Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The pancakes were a bit dry (needed syrup or something like that), but flavour was great.
An original menu majoring in local produce, which is clearly described on the menu; prepared perfectly as described.
Beautiful food, great presentation and helpful staff.
The lentil croquettes and felafel dish was very nice but would have benefited from having more vegetables with the roasted beetroot.
The wait staff were lovely - helpful and obliging without being intrusive.
Very enjoyable as always. Our guests loved their meals . Our daughter will be visiting us soon and she is looking forward to dining at Emeraude with us.
So see you again soon 😀
The staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for you. the food was fabulous, they were big servings. the table next to us were a little noisy, as it was cold outside all the doors were shut so the noise stayed inside, but it just meant they were enjoying themselves. Yes I will definitely go back when I am down that way again
The food is delicious and beautifully presented and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Love the local produce and care taken with every aspect of the meal. Only downside to our visit was the windy day!
This cafe restaurant is such a find. The staff are friendly and knowledgable, and the chef is amazing. The food, where all ingredients are lovingly locally sourced, is devine and inspiring.
We were there for breakfast/brunch and the menu was world class.
Cannot wait to go there for dinner sometime.
Amazing service, great coffee, delicious and inventive food, our favourite spot.
Excellent food, amazing service. Kid friendly- big chairs and booster seats available. Kids loved the mini kids pancakes! Coffee fab! It’s definitely worth the drive! Go check this place out if you haven’t already!
We waited over 40 minutes for our meal and then my friends breakfast was forgetten and she had to wait another 15 minutes for her meal to come out. It was very loud in side with the coffee machine we couldnt talk across the table
A lovely setting and imaginative cuisine, but why can't you produce a decent cup of common or ordinary cup of English breakfast tea? Just plonk a Twinings teabag of the same name in a wee teapot of the sort found in thrifty motels everywhere and fill it with boiling water. How simple is that? Whatever you use (Dilmah?) the result presented to me in a fancy contraptions was going on cold and utterly hideous.
Loved it cant wait to return had breakfast, want to try lunch next time. Havnt got a negative word to say.
Can not fault the food or the service, had the black Angus stake and would rate it the best I have ever had.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
One of our meals was OK the other disappointing. Service was fine.
Food as always amazing and the owners and staff fabulous, can’t do enough. Coffee worth the drive.
Need to book extremely busy.
So amazing, we had the hunter, bubble & squeak and afghani eggs, all meals to die for! Service was sensational, coffee was excellent can’t wait to come back!
Food was sensational! A cocktail to begin the celebrations. Then shared old fashioned potato cakes as a starter. Aioli, guacamole and relish a lovely touch on an old favourite. Followed by two soups to share - chicken and veg, Tuscan meatball. Both WOW. Exceptionally tasty, hearty and perfect for a cool day. Tempted to lick the bowl! The service was very friendly and attentive. We'll be back for sure.
Fabulous food and a really impressive range of choices. The cheese soufflé was envied all around the table. Was lovely for a family birthday lunch - something for everyone.
The service was a little bit disorganized which just let them down a little. Missing cutlery, missed drink orders, overly eager cleaning up.
But overall I’d definitely go back.
Overall it was fantastic to be part of a wholesome food experience in a beautiful part of the Queensland country. The food and wine was quite good. We would refer to it as having high end cafe offerings. We couldn't help however feel that a couple of pointers would have helped our experience - so here they are: Firstly, book ahead and ask for a table either inside or in the lovely courtyard. The verandah looks out onto a carpark - some window glare issues which makes the escape from the city a little redundant. We also witnessed several customers be turned away as they didn't have a reservation. Secondly, make a little song and dance about being seated - so they know you are there. Several customers were left without being seated or served for some time - It may have just been a busy busy day? When we were served, the waitstaff were actually fantastic. Other than that, we enjoyed our experience - just wish the ambience where we were seated matched the food!
The breakfast menu was amazing and there was something for everyone. Staff seemed under pressure and distracted. The lack of a working toilet took the shine off of our visit.
We went to Emeraude for our second visit for our 38th anniversary. The food and service was fantastic and we wouldn't hesitate the restaurant to others and indeed have already. Will definitely return.
Fantastic food. Worth the trip out to Hampton. Best food i have eaten in a while.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch at Emeraude. Interesting menu and very tasty food presented well on the plate including fresh edible flowers.
We have been to Emeraude many, many times and each time is amazing! Worth the drive. The breakfasts are out of this world yummy. Love the atmosphere, ethos, friendly staff, coffee. All amazing!
Always fabulous...what more can I say! Great place to take family and friends when they are visiting from out of town.
Such a great experience each time we have been. Food is devine and coffee is delicious
Beautiful food cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend For any occasion.
Delicious food in a wonderful relaxed setting. We’re already planning our next visit.
I have been here several times now for dinner. Recently I have started coming for breakfast too and the food is so good. I always recommend this place to anyone that ask for great places to eat. The drive from Toowoomba is completely worth it.
Amazing menu and quality produce. Couldn’t find better anywhere in the world.
No. Firstly, i booked a table inside only to be told there was no table inside that we would have to sit outside at a table right next to the entry. It was a very cold and the wind blew right onto your back. Also, terrible service. Waited 45 minutes for our meal.
This is the second time we have been to “Emeraude”.
The thing I think we like the most is the large variety of choice featured on the menu where everything tastes at least as good as it reads.
The service was very professional but friendly.
I would throughly recommend “”Emeraude” to anybody who likes to likes something a bit different.
Beautiful Delicious Breakfast!!! (as always)
Would go back in a heartbeat!
Emeraude is like an Oasis in the middle of a tiny town. It’s not what you would expect to find. Very classy, with an artistic old world vibe, amazing service, and divine food. Highly recommend.
Great food. Lovely setting. Service could be improved a little. We would recommend this cafe.
Really nice food and good range of options. Large serves, left full
The food and environment were amazing. This is one place we will always go to. Thank you for the deliciousness.
Our experience wasn’t up to the usual standard. My partner’s chicken pie looked and tasted like it came from Brumbys, served with a squashed boiled potato and peas! And my chicken soup was tasty but not the big bowl presented beautifully like usual and served with two bits of cheap breadstick. Usually a nicer baguette :(
Lovely experience at Emeraude. Food was delicious and great value for money given the large servings!
