Food was good but atmosphere was really bad. Advertised as a restaurant but felt like a nightclub for our 6.30pm dinner reservation. Drunk 18 year olds flooded the bathroom who then brought their yelling into the restaurant, ordering a round of tequila shots…the music was so loud we could barely hold a conversation (which felt inappropriate not only because of the time, but because there were only about four other tables of people eating dinner). We couldn’t wait to finish the food and get out of there, taking our business elsewhere.

We were served by a fabulous waiter who was fun, professional and looked after our party of four extremely well. The food was wonderful (the onion jam is delicious) and our orders came quickly. Highly recommend.

This place was a little disappointing after all the build up....having to book and only being given 90 minutes at the table, having to decide in advance about dining and drink options, having to reserve the booking with a credit card and then still having to reconfirm the booking a day before, left me thinking that this was going to be a great and much anticipated experience. Unfortunately it wasn't. The decor wasn't really 'Father's Office' set up as an entrance to a speakeasy. I have seen better decor at other venues which better gives this impression. We ordered our meal, entree and mains, only to have the mains arrive about 5 minutes after the entrees. This meant that we had to decide whether to finish our entrees while our mains went cold, eat hurriedly and not enjoy the food or leave half the entree to start on the mains before they got cold. Then, my medium steak was not only a well done one, but an overdone one...really dry....The waitress kindly replaced it with another one, which she said was meant for another table but that, as we had ordered first, I could have it. That was kind but it meant that I didn't get the sauce I had chosen. I was really looking forward to a night celebrating my husband's birthday (which was asked about when I booked but not acknowledged on the day) but the place just didn't live up to what it promised. I'm not usually negative in reviews but our visit really wasn't enjoyable, especially for a birthday dinner.

Extremely dissapointed with our recent experience the app is $3-4 more expensive than their online menu through the Fathers Office website for the Parma night meals. When I went to try and speak to the bar staff it took 15 minutes to get served, then when I asked about the price difference and I could order directly through the bar instead the male server looked at me like I was asking something extremely difficult. He said let me come back, he walked away for a few minutes came back asked again what I wanted, then proceeded to run what look like a till check and printed a load of receipts that took another 5 minutes. By this point we had been there 30 minutes not been able to order so we said don't worry and walked out. We used to go a lot before covid the place was fantastic for a dinner after work, but it has gone massively downhill. We were seated in the bar right next to the window and I could smell smoke coming into the bar. Why don't you use the restaurant anymore it used to be packed with dinners. It seems the focus now is just cheap drinks and not about the food anymore. We won't be going back and will tell everyone we know how downhill it has gone, such a shame.

Prices were for some reason $3-$4 more than the most up to date menus published online - even the specials! Food average but acceptable :) Very lively venue which we knew already, but hence had booked a dining table so we could be away from the noise. It’s hard to have a conversation here without practically shouting the whole time if you get seated in the bar area, which we were - so not at all recommended for a proper catchup. Super convenient location though, and a really popular place for after work chills!

I booked the unlimited cocktails package. Very strict with the amount of drinks you have and you have to go up to the bar which kind of ruins the experience. You spend so much time waiting to be served and then you have to go back to your seat, drink, and then go up to the bar again. By the time you do all this you only end up having a few drinks within the set time frame. They also make you wear wrist bands and are very strict about this too. It's a very young crowd too, mostly 18-19 year olds. The balcony is really nice though and it was lovely sitting out there under the city lights. Just wish it was table service like it usually is during the day with the QR codes. Would be heaps better!

I had the buttermilk chicken burger - disappointed- small chicken tender sized piece of chicken, not much filling - Rustica much bigger, flavoursome, & much better value. Meals for the table were cooked with quite a gap - 2 of us had finished before the last person got her order. Too noisy to talk. Wont b back for dinner

We were a table of 2 for dinner. I had the fish and chips and would have it again. The service was very slow. It was an average experience and I had also booked a table for 5 for the 23/4/21 so they would have a second chance to improve things.

Absolutely fuming with this place, we got the bottomless drinks package and it was an absolute scam to say the least. Would never recommend to anyone to go here, there was a mouse crawling up from the booth seat and running toward us, when we told the bar tender he basically just shrugged his shoulders and told us there was nothing that could be done. Not even an offer to move us to another section? The bartender had a terrible attitude each time we had to order drinks, none of the drinks even tasted like there was any alcohol in them. No one came to tidy up our table we had stacks of cups and things, at the end we spoke to the manager and just basically was told there was nothing that could be done about the mouse and he did apologise. Very upset with this place, I should’ve asked for a refund because we left early and I felt absolutely scammed of my money.

There was only 2 downsides one being that you often stay in line some of your session time meaning you get less time to drink. Lastly they blocked off the smoking area for my session.

It was very rushed service right from the time we entered the door after waiting in a line that we didn’t know we had to wait in until I asked
I’m not sure if it’s because of covid but I really wasn’t into the ordering through a website to me that’s extremely odd

The food was a very small serve and was cold when we got it
And we had to ask for our drinks as they took a long time to be made and like others have said the drinks were very weak

I definitely won’t be heading back there

Disappointing. Used to be fab with a great atmosphere, cheap and great dietary options. Post - COVID it is sub par. QR code entry difficult, online menu ordering barely functional. Waitstaff weren’t able to identify a low alcohol beer and advise that on line menu didn’t include all that was available - why not? Embarrassed to have brought people here. Poor service (bar man was an exception), food average, service was so bad that it didn’t warrant leaving a tip. Don’t bother - there are many better options. Will not return and will tell all friends and business associates that this is no longer on the list.

Bottomless cocktails were all very weak, classic negroni was weak..... which makes no sense if you think about what a "classic" negroni is (its .... 3 liquors..... why was it carbonated? That is not a classic negroni at all) ..... AND the bartender was incredibly condescending and insulted my friend. Bottomless event was mediocre at best, but for $45 you'd expect nothing less than wartered down cocktails, rude service, and rules that make no sense/seemed to be made up as they went along.

The menu says that the vegan burger is made on a gluten free dairy free bun, however, that is not the case. It should not be in the description on the menu if the gluten free bun is only an option. Lucky I realised before eating it. I had to take it back and when it came back the food was cold.

I've ate and drank here for many years and this time was disappointing. I think it must have changed owners, the vibe was very different. The 4 of us ordered starters and mains and they all arrived together. We ordered cocktails and they were very average for $19 each. Not at all like the photos and very small in size. DJ was playing so couldn't have a chat in restaurant too loud. Good place if you are 20 now but not as classy as it use to be unfortunately.

Booked in for dinner for 4 people. Had to wait to be seated no one else in the restaurant. Meet by staff shown a table over next to stairway told order drinks and food from app on table top and the staff member walked away. Menu was poor and we weren’t sure of the drinks. Tried to get the attention of a staff member who was washing down the front of the bar. At 7.00 at night. Maybe for COVID but not sure. Finally he can over 2 people standing behind bar doing what??
Asked him a question about adding to food and was told he didn’t know. In disgust we left never will return. It was such a great place before COVID. No a numbers game. Understand with Covid but you have to be joking

Well we took the 45 $ open bar brunch at 9:00 pm last Saturday which lasted 1.30hours and it was just all over the place. We thought we would be sitting down and someone would get us drinks, but it wasn’t the case. It’s a fight for all to get a drink at bar with 70+ ( mostly young adults) and most cases we noticed that the barman serving drinks cheats from giving you a full shot of 30ml but instead gives you from the other end when they pour the shot which is a about 10ml . You are also only allowed one drink at a time and then you have que up again which will take you at least 15mins each time . It’s great if you are a teenager but it is questionable if it’s worth the 45$.

Really lovely staff (so no fault of their own, they tried their hardest) , although when you spend 60 minutes of the 90 minutes in a cue to get you’re bottomless drinks - it does not feel worth the money! you are away from your friends and it ruins the fun quite a lot!
