Worth the price. The good is excellent and prepared by master chef Yoshiara-San.
We ordered from Dine LA menu. The appetizer was good, my husband had the prime rib - excellent, my salmon was okay, but lack of flavor, the dessert saved it all for me as both the cheese cake and the chocolate cake were excellent. The service was great as well. So, I recommend this restaurant, but stay away from the salmon!

Sunday night was very quiet, so we had excellent service and could hear each other speak.
We have eaten at Estate at lease six times over the past year. Each time does not disappoint. The service is outstanding. We usually bring our own wine and offer to share a taste with our server. This time, our server, Jeffery, offered insights of his own concerning out wine, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The menu always has some specials and the price for the meal, while not inexpensive, is an excellent value. Estate is our "go to" restaurant when we want an excellent meal.

A lot of thought went into the ambiance & decor, we really liked the different seating groups, cozy tables for 2, plus larger tables for 14 in the upper level...We shared a fantastic salad, the grilled salmon over (pasta w/green beans) was somewhat tasteless, but the salmon cooked very well,
the branzino was good, kind of a small serving, but perhaps it’s just a small fish? Overall tasty food, our waiter was low on personality, he warmed up a bit, but it took quite some time for our empty plates to be removed, he seemed to disappear for a while...it’s always nice when the waiter has a more relaxed way of being, but he didn’t , oh well!!

As usual the food made by master chef Yoshiara San was awesome. We shared New Zealand lamb chops and a filet mignon with an ahi tuna taco appetizer. Drinks were great too.

To be perfectly honest, our server seemed more concerned with upselling than actually making sure we were enjoying ourselves.
Food was good but all round service was just ok. Waitress was sweet.
Over all, servers/bus people could do a better job of pacing courses and offering fresh plates/utensils when multiple courses are served.
That said, everything was delicious.
Cauliflower appetizer is a must along with mushroom special. The fish dishes are superb as is the lamb. Third visit and all equally great.
We loved the vibe, decor, food and service here. We were celebrating a special occasion and they didn't disappoint. The Ahi tacos, mushrooms and pad Thai were all great appetizers, not heavy, greasy or overcooked, and the miso Cod, Paella and lobster fettuccine were all terrific as well. Big, perfectly done scallops on the paella, and the fettuccine was so delicious. Waiters were attentive but not overbearing. Noise level was a bit higher than we expected, but still able to hear each other. Try the flour less chocolate cake for dessert!

Our whole experience at Estate was fabulous. Our black cod was cooked to perfection and the shiitake mushrooms with our meal, superb. There were so many great vegetable dishes to choose from. The only dish that I thought was over done was the eggplant. There simply was too much sauce on them and it took away from the dish (I love eggplants). I also thought that the wines by the glass were overpriced but I guess that is the case for most LA restaurants.

All four of us enjoyed the food immensely--sea bass, paella, branzino, etc. Awesome cocktails. Cool and thoughtful decor. Loved the lighting. Great service. Highly recommend.

We were a party of three coming all the way from San Diego for the weekend. Excellent service, super cozy with great light and interiors. I believe the interiors and light is a big deal breaker for a good dinner experience. We read good reviews about the food so we picked this place. We tried the flatbread, the lamb chops and the file. Everything was absolutely amazing! The sauce that was served with the lamp chops was something else, absolutely delicious! Oh, and also great, creative drinks. I have nothing bad to say. We didn't feel rushed or anything either. A great Saturday evening dinner experience. Highly, highly recommend! I wish I remember the name of our server, he was very pleasant and friendly. Tank you!

This is a special birthday celebration for a good friend who hates having his birthday celebrated! So we always go out to have a really good meal and usually at someplace new. Neither of us had been here before and we were excited to try to menu we read online. The waiter was just the right amount of attentive and the food was outstanding. We are both foodies and very picky about our meal when we go out. Nothing disappointed. The shrimp appetizer was delicious and not too filling. I had the lamb chops-just the right color of pink. he had the pork chop- meaty and delicious. I had the Fuji apple dessert- divine! The room is nice and relaxed, I had a very comfy banquette. We has a simply lovely time and I urge you to try it yourselves.

It was our first time there. We were celebrating an anniversary. From the greeting we received at the reception desk (Brian), to a first-rate server (Jonathan) through to a delicious dessert in honor of our anniversary, we were treated royally and enjoyed our dinner there very much. A superb mixed mushrooms special as an appetizer; excellent brussels sprouts with sweet potatoes. First-rate branzino served whole in a pan. A definite recommend.
