The cuisine at Embassy XO weaves its way through China and South East Asia, balancing flavours, textures and exciting spices. Embassy XO prides itself on sourcing local produce and supporting our local suppliers which allows our menu to focus on fresh seasonal ingredients. 75% of the fresh produce used is from Head Chef James Wu’s farm in Cootharaba, in many ways it is a farm to table experience.
Having achieved 2 Goblets in the Australian Wine List of the Awards for 6 consecutive years, our wine list has an eclectic mix of classics to newer players in the wine world. It is a tight list with a focus on producers that farm sustainably. Whether you are a wine aficionado, gin drinker or a humble beer lover, our drinks list has something to appeal to everyone.

    We often go to Embassy XO as the food is consistently good, service is good, it’s a very pleasant atmosphere and prices are reasonable. There are many good Asian restaurants in Noosa but don’t overlook this one- we love it. And it has a cute little bar. Catches lovely breezes through the louvres. Altogether enjoyable!

    Sunday night catchup with a friend from Melbourne. 3 for dinner. We shared Zucchini Flowers - texture and the tofu were great Scallops - beautiful presentation, tender and moist scallops, the mash base was unexpected (but good) Duck Pancake - Great, moist duck Steamed Barra with Ginger etc - Generous serve (enough for 3) wonderful flavours Wok tossed greens with oyster sauce - nice, possibly a little watery Vegetarian fried rice - Nice flavours but more of a wet than dry stir fry. Affogato - hard to stuff this up and this was good Scoop of vanilla Ice cream - sat on a bed of shredded coconut was a nice surprise. All with a bottle of Tarrawarra Pinot Noir. $80/head was good value. Service was attentive but not obtrusive, friendly. We lingered for a while (long catch up) and we weren't rushed at any point. We've been here before and never been disappointed, Once again no disappointment with this night, possibly we should have chosen the Spicy fried rice (one of us at dinner was spice-phobic, our call) and the Cauliflower rather than the greens for more texture and less moisture. Lovely atmosphere and great location, we will be back again

    Never let down here. Hidden treasure in Noosa area without the hype . Real Sunshine Coast hospitality fresh ingredients. Always personal service. Fab wine list. I shouldn’t be telling everyone this because it will get booked out!
