Feng Chophouse

I have long heard great feedback on this wonderful place. Trust me, it is to be believed. Fantastic food, cocktails, atmosphere and service. We look forward to returning!

Went here during the pandemic on an off night. We were super far from the next table, we could barley see them! The general manager, Matt, was our waiter for the night and he was a delight! The food quality was excellent, would definitely come back again!

Birthday !

We had another wonderful experience at the chop house. Absolutely fantastic starters and a perfect steak. With the current Covid pandemic we felt very safe in the environment. The staff was taking all precautions. It was a few hours of normality in a crazy world. I can’t say enough good things about the food and the experience.

Super GREAT service!! Our waitress was wonderful. Much better experience compared to our last time there when they reopened in April 2019. Thanks for a good, but way overpriced evening.

Excellent food especially Bacon Fried Rice.

Celebrated a special birthday with the family - wonderful restaurant!! We were treated like VIPs and the food was simply amazing. Had a mix of dry aged steak and special sushi rolls. All were spot on and top notch - when paying for expensive food, THIS is what you hope for - they do have some less expensive things which I'm sure are equally amazing - from the A5 Wagyu Nigiri to the Lady M desert - we loved it and will be back very soon!!!!!!

From start to finish...AMAZING

The sushi was very good for Connecticut standards. They were out of uni which was disappointing. My family ordered the steak because which was average at best. Service was outstanding.

We discovered Feng about a month ago and have enjoyed it ever since. Staff is friendly and the sushi/sashimi and rolls are delicious.

We went to Feng to celebrate our first anniversary, and we were served the best meal I’ve ever had. The sushi was phenomenal, my salmon entree was perfectly cooked, and my boyfriend’s steak was well worth the cost. Our server, Matt, was attentive and helpful with recommendations. The chef also prepared a beautiful dessert for us. Feng Chophouse made our anniversary dinner perfect.

We went to dinner were greeted by Matthew and had an awesome experience. Sushi was so fresh I don’t know when the last time was we had sushi’s and Nigiri so fresh and delicious and the service was off the wall. I hope you all visit here and enjoy the experience and delicious food we did, KUDOS!!!!

Sushi post-renovation is next level. It was good before, but with the high end rice and aged fish (ask and they will explain), this was really special. Worth every penny.

Great food!! Service was good although I did feel a little rushed. Dining area was very nice but a little on the dark side. Prices are high but the food is solid and portions are adequate. Will be back.

Wife and I went here after a show. Food was delicious, I had the porterhouse medium rare- cooked perfectly. Wife had the filet also delicious. We had the dumpling appetizer, shrimp fried rice and asparagus sides- all delicious. The service was wonderful. The restaurant itself is something you would find in NYC. Will definitely return.

Food very tasty and nicely served. We did Entrees vs the Asian style options. Noise level too high (from bar area) but staff seated us in back and it was fine. Lighting was too low (really couldn't read the menu) but staff increased for us and it worked. Food quite expensive so be prepared.

Food was very good. Service was slow and unfriendly. Music was loud and awful. Restaurant decor is beautiful.

This was our first visit back to Feng since right after the reopening. We were happy to see the menu has some of the old favorites in addition to new selection. We won’t be waiting another year to go back.

My husband ordered shrimp tempura and the shrimp was rubbery., didn’t taste fresh.

It was our first time @ Feng- celebrating my bday. Ambiance and decor is very nice. Waitress introduction to “we serve the best sushi in the state” not the best. Then he continued to recommend the most expensive things in the menu. For dessert we asked from creme brûlée which was topped with dried fruit not described on the menu. I’m allergic to pineapple :)
I would like to give the place one more try. Sushi was very good, service not really.

Sushi and steak were amazing, glad that they brought back the rolls that were so popular at Feng in the past. Host was pretty rude to us when we arrived, making us feel bad for arriving 10 minutes early for a reservation. We asked for standard seating and were shown to a high top which we asked to change. Drinks took forever but our waitress tried her best to make it right. She clearly had too many tables and very little support from a busing perspective. The food is great but they need to work on staffing and hospitality.

FENG Chophouse! This place was exquisite! The food was amazing, the service was very good and serving was plentiful for all. We loved the locale, easy access to parking and the high-end look was a plus.

Great date night with my lady. The food was amazing. Eric, our server was very knowledgeable about the food, and even had some facts ready to share with pictures. April, the bartender, was on point with the beverages, and always good for a laugh. Repeat visits are in our future.

I had not been to agent since their renovation and rebranding to Feng Chophouse. Before, I felt the menu lacked imagination, but the new menu is fun, interesting, and accessible. As usual, the sushi is wonderful. My only concern was that it wasn’t busier on a weekend night and it should have been. It was a truly great meal!

What a fantastic dining experience, I. Any believe it took me so long to try Feng! We came for the Taste of Hartford menu but soon after went back for sushi and nigiri. First, the steaks are OUTSTANDING. Perfectly cooked aged steaks, just above and beyond anything I’ve had in the Hartford area. The sushi is of the highest quality. It’s expensive but there’s a reason for it. This isn’t buffet sushi, this is the good stuff. They carry things like otoro and other types that you don’t see everywhere but indicate high quality. What a fabulous find, it was worth every penny. Pro tip: Hartford has free street parking all weekend and after 6 pm. There is almost always street parking around if you’re willing to walk two blocks!

By far one of the best meals we have had in a long time. The fish was fresh and very tasty. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone on the area.

Feng was closed for a long time and now it is open again with a new Chophouse! Everything I loved about the old Feng but with amazing atmosphere and an expanded menu. The bar is just stunningly cool to be in and the dining room has new booths and top notch finishes. Just beautiful! I felt like I was at the hippest place in NYC! Definitely an experience! We loved it!

Great experience! Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. I had the 10 oz fillet and it was PERFECTLY cooked. It was the BEST steak I’ve ever had. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her sushi and we both found drinks that we greatly enjoyed. I feel as though they are best know for their fish/sushi, but do not underestimate their steaks. We will definitely be back.
