Ezard offers Asian Fusion as interpreted by the award winning chef Teage Ezard in a modern atmosphere. Come with a partner or a small group of friends to the basement restaurant and start out with a Japanese-inspired oyster shooter or some steamed scallop dumplings. The low-light setting at Ezard creates an intimate ambience where you and your partner can enjoy good conversation as well as an enjoyable main dish such as the Chinese style duck breast or the corn fed chicken served with steamed dumplings. Finish off the meal with an unforgettable dessert like the caramelized white chocolate parfait with strawberries, coconut nougatine and champagne or the dark chocolate sphere with chocolate cream, toasted coconut, passionfruit curd and kaffir lime ice cream.

Ezard offers a three-course fixed price menu on Friday and Saturday nights. Let the chef decide your meal as you sit back and enjoy dinner and dessert.

impress a girl or make a client feel special..either way make sure they like meat
worth the money..I guess...but not cheap
it is definitely good so don't winge too much about the price

Exceptional service paired with a Japanese inspired menu. Enjoyed our entrees of dumplings and cured swordfish as well as fabulous wasabi oyster shooters. Mains were hit and miss. The crispy skinned barramundi was perfection on a plate however the Asian duck was a let down. Skin should have been crispy and generally lacked depth of flavour. Mains accompanied by excellent sides of potatoes and Asian greens. Ordered the desert sampling platter which was visually appealing but underwhelming.

Wonderful food, but very slow service. Perhaps the waiters weee overrun. We were happy to sit and enjoy the food slowly but we were served one cocktail before entree and no one came to ask if we wanted another beverage until he end of main. Even after I asked for the wine list! For a two hatted restaurant patrons shouldn't be left with empty glasses for over an hour! Food was brilliant, especially loved the dessert plate

The very attentive wait staff explained each dish in your Tasting Menu and that included a separate story for my vegetarian dining companion. And on that subject her dishes were just as interesting and varied as mine. Initially daunted by the prospect of eight courses we were pleased to see suitably small servings and made it all the way through - my vegie friend just nearly!

8 course taster menu, whilst it contained a couple of interesting dishes was mostly average and far from exceptional given the price. The service was poor: slow and laboured. We waited over half an hour for the food menus to begin with then there were achingly lengthy wait times between courses (average 22mins!) despite the restaurant not being particularly busy and everyone around us having the same tasting menu option. We entered at 8pm and left at 11:45pm, tired and disappointed.

Service was excellent and the ambience was relaxed and intimate. The food was ok. For entree I had the risoni which didn't have depth of flavor. My husband had the pork belly which he said was delicious. We both had a fish dish for our mains which were fair. For the price I expected more flavor. We shared a dessert tasting plate which was pretty good. The chocolate and coconut dessert was my favorite. So overall, for the price, the flavours did not pop.

Sorry: but this is over priced: the main chicken dish was disappointing: my own roast chicken has more flavor

I'm 37 weeks pregnant & my partner & I recently experienced the 4 course pre theatre dinner menu. We were extremely disappointed with the lack of care taken to serve up pregnancy friendly food. The 1st course (raw fish) was substituted upon request, the 2nd course was fine to eat, the 3rd course was duck (under cooked for a pregnant person) and the 4th course had mousse (which contains raw egg). I had noted my pregnancy on the booking, the waiter acknowledged it but it didn't serm to matter.

We thoroughly enjoyed the degustation menu at Ezard. The food was of a high quality - excellent flavor and texture. We also enjoyed the paired beverages that came with the courses they were perfect. The staff were very attentive to our table and professional, in their knowledge of the courses. The only minor drawback is we sometimes could not hear the description from the male waiters (lower voices) as the restaurant was quite noisy at some points of the evening (with other guests). Thank you.

After spending $245 on one bottle of wine it would have been very nice if not necessary to be thanked for our patronage. Where are people's manners? A poor experience which we do not intend to repeat. I cannot tolerate rude and impolite people, much less those being paid in a restaurant to be pleasant.

Fantastic dinner for my partners Birthday dinner. Was seated promptly and looked after. Was a cold evening outside and inside was nice and warm. We decided on tasting menu and was not disappointed. We didn't feel hungry after and on the other hand wasn't given portions so big we couldn't finish them. Ambiance and atmosphere was as expected in a high end restaurant.

I really enjoyed Ezard. Their food was delicious, they did very well with fusing asian and australian together. The service was good, however we ordered the degustation menu which was absolutely fantastic but we were at the restaurant for over 3 hours...that was my only negative. otherwise i highly recommend the experience at Ezard

Delicious high-quality food at a wonderful location. Ezard truly have a wonderful restaurant. Every step of our journey was wonderful, from start to finish. The food was delicious, the wine list was impressive, the service staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and there were lots of lovely surprises throughout the night. The interior design was very thoughtful and whilst there were many others dining, the noise level was low. I would definitely visit Ezard again. Thank you.

First and main was very good
The sweet was dull and boring
The quince on plate looked lifeless

It's been a while since we had been to Ezard's - a pity because last night was an outstanding experience. The food was inventive and of excellent quality. The service was both unobtrusive and of a very high standard. We will definitely be going back.
