The Epoche Lounge Bar is the perfect place to "wine-down" after a day of exploring the wineries of Hunter Valley Wine Region. Play a game of pool or sit by the glowing open fire in the winter months.
The Lounge Bar is open to the guest and the public from 12.00pm daily
After waiting an hour for 2 pizzas we then waited another 3/4 hour for coffee and tea. When we inquired we were told that they had made the coffee and tea but were to busy to serve it. When the tea finally arrived they had forgotten to put any water in the tea pot. The staff said sorry but didn’t offer anything else for their terrible service. Such a shame as the venue is so nice but is totally let down by inexperienced staff who also left tables uncleared and dirty. Our empty pizza plates still weren’t cleared even after our coffee and tea were served.
The atmosphere was lovely with the fire and the décor and for sitting and having a drink it was great but to sit and eat a meal at the coffee table was not ideal. Food was ok but not great and we had to wait a long time for our meal. We ordered room service the next night and the food was below average. Calamari was cold and tasteless and the menu said aioli sauce but got BBQ sauce and tomato sauce. The chips were good and so was the steak sandwich. I ordered the cheesecake for dessert which was below average and just tasted like a frozen cheesecake from the supermarket not freshly made. So a little disappointing overall.
We dined there with Entertainment Book, buy one main get another main offer. Overall the lunch was fine. Atmosphere was nice and quiet.
Went here Saturday night, ordered a prawn pizza. The prawns did not look fresh ended up not eating the pizza.
The drinks were pricey.
Appalling customer service, we wanted to sit outside figured out ourselves how to open their doors and grabbed ourselves a table. (It wasnt a straight rotate knob type of doors)
Ordered a share platter and the food was just poor quality over all.
Would not go back.
