and needs your attention to tighten things up!
Great for lunch - food, atmosphere, service and location.
Worst paella ever! So watery.
Food was delicious and service was great. Recommendations were on point 👌
We were a large party and they took care of us individually and it was a team affair. I was quite impressed!
Fig & Olive has the most delicious crostinis with various toppings that are so exciting to eat! As well, I always order their mushroom croquettes! But what’s new is the brunch experience on Sundays with live music and egg dishes! I loved the experience both times that I went! Besides the delicious food, our server was so attentive, and the manager made us feel welcomed! Definitely a favorite place to eat! I highly recommend it!
Very good but would have liked more prompt coffee service at brunch.
Nice place ! Was the first Time and we loved ! We will come back
Niente di che....olio (di cui vanno molto fieri) assolutamente scadente.
Our server Zak was unbelievably attentive and supportive of all our choices. Very knowledgeable and personable. We had such a great evening.
Prior to making a reservation, I called to make sure that there was a childrens' menu at dinner. I was told that there was so I made the reservation. We were 5 adults and 4 kids celebrating a birthday. Turns out there is no childrens' menu at dinner, but they did offer us flatbread pizza (which some kids were OK with) and pasta, which other kids ordered, but it was chewy. So the PSA is that this isn't the best place to bring kids. But the food that the adults ordered was delicious - kinda pricey even for Meatpacking, but we enjoyed ourselves and then grabbed dinner for the kids after.
Great vibe with casual Mediterranean eats. They were able to accommodate my large group without an issue and the service we received was commendable.
I loved everything about this place. From the warm decor to the outstanding service to the absolutely DELICIOUS dinner. We will definitely return!
I've been to fig&olive midtown many times but needed a place closer to home to met old friends in the middle of the afternoon. Fig&Olive was perfect - we had drinks and some snacks and given the time of day, quiet. We did want to sit outside but they said it wasn't set up and they only had one server so we stayed in. Even though a couple was sitting at the next table, the restaurant was quiet and we enjoyed our visit immensely.
In the Meatpacking District are many restaurant, this one has a combined Mediterranean kitchen!
Nice service, ambiance and menu to choose from.
We had a lovely dinner; the ingredients used in the dishes that we ordered were fresh and beautifully presented and the flavor combinations were expertly curated. Our server could have put a little more effort in. She took the order of the table that sat down after us before even taking our drink order. We ordered four small plates and let her know that she could course it out however and that we didn't have a preference as to what came out first. I guess coursing it out would have been too much work for her since all four dishes came out at the same time to our very small table and my partner and I had to awkwardly maneuver items around (including placing our table candle up on a ledge) to accommodate all four plates plus a plate of bread with balsamic and EVOO at once. She didn't check on us until we were about to take our last bites and casually said "I'm not sure why they brought it all out at once"... Had she coursed our meal in the computer and took the two seconds to go 'fire' each course, the above scenario would not have occurred.
Amazing place, beautiful restaurant! Great food and wine!
Always great...we dine here at least once a month. The crostini are a must, and the bread and dipping oils are always a winner.
Bland food, uninterested servers.
I really like the atmosphere of Fig and Olive at 13th street. The restaurant is so spacious and elegant, and the staff are welcoming and efficient. My usual favorites are the selections of Crostini and the Mushroom Croquettes! I crave the croquettes very often, so I order them at home and in the restaurant. Highly recommended!
I usually love fig and olive. they changed there menu a lot and some of the dishes are missing or altered, also noticed the portions have gotten smaller. They also forgot my birthday candle even though they were told several times it was my birthday.
We went for dinner, I had only been to fig & olives for brunch (in the UES) and I loved it ! So I had great expectations for this dinner. Infortunately, it wasn’t very good. I had the balsamic glazed short rib. The polenta was good but the meat was terrible. Would definitely not recommend this entree. One friend had the primavera risotto which was kind of bland. Apple tart is excellent though and service is good. So overall pricey for the experience and disappointing if you are a food lover.
They have a DJ on Friday night, it’s really cool but be prepared to raise your voice.
Went for a business lunch. Great service, delicious bread and olive oil to start. Got the salmon burger and fries, and enjoyed every bite. Looking forward to going back.
Our experience was nice but I thought our waiter was a bit rude
Professional service but it was little too pushy... she was trying to over push every product!
The other guests in my party had great looking and tasting food.
I'd ordered the prix fixe which was good but the chicken salad was very disappointing.
This is typically our first dinner when we visit NYC. The food is excellent and the Meatpacking location is typically more sedate than the others. Highly recommended!
Great Saturday night spent there with family. Food, service and ambiance amazing. Favourite restaurant when in New York.
Great food and great environment.
Lovely atmosphere in this spacious and elegant restaurant. Terrific bruschetta and a really delicious octopus starter. My chicken salad needed salt, lovely wines by the glass. Such a nice lunch!!!
