Welcome to Felix, a wine & pasta bar that celebrates the sweet lifestyle of Italy, right here in Launceston. Join us in our exploration of outstanding produce, in bottle & on plate, from Tasmania, Australia & beyond. Our venue is vibrant, funky & modern, with a friendly & non-pretentious service style.

We serve Lunch & Dinner Wednesday through Saturday, & also serve Breakfast Friday & Saturday.

Lunch & Dinner (Thursday-Saturday) showcases our main affair: fresh pasta & accompanying plates with modern Australian flair & a ever-present traditional Italian twist. Additionally, fresh Italian Panini are available for takeaway, from 11am, made with fresh & local ingredients.

Breakfast (Friday-Saturday) brings the addition of specialty coffee, Euro-inspired breakfast dishes & treats, such as Portuguese tarts.

We had a fantastic night at Felix! The service was amazing, the food was sensational and the atmosphere was relaxed and cosy. We will definitely be back!

I do love this restaurant however the music was so loud we could barely hear each other talk, we didnt receive our salad we ordered and the staff were banging behind us with cutlery etc due to us sitting right near the kitchen which was unfortunate. However the food and service were lovely as always.

Trendy & Energetic little restaurant, playing great music from vinyl records. Great atmosphere and awesome attentive staff. Menu limited but food was absolutely scrumptious and dessert was simply over the mood. And great cocktails.

Now Launceston has a restaurant that is really cool, not old-style and ordinary. Felix is a welcoming, relaxed place (even the staff were relaxed whilst giving great friendly service) with excellent food and drinks.

Got charged $25 cancellation fee even though I was told cancellation fee would only be triggered if reservation changed on Open Table. Didn’t change reservation, managed to get 5 to dinner for booking of 6. One of our guests had a best friend just commit suicide the night before and understandably couldn’t make it. NOT GOING BACK EVER.

Was really looking forward to the food here as everything looked great on social media. Also an early birthday dinner with my mum, had made the trip up from Hobart. Firstly we got sat at the booth closest to the toilet door which was very odd positioning since all of the other tables were empty. Also meant anyone that used the toilet had to cosy up right next to me as they opened the door. Not pleasant when trying to eat a meal. Didn’t want to make a fuss, so stayed put. As for the meals themselves, our pasta came out cold/mildly warm. We ordered 2x pappardelle and one of the fusilli. Both had little flavour, no sauce whatsoever with the pappardelle. It simply tasted of plain pasta, with the odd piece of Parmesan/pancetta to give the slightest flavour. For the price and hype up of the pasta being made in house, my mum and I were disappointed with the cost and quality of that dish.
