Fathers Office Ratings and Reviews
TOO, TOO noisy. I'd say it was unbearably loud. I can be loud at times, but this was ridiculous. If I had realised the bar was so close to the dining area, I'd have gone elsewhere. Yes, it was a Saturday night, but the level of noise is exacerbated greatly by the close proximity of the bar to the dining area. It's certainly not s place I'd recommend if you're interested in conversation over a meal.
The ability to split bills was great!
A small group of friends joined me to help me celebrate my birthday at Fathers Office for dinner and drinks. It was nearly all of our first time being there and we didnt know what to expect. But we found we had a great night in a great atmosphere with good service, good food and awesome Happy hour till 10pm setting us up nicely for the rest of our night. Thank you Fathers Office 😁
It was hard to get the attention of the waiters, couldn't get the attention in time so we missed the happy hour prices because of it.
One person in our group got their food 30 minutes before the rest of us and had finished before we got the rest. Then two of the orders were wrong and had to be sent back, then returned a while later all cold. The burger was fried black and super dry, the steak was over done.
I would not recommend to go here and eat.
Got told after buying two drinks during happy hour (to have over dinner) we could have no more due to RSA laws. Drinks order was screwed up and tasted like bad cough medicine. Hadnt been predrinking, hadnt been loud and was pretty appalled with how we were spoken too. It was my best friend and i going out for dinner to chat about wedding planning. Hardly a Rowdy night! Then we were kicked out of our table within 35 mins of sitting down because they had double booked! Our food was subpar at best and tasted like it was reheated in the microwave. So so disappointed and wont be going back! would no recommend at ALL!
We had a team lunch at Father's Office to farewell a colleague. The service was top notch and the food was delicious and generous. We all had a lovely time and given that we had a mix of people's food preferences: vegetarian, gluten free, meat lovers...Father's Office was a great choice, plus reasonably priced too!
Service from our male waiter was great, he told us his name, but can't remember.
The bar area was too loud, we were seated in the restaurant area, but we were the people in there. It felt like they hadn't turned the heating on in this area, so we Sat there cold.
The worst part of the evening was the end. We had 2 entertainment book vouchers, the staff consulted the manager on the phone and came back and said they'd only accept 1when we can use up to 3. Some of us paid cash and 1 wished to pay on card. This proved too hard for the staff.
Would not recommend this place.
Food was good, but music can be turned down a notch (or three), we had to yell at each other the whole time just to hear one another. Service was good, but before we left we were told we owed money...after looking at the bill properly, we were charged for two alcoholic drinks that we hadn't ordered. Dampener.
We arrived and were seated at a table beside the door to the smoking area. It was freezing and we could smell smoke. I couldn't take my ciat and scarf off it was that cold. I went to staff and was told sure the heat is on. I said we'd like to be moved to another table. They said they wete fully booke but would try. 15 minutes went by and we were getting thirsy nobody gave us a drinks menu. So my boyfriend went to the bar and was told no it's table service. Then a manager came over and gave us another table closer to the middle of the restaurant. Thankfully warm enough to eventually take my coat off. We finally got a drink 40 mins after arriving. Ordered the food, 3 out of 4 of us were happy with our dishes but My friend who ordered the tacos was very disappointed with the stale tasteless offering with guacamole that was gone brown. And the caramel "Nutella" tart I ordered no way resembled Nutella..It was really bland cheap chocolate. Thoughtout the night the service was bad. Only managed to get 2 drinks with our meals so we were very happy to go elsewhere to continue our night out with good friends.
When the website advertises All You Can Eat Tacos, you expect that they will serve you All You Can Eat Tacos. Why have a link for "book for All You Can Eat Tacos" on your website when you're not going to honour your own deals. Shame on Father's Office for being liars.
