Terrible service. Was sitting outside for 20 minutes in 93 degree weather and had to walk inside to ask for someone to bring us some water. Waiter eventually came but seemed frazzled. Food was ok- although there was an unidentifiable object in my fish taco. Can’t believe I wasted $40 on lunch here. Never again!!!

We dined indoors with social distancing requirements in place. We were seated at a table for two right by the door but for some reason, it was warm. So much so, that I would fan my date and he would fan me. Whew.
Anyway, we were greeted by Ed, who identified himself as a manager, and said that our server would be someone named China. We actually placed our orders through Ed and after our food came out we finally met our server.
The food was great! I ordered the kale salad which was absolutely delicious! He ordered the crab dip which was amazing as it comes with freshly baked bread! We almost did not have room for our entrées! I ordered the fish tacos that were amazing! He ordered the spicy fried chicken and cleaned his plate! Need I say more?
Overall the experience was five stars, mainly due to my date being so awesome as well as yummy food and great service – excellent service - from Ed!
Love the view and scenery !!! The drinks were amazing!!!!! Food was mediocre! I will go back for brunch!
I don’t think they should seat ppl off their patio, I get needing more space but it was sooooo hot we didn’t even continue dining bc it was unbearable

Overall, it's a really good restaurant, my dish was phenomenal, the drinks were amazing. But for some reason, they didn't have a lobster dish :(
Unfortunately this was not the best visit. We have eaten at this restaurant in the past with much better results. On this occasion, Our server was not attentive. We had to ask several times about refills on our drinks. One of our orders was not prepared correctly and although the restaurant re-prepared the dish it was not served until everyone else at the table was finished with their meal. No compensation was offered for this mistake. Another member of our party did not receive her entire order and the server simply kept forgetting to get it. Finally, every member of our party became sick after the meal.

The AC was not working, server was not attentive, requested condiments came out long after meal, just an overall “barely ok” experience. No plans to return.
Always a great meal with fantastic staff. Also learned they have been providing their staff members Family meals for those who could not work when the restaurant was down do Covid. Just awesome!

As has always been my experience, the food and service was outstanding. Loved still being able to enjoy their deliciously hardy buffet with the new safety measures they've implemented both in seating as well as the buffet itself. I'm really not a buffet person so the extra measures with even less people hovering over the food, is something I'd love for them to keep even when COVID is finally gone.
The waiter never showed up. The “ bus boy “ took our order . He was really nice. The food wasn’t cook with seasoning

The service was poor and slow and the food was like warm. They also didn’t have the right order for half of our group.
Food was divine, but the service was subpar for such an expensive dinner (our tab was $150 for 3 ppl). The waitress too a long time to clean the table, refresh the water, and my girlfriend didn’t get her drink until after the meal. Also, when the dessert came out, there wasn’t enough plates to share as we requested. This used to be our favorite place, but it seems to be going down due to COVID.

I love it , food was great service was excellent I would highly recommend this.
Our server was great, however our food was undercooked, the order did not come out as it was supposed to (e.g. substitute green beans for spinach and still received green beans), the drinks came after we ate and the outdoor seating space is not fully covered making it almost unbearable. The manager was polite and took items off the check, but the overall experience was not pleasant and it’s unlikely I will be back anytime soon .

I was really looking forward to enjoying a fine meal at the well-reviewed FFB, my 1st trip, was 2 stars tops. I believe in 2nd chances. After being seated its about 19 minutes before anyone even approaches us. The 1st employee brings us water, after a bit (longer than it should have been, a 2nd asks if we had any questions about the menu, (no talk of the catch of the day or specials) there was some back and forth followed by an awkward silence. I finally ask, do you want us to order? He replies yes, I asked if we could order drinks first? An Arnold Palmer, it was ok and a lemonade, which was fabulous, (there's your highlight of the event) were selected. We choose the BBF Tuna and the Cedar Biscuits (thank god we got those), as an app to share, sushi grade tuna and a dinner salad with salmon as the entrees. About 10 minutes later a 3rd employee brings us the drinks. Shortly followed by a 4th to tell us the BBF Tuna is out and would we like to order another. No menu with him, so we wing it and go with another tuna app. The app shows up by a 5th employee and it was hardly worth the price nor large enough to share. We continue to sit there for a total of about 45 minutes before our dinner arrives. Meanwhile, we have run out of water, AP and lemonade, the biscuits are a distance memory. About 7 minutes prior to our entree arriving I mention, how much do you want to bet our dinner is sitting under a heat lamp in the kitchen? The bet is refused, a good thing because it wasn't sitting under a heat lamp. The entree' arrives by a 6th employee who is obviously rushed and discombobulated, the presentation was acceptable but we weren't there for the aesthetics. Tuna, lackluster, cold in the center and barely warm on the edges. The leafy part of the dinner salad, wilted, apple slices soggy and salmon, over cooked. Neither were pleasant to the palate. There's more to share but I'm sure you get the point. One hour and 45 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

Food was good, not extraordinary but good, menu extensive and drinks fun. Waiter -nice guy-forgot silverware, forgot water, twice came with the wrong drink (was for another table).

It was our 25th anniversary, we came in for lunch. Our waitress was AMAZING and she recommended the best food items on the menu! She was outstanding and that made our food even better!

Even under COVID-19 capacity restrictions, the food and service was excellent.
I took my parents that came from out of town, and they loved it! The food was fresh and served hot. The server was visible and always stayed attentive(Max 😊). I will definitely be coming back.

The service was extremely slow, and we felt like we been asking too much. My tuna came out cold but my dad's salmon was great hot and delicious. I was happy that he was able to enjoy it.

The buffet is amazing. They bring you food instead of you picking it up yourself. Arrive earlierthan 2pm because after 3 they were running out of things.
Our first visit to Fisher Baker's. Very disappointed.
Why wasn't the brunch buffet listed on the website as the only option?
Service was very poor.
1) Coffee order didn't show up until 3 requests.
2) Bread rolls never showed up.
3) Champagne did not show up until 3 requests.
4) My date's entree did not show up until we were ready to leave (90 minutes after we arrived).
5) All you can eat was not really an option since we only saw our waiter every 30 minutes!
I know COVID is a challenge, but c'mon guys! If you can't provide real service, then don't open yet!
Hi John: I'm so sorry the menus online were misunderstood, and to answer your question: the menus are titled “weekday breakfast” & “weekend brunch” to hopefully avoid confusion, as well as available info on our buffet brunch in our FAQs online. This said, I very much apologize for the disappointments with the service that took place and feel badly this experience was far from enjoyable for both you & your date. We were seated a bit late after our reservation and had to flag down our server a lot but nothing that ruined the environment. I'd chalk it up to corona virus (limited staff and tables) because usually it's awesome!
Came in to dc from out of down during the months of the pandemic. Reserved a table here and had my curtsy normal dining experience in months. Cocktails were great and handmade pasta was delicious.
Love the virtual buffet. Great concept. Well thought. Will for sure go back. Delicious coffee.
I was surprised that no one seating us, taking our order or delivering food was wearing gloves. I probably won't go back during the virus until that is corrected!
Food/drink were great and servers were friendly, but horrible management and hosting system. Was seated outside in the rain when inside table was requested at 6pm. Watched as 6:30 reservations were then seated inside while we ran for cover in the middle of our appetizer as we were down poured on. No apologies or accommodation from the management and we were reseated at our wet table after the rain had passed.

Booking a time to eat was fast and easy, the manager greeted me and told me about the specials and history of the restaurant. Next the waiter took my order and brought my food within 10 min, and checked on me multiple times. The food was like no other, I’ve never been so satisfied by food in a while. I will refer a lot of people to this place!

Absolutely wonderful food, excellent service and great location
Should spice up the outdoor space, make it a bit prettier. Provide bigger tables and locate the tables better. Host who was cleaning tables was not the friendliest but our waiters were friendly, very. Hamburger was a bit dry, things were a bit overcooked.
