Emilia's Crafted Pasta - St Katharine Docks
At Emilia’s all our pasta is made fresh every morning in our restaurant in full view of passers-by and served from our fully open kitchen. In true respect of Italian tradition, we use certified Italian produce and try our best to ensure no additives, artificial ingredients, preservatives or anything unnatural is in our food. We believe that food is much better when it’s 100% natural.
Our restaurant has a mixture of chef’s bar/counter seating (overlooking the open kitchen), window seating (overlooking our terrace and the marina), normal tables and an outdoor terrace (overlooking the marina).

with toasted sourdough Pugliese bread and adrizzle of extra virgin olive oil
with organic lamb, parsley and parmesan in a light butter and sage sauce; A delicate combination of lamb and herbs from the Emilia-Romagna region
Smoked Salmon (or Pancetta) Carbonara
with pecorino and beaten eggs (bucatini); Although the origins of this classic are hazy, with carbonaro translating as charcoal burner, it is believed that the lush creaminess of this filling dish fuelled hungry workers
Great place great food just a bit tight on space but will return
Never had burata before, soft and delicious and bruschetta very tasty.
Lamb ravioli was gorgeous. Walnut pasta was lovely
Tiramisu was slightly disappointing as was very custardy and lacked that special taste.
Overall good value for London. Would recommend
Me and my fiancé absolutely loved eating here! I booked it for his 25th birthday and the location was beautiful and the restaurant smelt so good the second you stepped inside. The food lived up to the aroma. I ordered the ragu and my partner ordered the lamb ravioli and both were cooked to an exceptional standard. We will be coming back here next time we’re in London
Amazing food. Amazing service. Amazing value - definitely go 😍
Cosy setting, lovely uncomplicated food. Very friendly staff
Very good pasta specially smoked salmon.
The picturesque window view across St.Katherine's Dock was great. The excellent menu contained a good choice of dishes and the wonderful pasta lifted the spirits on a cold day. The creamy walnut sauce on the casarecce is certainly a dish I will have again and the burrata with toasted sourdough bread and a drizzle of olive oil was a very tasty starter. As it was my husband's birthday lunch we each had a glass of very nice Prosecco. The friendly staff even put a candle on my husband's dessert which was an appreciated touch. The venue is not large but it was continually busy and this is always a good sign. We have already recommended this restaurant to other family members. One last note, I did feel that the price of the meal was good value.
Went there 23/11/21 for my birthday and had outstanding food, can tell the staff care about service and quality. Definitely recommend to Everyone
Food was outstanding. Unfortunately, service was terrible. Our waiter avoided our table, and we had to constantly ask other staff for assistance. Thankfully, the waitress that took our main order was splendid. When the waiter did came, he dropped things off and walked away, without asking if there was anything we needed, and he never checked on us. We were disappointed to see that an over 12% up charge was added to the bill for a service fee, when the service was the worst we’ve ever had at a restaurant.
Food was phenomenal, can’t recommend enough, I will be having dreams about this food.
Service was fast and super friendly although we were asked to pay and leave for another party to arrive which is fair enough, just only gave us 10 minute warning. I
So amazing and will be returning very soon!!!
Amazing food. Great value and such good service will definitely visit again
Lovely simple pasta, delicious food. bit of a mix up with my dessert which came as a separate drink to the expresso so instead of being £3.50 was £7 but I didn’t want to rock the boat for a few pound. Service charge added as standard. Lovely little restaurant and would love to go again someday.
Delicious food, the pasta was so fresh and tasty! Definitely try the pistachio gelato!!
Super fresh pasta restaurant! It's the best one in London
Great food, good wine
Amazing pasta and starters. Very cute little restaurant but there is no onsite toilet. The tiramisu was quite runny, so wouldn’t get it again. Friends said the creme Brûlée was good
The most scrumptious pasta and pudding in the cutest little restaurant in a beautiful location. Only con was no toilets.
Inside was a bit cramped and too noisy with the music - we decided to sit outside which was fine but a bit chilly. Saying this, amazing food and great value for money!
Absolutely my fav restaurant in London! I love the area and the atmosphere along with the food and service, is perfect!
Super fresh and high quality food! Super recommend!
Great place to eat . Attentive staff . Lovely food and good value for money
Staff were super friendly and the food was incredible!
A lovely little dinner place. Great service from a very friendly team. Delicious pasta dishes!
I was really looking forward to visiting here after seeing their great pictures on instagram etc.
The pasta itself was the best part but the sauces were substandard.
The pesto pasta had almost no flavor whatsoever.
The other main dish (béchamel bolognese or something similar) was actually quite tasty but served with a huge portion of cheese so the flavor was over powered.
The service was slow and then drinks were tiny.
I rarely leave reviews but I am because I want this place to be better. I will visit again to see if I just went on an off day perhaps.
The lamb ravioli is a winner - thoroughly recommend that.
Lovely fresh food, very small resturant but with a nice vibe. Starters were the star! Shame about the lack of toilets as having to leave the restaurant to go pop to the toilets isn't ideal.
Best pasta I have ever had, can not recommend this higher.
The pasta was great, I would absolutely recommend this place!
Great service, excellent venue, fabulous food. This was our first visit and we will certainly return.
Really lovely setting at St Katherine Docks. Amazing food & great service. Highly recommend x
Loved all the food and thought the restaurant was really cosy and romantic until a table of 5 showed up and ruined the atmosphere by shouting and talking so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves talking. Luckily we were right at the end of our meal but if they’d been there from the beginning I think we wouldn’t have had a good time.
Soo lovely the service and the food
Minimal and simplistic but hits the spot👍🏻
The food and value for money was very very good! Service was quick and not in your face. The indoor seating is quite cramped with little space between tables.
Day trip to London finished off with a lovely meal
Very good value and lovely food
Fabulous! Just the sort of authentic place you dream of finding. Lovely setting, food and staff all at reasonable prices. Will definitely go back.
We had a fantastic meal here last Friday night as part of our twin boys' 13th birthday weekend celebrations in London.
The setting, atmosphere and food are stunning - the staff very friendly, welcoming and attentive.
Would highly recommend as an alternative to the usual chain restaurants, a much more authentic experience, with freshly made and cooked food, with that famous Italian welcome!
Fantastic restaurant, we really enjoy the food and the service was very professional and nice
A wonderful meal, perfect for a lunch date with my husband. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you
I didn't like that my homemade pesto pasta was a bit cold. And didn't like that the waiter was avoiding us. I know it was busy, but still, it's a small restaurant
Food was great , really tasty and a great price. Table was a little cramped but otherwise everything was great !
