The small, quaint dining room was designed to resemble an old fashioned Italian osteria. Rich with wood and other earth elements Fiamma is a warm inviting atmosphere. The Italian countryside was inspiration for both the menu and the dining space. While at Fiamma you will be greeted with a smile, and treated like family.
Good food, nice outdoor seating.
We had reservations for 7:30 last Friday night. We arrived about 15 minutes early and were asked to wait at the bar. We attempted to order drinks and were served after 15 minutes of waiting. During our wait the bartender served 3 other parties that arrived after us, seems that there were people in these groups who were friends with the bartender and therefore entitled to quicker service. Once seated we could hardly hear each other across the table, having to shout to chat. When our server shared the specials 2 of the 4 people in our party could not hear what the server said. Drink orders did not arrive for 25 minutes. Appetizers arrived shortly after and were tasty ( Pizza and salad for the table) Entrees arrive nearly 35 minute later, with no drink refills. 3 of the 4 entrees where cold and 2 dishes were completely inedible, when the serve came back to check on us we shared our dissatisfaction with the entrees, the servers response was to mumble something and disappear. After another 15 minutes of trying to get our servers attention we flagged down am other server to get our check.
Order the Garganelli ai Cavolfiori, you will want to lick the plate clean!
Very good pizza! Definitely going back to try the whole menu!
The chef was very heavy handed on the salt. Every dish that we were served was over salted. Nice ideas on each dish but the heavy salt turned us off. And I am a fairly heavy salted myself.
Food was delicious as always. Staff were attentive and kind.
The food and service were very good. Outside seating a plus (tables a little close together)
We had special appetizer. Fried fresh mozzarella with fresh tomatoes and a pesto sauce. Very yummy. We also shared a pizza. Their pizzas are delicious!
It was our first wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have been happier with our meal at Fiamma Centro. We got a last minute reservation and they were more than accommodating to seat us outside away from everyone else. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully plated. There were three servers constantly in and out checking on us making sure everything was ok for us. We will definitely be back!
Service was great and food was on point as usual! Always enjoy our nights here!
Always great food! We sat at the bar and the bartenders were great! Drinks and food A+++
We will definitely be back
We ate inside, for the first time on the upper level. We felt very safe. The outside tables were occupied much closer together. Dinner was great. I had the Veal Saltimbocca and the sauce was very flavorful and the veal was tender. My husband had a Cod special for the night. He liked it okay but didn’t love it. Service was quick and efficient. We will come again.
Our reservation was refused because they wanted to close early. The staff was not kind or cared that we had a reservation.
As always, best brick oven pizza in town! Very accommodating for a large party of 12.
I am a regular customer of this restaurant, always booked with Open Table and always had good service.
This evening it has been a very disappointing experience, I had a table booked at 7.30pm for 4 and the server in charge of the table management was not aware about my reservation, table was not ready.
In addition she told us to wait for 5 min and we got a table after 45 min.
Clearly this is not good, no apologies from her side in addition.
On top of it there were table available at 7.30pm but for unknown reason we didn’t get any of them (favoritism for others customers).
This is not professional at all, crew of this restaurant still need to learn a lot of things
We made a 7:15 reservation and we were not seated until 7:45pm. While waiting for a table we grabbed a cocktail, the bartender made a few mistakes with running our card for someone else drink order as well as double charging for one drink. We were comped a drink, and the food was very good. A little frustrating though to make a reservation ahead of time and still have to wait over 30 mins to be seated.
I Love Fiamma’s Centro ! can’t use enough adjectives to describe The owner/chef is Outstanding artistic Culinary Chef - i’d like to see the Sophia Loren movies back on the screens
Delicious meal.... salad and pizzas were excellent and fresh... service was very friendly and knowledgeable....we sat outside and it was quiet and comfortable.
We had some entrees and appetizers. The house salad was a stand out, and was delicious, The lobster/corn/burrata special was a bit bland and uninspired. The cod entree was just fried cod in a run-of-the-mill tomato sauce...again a little uninspired. The mushroom risotto had good flavoring, but had inordinate amounts of oil/grease which made it a little watery/slimy. The patio is wonderful. If we return, maybe we'll stick with pizza.
Great service and wonderful food! I will be sure to come back!
Good food, but lots of issues with Social Distancing/Masks. I made an early reservation, because I hoped it would be less crowded. We were seated with plenty of space. Some of the staff had inadequate masks. One young woman's mask kept falling off. Below us at the bar were 4 or 5 gentlemen drinking close together without masks and the bartender had no mask either.
Birthday dinner for our son. The server was excellent. Dining area noise was much less than in the past which was a nice surprise.
Everyone enjoyed their meals.
Celebrated a birthday here for a date night out, first date night out since reopening. Food was incredible- the pasta with lobster was the show stopper dish at the table. We enjoyed a table on the patio and our waitress noticed that the wine cooler was not keeping the wine as cold as normal due to the high heat and ended up switching us to a set up with an ice bath, making the wine even more chilled than before.
Because of the virus we felt they must have been short on staff, homemade pasta was delicious but the rib eye steak was very fatty
I took my parents out for their anniversary, along with our kids. Being a Sunday, during Covid, it was relatively quiet, which was fine. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place, though. It was very eclectic with some good trance music pumping through. The food was pretty good overall, while some dishes were excellent and a few missed the mark. We ordered more than a handful of dishes (pizza, salad, appetizers, pasta dishes and entres) and ate family style. The service was great and very attentive, but again, it was fairly quiet. I will definitely be back.
As usual when dinning here, the food was very good. I'm providing a lower "Service" score only because of an issue I had with one of the runners...being it's mandatory during COVID that employees wear a mask, I was disturbed that this person was wearing hers below her mouth and around her chin thereby completely exposing the six of us. She was caring food to our table, leaning over both us and the food when grinding cheese over a salad, etc. I appreciate some people may be bothered by a mask or not think it does anything, but this is a fine dining establishment and all employees should adhere to the policies as they risk making diners feel uneasy. Management should enforce the policy to all its employees.
The ambulance is fantastic the food is really good as well service good. drinks good. overall very positive experience
Love the place
The food and server was absolutely fantastic.
The pasta was too al dente. I enjoy al dente, but these were almost crunchy.
The lobster seemed a tad overcooked and not super fresh. Overall it was good, but not overly noteworthy.
The pizza crust was too salty for my liking also.
The appetizer of shrimp and calamari was AMAZING. Staff was nice, but our waiter seemed a bit unsure of himself, like he was new and didn’t have a lot of experience.
My dad didn’t like his marinated steak. He said it was very grisly. The last two times prior to this time that my parents dined at your restaurant, they were completely amazed at the deliciousness of everything. Maybe this whole corona virus has impacted staffing and things aren’t up to par perhaps?
We had a great experience. Our waitress Elana was very upbeat, friendly and supportive helping us navigate our way through the menu. The selections of food range from creative wood fired pizza to full entrees and outstanding specials. Definitely give it a try.
We received bread but no butter or olive oil with spices.
When we asked, we received a container of oil and nothing else.
We did not have napkins, we had to ask for napkins after we receiving our good.
These are minor our experience overall was great. Wanted to give the feedback as it always helps to improve the customer experience.
I have been there a dozen of times and I enjoy my experience each time.
Always have a good meal here. Not your typical Italian food, I’ve never had a pizza the way it’s made here, crust is light, tasty with a nice char
My husband and I went for our anniversary. It was our first time out since January, because of the pandemic. It was nice to finally get out. I felt terrible for the server wearing a mask. And I told him to take it off. He was super sweet and did a great job. My only complaint was that the food wasn’t as good as it usually is. And my chicken dish was supposed to have eggplant and it did not. And I also ordered a side salad that came with my dinner instead of before. Other than that everything was good. Drinks were great and experience was good
Excellent food, service, ambiance
Happy the restaurant is back open. It is always a great experience and the food is outstanding!
Food came out at separate times as well as our order of mashed potatoes came out 15 minutes after we received our food. Bartender was awesome! Filet was under cooked. Other than the bartender being great, experience and food not so much.
Great time! Food was amazing and Lauren offered wonderful service!
The food was just average but the patio is very cute.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Never disappointed!
As always, the food was fabulous. We were disappointed by the service however. We were seated upstairs and there seems to be no communication between the kitchen and the staff in terms of timing. We weren’t even halfway through our appetizers when they started bringing out entrees. We were frantically shuffling around our plates as we tried to make room for everything on the table. The server bringing the food said not one word the whole time nor did he offer to take any plates away to help make room. It would be understandable if the restaurant was packed and they were trying to turn tables over quickly but there were plenty of empty tables around us. As we were eating we saw the same thing happen at the table next to ours. It made for a disappointing dining experience. It will make us think twice before going there again.
