Happy Hour has some good deals. Got the summer drinks package and cocktails are alright. Good value.
Drinks were forgotten, brought out the wrong food. Staff seemed very uninterested. Overall a very ordinary experience.
Good food, good drinks and good vibes. Very enjoyable dinner.
Always a great place for a night out, or even a few good pre drinks 👌
We had a great time at the NYE party.
The package was value for money however the food was a bit of a let down and wasn’t bought our often until we were too drunk to want to eat it. This should have been served upon arrivals.
All in all I’d go back.
Such friendly staff and tasty, well priced food. Have eaten here numerous times before going to local theatre productions and have enjoyed the experience every time.
Friendly service and food was very good
Overall we had a good night - clearly understaffed -the food was good but arrived at the table late and cold - The staff were friendly and attentive when available
We booked in on Boxing Day for dinner at 8pm. We ordered some starters and drinks which were great. We went to order mains at 8:30 and the kitchen was closed. No one had told us when we arrived that it was closing at a specific time or we would have ordered our whole meal. We shrugged it off and decided to order another round of drinks and were told we had to finish by 9pm as they were closing. Again not informed this when we arrived or booked. The website just said “till late”. We booked the table, based on the details the restaurant put on open table for 90 Minutes so having our evening cut short by 30 minutes and not being able to order our mains or a dessert we left and ended up having 7Eleven Sausage rolls as we couldn’t get in anywhere else. Very upsetting
Good food, good service, but the venue is very loud and hard to chat.
It was very loud and the food was just okay. We won’t go here again. Only bonus was sitting outside on the balcony in fresh air.
Great outlook and friendly vibe for an early dinner on the terrace
So wonderful me and all my friends had a great time would definitely book again
Excellent service, loved the table and atmosphere outside as well as the distance between tables. Thanks for attending to our needs quickly!
Great Customer Service, food quality and taste was good. Order arrived on time, didn’t take too long. Good portion size and value for money, particularly the lunch deals.
When we walked in the waitress who seated us made it seem like such a hassle and was quite rude when asking if we had a booking. We also had to go find our own cutlery and napkins because no staff provided these. Lastly the tables were extremely sticky. I'll be back because the food was amazing but was disappointed by the service.
The venue was really loud and it was difficult to hear the person next to you
Mediocre service which is understandable given the current state of hospo. However the food was absolutely terrible payed 25 for the worst most meager burger I've ever eaten. Melbourne is the burger centre this is just embarrassing
I used to love this place as it's a bar and a restaurant but we found it was more like a nightclub this time around (we arrived at 7pm). Very hard to talk and not an atmosphere that made us want to stay for drinks beyond eating our meal. The meal also took a long time to come out so we were still eating it when our 1.5hr booking ended. The staff were able to extend the time though which was good of them
Had a booking worth over $800. Staff acted as if we were there for free and were unhappy the entire night. A few cocktails on the menu were unavailable which was a bit annoying considering we had paid for a bottomless cocktails booking. There was no smoking area available, which just meant there was nowhere for people to sit outside and take a breather. Were not allowed to leave our table (which also did not fit the amount of people we had booked for), unless for the bathroom or drinks. As soon as our booking ended - the staff immediately kicked us out. A few boys had said that their partners were in the toilet and they’d like to wait for them and they were told no and to leave immediately. Some girls came out and their belongings were left on an empty table as staff had forced everyone out who was looking after this during the time. Overall, will not be coming back and was a pretty disappointing first experience at Father’s Office. Girls bathroom was pretty at least.
Greeter was rude, one bowl of fries for 6 people and at 10:25 bartender didn’t serve us because booking was over which ended at 10:30 despite all I g to the bartender before the session ended. The generous 3 star was more for the company I had. Took forever to get drinks bar tenders basically throw them across the bar spilling half. Wouldn’t go again. Girl bartender was great the rest rude
Terrible. Misleading and horrendous website as well as poor customer service
They have a great happy hour and lovely snacks with an amazing view over the city.
Frozen cocktail was great and there was a good selection of basics to choose from.
When we went to fathers office, there was one person who was having long hair and moustache. He was very rude and arrogant. Accidentally we placed wrong order, very rudely he asked it’s not our job to fix this.
Also it was my birthday yesterday, when we asked him if we could cut a cake, he told us that we will charge 2.5$ per person. We told him that we haven’t heard anywhere and no one else charges money to cut the cake. Very arrogantly he told us I’m not making rules here company is go and talk to them.
His colleague MIKE on the other hand was very nice and decent person. Though we accidentally placed wrong order but he ensure we got food. He spoke to us very nicely. Your cafe is running due to MIKE only. You should be grateful that you’ve such a nice person in your team.
Arrogant and rude behaviour of that other person was totally unacceptable. We are the customers, if we’re paying money , atleast we should deserve respect also.
Service was poor, food was forgotten about and had to ask 3 times before it was remembered. Disappointing.
INCREDIBLE! This is one of those places which you will not forget about, and you absolutely must visit. The team is amazing, the food is incredible, the vibe is phenomenal. You gotta get to Father’s Office. You will not be disappointed.
Amazing! Bottomless brunch is so worth it. We all had a ball!
For what is in essense a so-so bar in a good location.. our entire table was asked to show physical identification ... a table of mid-30 year olds.
With only a 90 minute reservation (because they require fast turnover for optimising revenue and can use covid as a reason to keep customers on a short leash) it was dissapointing one of us had to walk 15 minutes back to their car and return before they could be let in.
I have a feeling it was not FO policy rather a dimwitted door keeper but it certainly put a blight on the start of our night and we were glad to leave it at the end of our very short time allocation given their menu is uninspiring and choice of beverages limited.
Used to love this place until I got given 2 cups for my beer that were stacked in to eachother and glass broke in my hands luckily only ended up cutting my foot but it was gashing out in blood I would love it if the workers used common sense as it could of ended worse
Super cool vibe, with really delicious food and drinks :)
Must try burgers with an amazing view from the rooftop bar only a stones throw from Melbourne Central. The female bathroom view is also something out of a movie.
Terrible service, the bottomless cocktails absolutely not worth it. Terrible all round dont go here
Horrible service. Definitely no value for money as we received 2 x small bowls of chips for 11 guests.
Bar staff were rude and overall vibe was off. Definitely won’t be going back.
Too noisy and filled with screaming drunk teenagers.
I found it loud, chaotic and with limited menu on offer (which didnt appeal). Staff are very attentive and very helpful. Stayed for drinks but cancelled our table and went elsewhere to eat.
Been here quite a few times and always liked it. Last time I went were 3 bartenders working, 2 were lovely, 1 was very curt and bordering rude and unfortunately we kept getting served by that one. Has now really put me off the place unfortunately, will only go again if someone has organised something for themselves otherwise won't return.
Lovely staff and great value bottomless drinks with free fries included!! Loved the outdoor area - comfortable and not too noisy in the afternoon. We loved soaking up the sun and had a great time catching up with friends here. Will be back!
Amazing and glad they’re back! Always a good experience overall. Kudos to the entire team working there
Awful - we purchased the bottomless cocktails due to them being advertised on their website with margaritas however when we ordered this they said it wasn’t included. Thankfully I had screen shots of this only week prior when we booked and the manager argued with us and then said he would let us get one round only as the screen shot could be from a year ago, after looking through their website managed to find it advertised again so showed the manager this who was extremely rude, he agreed to honour the margaritas however slammed them on the bench every time we were served. All the cocktails tasted awful anyway, premixed and tasted like horrible cordial - not worth the $55pp at all.
