Enoteca Boccaccio is an award winning restaurant from the legendary D'Anna family. Situated above Boccaccio Continental Supermarket, it is a destination for some of Melbournes best cheese, salumi, and an Italian/European menu from hatted head chef Andrew Beddoes.


The wine list is a dynamic and ever evolving selection of our favourite wines from local and international producers. It is curated by our team to best reflect the vintages and compliment the menu offering. We offer BYO Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night dinner service and Friday/Saturday lunch service with $20 corkage per bottle.

    We took our son for his birthday we all loved the setting. We order appetite scallops-fish -pasta the food is amazing. Will be back again for sure.

    Second time at Enoteca Boccaccio, and again loved it. The service is friendly, knowledgeable and doesn’t interfere. The food is exceptional. Certainly on the more pricey end of the scale, but the quality, attention to detail and presentation is what you would expect. All dishes ordered were delicious. Definitely will come back.

    my wife and i had dinner here and it was delightful. great service, the octopus delicious, the osso buco tasty and the fish superb. Topped it all off sharing an apple flan with a piccolo coffee which which capped off the meal. some italian wine to complement the meal and very good wine options.

    I'm a coeliac & ordered gluten free rigatoni all'amatriciana. The pasta was undercooked. I mentioned it to a staff member & the chef was kind enough to prepare a new dish. I honestly believe it wasn't the chef's fault but the fault of the pasta producer & cooking instructions on the pack. I have found that gluten free pasta is always undercooked if I follow the producers instruction. I use Rummo glutenfree pasta. As an example, Rummo recommends 11 minutes to cook spaghetti but in reality it takes closer to 15/16 minutes for the pasta to cook properly, 13/14 minutes for it cook al dente. Perhaps in future the chef might wish to taste the pasta to ensure it's well cooked before serving it. Not a criticism, just a suggestion/recommendation. Overall, it was a very good experience & I recommend Entoteca Boccaccio. I'll most definitely return.
