    For our first time visiting Darwin this was a GEM of a find via Google maps. Friendly and welcoming staff, great menu, delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone.

    There are occasions where Darwin produces some outstanding restaurants and this is one of them. My second visit and a third will follow when next in the NT. Ambience, outside or in to suit your mood. Staff, all professional and welcoming. We shared plates and being unfamiliar with the cuisine, left it to the kitchen to decide after letting them know our preferences. What followed was fantastic. Chicken, smooth and creamy, tangy prawns, was that kangaroo? Slow cooked lamb ribs and more. Every dish unique, the overall effect was a balance. Nothing clashed. Cocktails, now that's a test. A real traditional margarita, Long island iced tea, pick the spice -subtle. Cinnamon? Both well done, so dessert was a couple more margaritas, this time tamarind flavoured to cap off an excellent evening.

    Food was good, service generally OK but they didnt have my first choice of Sri Lankan beer and then forgot that they hadn’t chilled yet=the one they offered to me. And it took a followup from me to find this all out after 20 minutes… And a bit noisy for my liking.

    Had dinner at Ella Darwin. Food was absolutely fantastic. Delicious ,fresh and just enough spicy. Staff was awesome,friendly, so professional and attentive. Like to highly highly recommend Ella in Darwin.

    Excellent food and flavours, albeit very mildly spiced (heat) The lamb dish was excellent but a tiny serve for the price, must have been barely 70-80g of meat
