Brunch is great! We were on the later end and we had to wait quite a while for our sweets. It would have been nice if wait staff said the chef is working on your last course so we didn’t feel forgotten. Still this is a great brunch. This was one little hiccup. We will be back!

Pleasant surprise! Found this place to meet up with my vegetarian friend. I am a carnivore through and through but found this vegan meal to be surprisingly satisfying! We had the brunch tasting menu which included a delightful corn soup, refreshing melon salad and a delicious sweet potato and cauliflower curry and several other tasty treats . The diversity of flavors and fresh quality of the ingredients made for a very enjoyable experience. The wait staff was very attentive, but not intrusive. And the atmosphere was very elegant and understated. Will definitely be going back!

I came in for my birthday brunch with my friend whom was a hr and a half late. While waiting I decided to indulge and everything started out well. Food was being presented at the table and I started off with water to drink. Within the hour and half wait on my friend, I finished at least 5-6 plates of food and drank over 2/3 of my water. More plates was brought to the table without the previous plates being removed. For a fine dining upscale restaurant this service provided to customers is not acceptable. Producing food without removing discarded plates causes a build up and looks untidy in a dignified establishment as such. I’m a returned guest whom have been frequenting Equinox for a few years as a vegan myself I indulge in the vegan brunch every year for my birthday and occasionally though out the year. My water glass literally went the duration of that time unfilled with less than 1/3 of water in the glass. After dining upon paying the bill I noticed a automatic gratuity of 20% added to the bill. I couldn’t fathom how the service equated a 20% gratuity when the server didn’t clear the table of the dishes not refill the water without being told to do so. I requested to speak the the manager Gustavo whom went to insist that the delay in my friend arrival, and the allowance of me being seated under my reservation while she was still delayed justified the service. I questioned how a upscale fine dining establishment could find it acceptable to require such a percentage for gratuity when the server failed to provide that level of service with is expected and sets the establishment apart from other restaurants not of that caliber. Gustavo continued to inform me that had my guest been present on time the food items would had mirror one another on the table at the same time while eating. He continued to say that due to the inadequate size of the table, had she been present the plates would’ve cluttered the table.
All the starters and mains were fabulous!! Ambience is also very nice, suitable for a date night. Dessert was a but underwhelming but apart from that everything was great
The meal was outstanding: warm hearts of palm cake over cold soba, pork tenderloin, cherry clafouti (really a tiny tartlette). The only problem was the interminable wait between courses - at least 20 minutes. There didn't seem to be a shortage of wait staff, who continuously asked whether everything was ok while we were eating, but who weren't there to bring out the next course within a reasonable amount of time.
At $19 a glass, the house white wine was ridiculously overpriced.

We went during restaurant week, so the menu was limited. We really appreciated that each course had 2 vegan options, so my partner and I could each get something different. Everything was delicious.
Amazing food, great ambiance, incredible service! Could not recommend this place enough. We enjoyed the restaurant week five course vegan meal, and it was phenomenal. The flavors blend together impeccably, and the added touches for presentation, the waiter coming to tell you what your next course contains, and the personalized touches that they add to the dessert for special occasions makes this an incredible, unforgettable dining experience.

I enjoyed a three-course dinner during Restaurant Week. The food was delicious, as always, particularly the light but flavorful heart of palm appetizer.
The service was quite good, even though restaurants across DC are experiencing staff shortages, and our waiter was eager to please. Overall a most enjoyable evening.

got brunch here and the food here was delicious! our server was incredibly nice and my family loved the meal. the cauliflower and the pancakes were especially good during brunch :) going to come back for dinner soon!!

I’m not a vegan but my friend is and this brunch was my birthday present to her. Nevertheless, I enjoyed everything on the brunch menu. I like not having to decide what to eat and having the dishes come one after the other. It’s a great place to have Sunday brunch and relax. Also, very good covid protocol.

The food was under seasoned and greasy. I was pretty disappointed, especially since it wasn’t inexpensive. Once my friend arrived the service was pretty attentive. It was also kind of dark, which was a little annoying.
Not easy to go out for a nice vegan meal. This was superb and the staff were very nice and knowledgeable. We did not feel rushed at all. Really enjoyable evening and the food was outstanding!
