I visited in May and was so impressed. I visited again yesterday, was still impressed however the only fault was the meat (sharing menu). I found it was over cooked and not juicy but still tender.
Would still return but thought I’d give feedback considering when I visited in May the meat was to die for and cooked perfectly.
Really enjoyed our visit to Farm Vigano. Food was delicious and the service was great. Look forward to going in the warmer months and sitting outside.
The food at Farm Vigano is incredible, such a high standard. My family has high expectations of food and it surpassed them for such a good price.
The restaurant is very family friendly, lots of kids, the noise level is quite high when it’s busy, the wait staff were absolutely fantastic, very polite, professional and helpful.
As much as our dining experience was phenomenal, I am a little disappointed that I noted on the booking that we were celebrating a special occasion and this was not recognized at all. What's the point in being asked if it is a special occasion if nothing is going to be done with this information? Little annoyed as I was hopping that we might be given a complimentary dessert to share, or glasses of sparkling.
We had out grandchildren with us and we felt the kids menu was limited. A spaghetti Bolognese could have been and ideal kids extra meal along with some plain vanilla ice cream for them.
our food was generally good but serving too large.
The place is beautiful the service was great. But I was a little diappointed with some of our main dishes. Pizza was great. My pasta was under cooked. The basil and chili pasta dish was inedible to much basil and chill so overpowering.
My partners birthday. He had never been before but he enjoyed everything about Farm Viganò.
We ordered the shared banquet which was wonderful! Delicious and plenty of food!
The restaurant is pretty however the noise level was terrible and we were unable to hear people 2 seats away and meant the ambiance of the place changed. I would suggest looking into sound proofing.
We were given outdated menus so our bill came to a bit of a shock as everything had gone up in price. This then decreased my sense of value for money as bottles of wine had jumped up $10each - why such a steep price increase???
Overall it was lovely though.
Food is always of a high quality here. The meat dishes (lamb shoulder and porchetta need a bit of freshness because they are quite heavy, recommend sharing this dishes). Desserts were good (would recommend sharing the tiramisu between 3-4 people, would also prefer it to be in a higher dish and have layers). Service felt poor at the start (had to wait to be noticed, had to wait to get menus and wait to order even though it was a Sunday night and there was only 4 other tables). Overall a nice experience.
I have been to Farm Vigano in the past and enjoyed it. This time I was disappointed for various reasons. 1: I ordered the lamb shoulder, it came with no vegetables or salad, just a plate of meat, since when did a main not come wiyjout salad or veges. Others ordered crab spaghetti containing 2 pieces of crab
2: I did order a plate of potatos for the table, unfortunately oversalted
3: After my meal when we had been given dessert menus it was 40 mins before I got the attention of the waitress to say we were waiting to order coffee
4: Too many people crammed in that you couldn't move between tables, to go to the toilet or leave you have to consider the best route to take.
5: Noise level so loud you can only hear the person next to you by leaning in, forget the person across the table. Such a shame, would I go again - no. Leaves a lasting impression
The food never disappoints and our waiter was provided excellent service. The arancini were definitely something we order again. Looking to book a family function there
Wonderful find. Very Italian and the food was superb. Impeccable service too. I can imagine a big family get together there ‘Italian style’. Will be returning soon.
We love going to Farm Vigano excellent food and amazing atmosphere. It feels like we transport to Italy when we step through the doors. Staff are amazing as well! Authentic Italian through and through.
Food was amazing and plenty of it(we had shared platter), service was perfect. Will be back again
Excellent food at reasonable prices in a lovely setting. Service is exemplary. The pizzas are simple, but very tasty with crusts cooked to perfection. Although the footpath from the car park is well lit at night, there was small pothole that could be a hazard.
An elegant restaurant with amazing views and ambience. The service is attentive and the food above average. I have been many times and on my last visit took guests who had previously not known of the restaurant and who left suitably impressed.
What a fabulous place to lunch! The setting is gorgeous! The food was fabulous and the service was excellent! Highly recommend for that special lunch or dinner!
Have been before and was ok. This time we didn’t really have the best night. No one there is really accomodating. I explained to one of the ladies when I confirmed the booking that my husband was a coeliac and she ok no problems, thanks for letting us know, when we arrived I had told them again. My husband went to order and they said well we can’t do much, we can do pizzas gluten free but they are cooked with the others and not on a tray! Well I said that’s not gluten free then!
Everything is cooked in deep fryers so u can’t have calamari. So we asked if they could pan fry, they were thrown in a pan with some oil and dishes out! No effort made... should advertise you have a gluten free menu if you don’t accomodate
Disappointing value for money. Never had before a porchetta that looks and taste as boiler pork. Italian cuisine is something else.
Love Farm Vigano. The views are beautiful and the outdoor area is looking great for summer. The food is always excellent.
My friend recommended Farm Vigano to me as her Brother had his marriage celebration there a few weeks ago. I took my partner here for our anniversary lunch and we loved the place. I could not fault the hospitality, amazing food and value for money. We will definitely be back.
Excellent menu, great staff. Already looking forward to heading back!
Lovely night, we will be back for more family dinners.
Great food!!! Great service and great atmosphere.... very happy have visited many of times and will continue to do so for our special nights
The food was absolutely amazing but the service was outstanding! Thank you to the staff for being so kind to my children, their meals and drinks came out very quickly (as did the shared menu, delicious!) chatting to them and making them feel included in a special family dinner for my daughters holy communion. Just about to rebook for date night so we can enjoy the experience sans the four kids and be even more impressed haha
Great sevice great food and will be getting married in November there:))
Love this place. Always leave satisfied. Beautiful wine beautiful food
The overall experience was OK. I was not happy with the table they have chosen for me, even though I went to the place before to see it and I love it, but the manager told me that I cannot choose the table. Well went with two kids a child and a toddler and I was given the table in front of the screen, I would rather preferred something more private and not exposed to everybody there. Like a corner or close to the wall but not in the middle. I have asked to change it but with NO luck. The place is beautiful, the food not that good, except for the pizzas and to my knowledge, the menu did not have many choices, chicken was not there and salmon either.
Whilst the setting is very good, the menu is a bit limited and it is too expensive for what you get.
Have been there quite a few times. As always we enjoy the welcoming hospitality , great ambience and prompt service. The food is amazing , but we settle for a pizza each.
Fabulous venue, attentive friendly service. We all had a lovely relaxed evening. Food was generous and delicious.
Great service food and wine - was a little noisy considering there weren’t many people in there
There was a party outside and the children at the party (10 or so girls ranging from 4 through to 11 or 12) kept coming through to the inside and bumping into other guests, but obviously, that wasn't something the restaurant could control. The food was delicious and my mother, grandmother and I were thoroughly impressed with it and the view. We only saw the waitress when we were seated at the table and when she ordered our food, and she was quite cold. Another waitress was lovely and saw to all our needs once our order had been taken, including helping us with dessert.
Whilst this isn't a place to get a cheap meal, this venue is well worth a visit, and I would go back. On the whole, I felt that drink prices were on the high side as well as the prices of certain dishes, nearly $300 for 5 of us.
In my opinion, our waitress wasn't familiar with portion sizes, therefore unable to explain that the lamb shoulder is quite a big serving and best shared with someone else and a selection of sides. On the menu they have a 'sharing menu' @$55 per head on offer which is a selection of different dishes planned to be shared between people. The menu failed to state that everyone on the table must order the sharing menu to be able to order it. Our group was 5 people, made up of 3 adults and 2 children, the 3 adults wanted the sharing menu, which our waitress said that unless the whole table had the sharing menu it was not on offer.
A small niggle, but worth noting that unless you prefer soy or full cream milk, don't order a coffee. No skim / low fat milk option.
Again, a couple of minor issues, but overall a restaurant I would be likely to return to.
The food and venue was outstanding. Defintely value for money, however the clear lack of enthusiasm and desire to be there exhibited by the wait staff did ruin the experience.
Delicious food, excellent service with an amazing view. Highly recommend!!
Beautiful Staff and food, our waitress was amazing ,beautiful scenery and very clean throughout the hole restaurant
We have been to Farm Vigano several times with friends & without exception our friends have praised the venue & the food.
I love the view from this place, come back for the view.
The food was very low choice, service was unprofessional (she did try) the management was rude.
I use to come here for the food also and wonderful friendly Italian hospitality and food!!
THE VIEW IS THE ONLY GOOD THING THERE.
This is my 5th visit to Farm Vigano and it is always a great experience. This time we took overseas guests and they also enjoyed the lovely food, scenery and atmosphere. All staff friendly and provided great service. Look forward to our next visit. Thankyou.
