Good first experience at Felina. Food was generally very good and the service from Bailey and crew was friendly, professional, and well paced. We will definitely return.
Good food, great service, lovely setting.
It is always enjoyable dining at a Landmark Hospitality venue.
Unbelievably expensive for what you get.
Top quality service and food. Great for date night and special occasions.
Busy and loud. Should be more seating around the bar for those patrons that just want a drink. Waitress was very accommodating.
This was our first time here but we will definitely go back. A bit pricey but with it.
A perfect place for a celebration dinner. A little pricey, but lovely atmosphere, delicious food and very good service.
Bar is always an active and fun seen. Food is great! Service has a lot to be desired. And the hostess could lose their attitude.
Been a few times and the food is very good.
I wish there were more specials!
The menu doesn’t change enough.
We’ll be back but I prefer not to eat the same dishes all the time. :(
The place it’s self is very nice, food was excellent BUT it is soooooo loud you can’t hear the other people in your party.
Will not go back until they sort out the noise issue, and I have heard this from lots of other people.
Overall an outstanding experience. The food was excellent. Our appetizers of grilled octopus and prosciutto and melon were delicious. Our entrees of braised short ribs and sea scallops were very good. The service was a little off even with more than one server involved and it being a Tuesday night and the restaurant was not a crowded place. We will be back as it is still a nice place to enjoy a really good meal.
Excellent food and efficient service. Noise level can hinder conversation during peak dining times. Attractive setting.
Food was very good but it was so loud and hard to hear the people we were sitting with.
The food and the service were excellent. I love the decor and the spaciousness. However, the noise level really detracts from the experience. It would be much better if there were some type of barrier between the bar and the dining area.
Overhyped. Not sure why people think this place is so special. Other than being one of only a few handful of Ridgewood spots with a bar there is very little to like about Felina. Big open space but it feels wasted and improperly utilized. Service was adequate but just adequate. No bread was brought out and our waiter got tied up and was somewhat inattentive. Ordered two of their drinks, one tequila and one gin drink, both were nice and at $14 each, priced normally. Menu is very limited which would make you think they knocked the dishes out of the park. They don't. The apps (octopus and burrata) were both good but nothing special. The entree pasta however are where the meal turned down. Clamshell pasta and the mushroom pasta both tasted like salt. We couldn't taste anything besides salt. Would never go back here and will be surprised if Felina survives more than another year. A shame as the location is great.
Busy friday night. CRAZY noise. Literally screaming to each other across the table. No sound absorption whatsoever in the restaurant. Food was delicious, but for purposes of relaxing and catching up, I would not go back. I may try a very early evening on a Mon or Tue, but not on a weekend. So disappointed.
Great food. High drink prices. Attentive staff. Loud music.
Interesting menu, a little different than most restaurants around here. Very noisy, so it's difficult to have a conversation. Attentive service.
Great food, wonderful service and all around great restaurant! We will definitely be back.
The space is
High quality and inventive food in a modern setting
Great service and food. We loved all the pastas. Nice bar and cocktails. A welcome addition to bergen county.
Nice trendy restaurant with awesome food and even better drinks
Interesting menu. Prices are high, for food and liquor. Very loud. Food was very good. Interesting décor.
Felina is amazing! Great food, great service! It's a beautiful space with a friendly atmposhpere.
Great food, very good seevice. Beautiful restaurant but WAY too noisy. Hard to have a conversation.
Felina is one of the best places I dine in in NJ/ the ambience, the food and drinks in addition to the service is always spot one- well done guys keep the outstanding levels up!
The decor and feel of the restaurant in pictures is that of a very relaxing, quiet, atmosphere contrary to what is experienced on a Friday night. The restaurant acoustics afford exceptional ambient noise to the point where I could barely hear the waiter, let along the conversation with a friend of mine sitting across from me.
I found the food to be tasty and the wait staff to be exceptional. I would recommend this restaurant for a fun friend get-together, but not a romantic date, just simply too loud.
Love this place. The black pepper pasta is amaze as is the meatball side which I usually get as an app
Food was just ok-not as good as the price tag, but the cocktails were very good! Try a whiskey sour! Atmosphere was also very nice.
Really enjoyed the restaurant ambience. Very NYC in the dining area. Foodies will love the ingredients the adventurous may find the menu challenging. Overall really enjoyed my experience and will be back.
Went for anniversary, the atmosphere was nice but the food was only ok and so overpriced!! I felt rushed by our waiter who said the kitchen wanted our entree put in at same time as appetizer, we had been in there 5 minutes and she was pushing for our order. Entrees don’t come with sides so you have no choice but to order sides even though entrees are at prices that should include. When I got my bill, I was pretty shocked, it felt like a waste. Will not be going again.
The place is cool and the food is great. The drinks from the bar were awful. I knew it wouldn’t be cheap but it was expensive.
Cool place but will not go back.
Great ambiance, service, and food was on par with New York City. Hard to find restaurants that have all of the above in this area. Great job!
It's a beautiful space, and very different compared with other restaurants in the area--it seemed more like Manhattan than Bergen County. Service was spotty; there was a revolving door of servers taking care of us, which was strange. The woman who took our order seemed to be in a big rush, while others seemed a little out of it. There were enough appealing-sounding items on the menu to make the decision of what to order interesting. I had duck, medium-rare, which was delicious with the sauces paired with it but the duck itself was a little tough. The scallops my wife ordered, which I sampled, were excellent and cooked perfectly. I've seen other people complain about the focaccia on the appetizer menu, but we both loved it. Dessert was also good, though that menu was a little more limited than the appetizer and entree menus. Overall, it was good enough that we'd try it again. That said, I kind of wonder how long they'll be in business. The rooftop bar would probably be a great summertime draw, but apparently won't open until the fall. (Huh?) We peaked into the catering space and it has a VERY long way to go before it's functional. So, they're only drawing revenue from a third of the space (or less, even) in a very high-price location.
Very restricted menu, not many options for drinks or food.
Snooty waiter, extremely loud
For anyone who enjoys an outstanding food experience, this is the place. Normally, high level establishments have a very stuffy atmosphere. This was comfortable and everything from walking in, to the wait staff, plus the food and presentation really made for a very enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend Felina and plan to return.
Outstanding meal for our wedding anniversary. Food was excellent. Octopus and Scallops cooked to perfection. Sunchoke chips were amazing and use of coffee crumbs in the Bison Tartare added wonderful flavour and texture to dish. Duck skin could have been crispier but flavour wise and the sides made for a great dish.
Desserts were very good.
Wine list for bottles seemed limited at the lower price range.
Excellent and friendly service. Wonderful and totaly unexpected when they served us each a glass of prosecco on the house shortly after we sat down.
We went at 6p on a Saturday night. Ambiance and noise level was perfect. However as our dinner progressed it got livelier and more energetic. By the time we left around 8p it was definitely broaderline noisy...great for a party of friends, less so for a 2 people if they were looking for a quiet meal
Wonderful time and will go back again.
