The Squire’s Landing Restaurant - Sydney
It was a beautiful setting, with exceptional service and food where the occasion we were celebrating was highlighted with a stunning dessert for the birthday guest.
Food is badly paired. The kombu butter is overpowering and the taste lingered all the way till the end of meal which is unpleasant
One of the most enjoyable dining experiences. Service is out of this world. I'd give it 20 out of 10. The restaurant ran like clockwork, very very smooth indeed. Service reminds me of the great San Francisco Grill at the old Hilton. Great food, wine ,service in a terrific restaurant. Shame it's going to close. For whatever reason closure of this gem is going to be a sad day indeed. There aren't many restaurants like this now days. Glad to have dined there. Hope chef Perry will open another soon
The wait staff were very attentive. The staff were all friendly and knowledgable, The food was amazing, love the little chocolates at the end. All of us enjoyed the meal.
One of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time. Wish they would remain open!
A wonderful dining experience in a tastefully decorated restaurant setting. Excellent service and wine list. Highly recommended.
Brilliant as always. This dining institution will be sorely missed.
Food was great; however, service was a bit slow.
Eleven Bridge was a pleasant surprise for us. We were not expecting the striking black and white decor, stunning service and feeling of being pampered. The prices are on the higher end but the atmosphere, delicious food and attentive service are what you are paying for. It was our last night in Sydney before returning home to North Carolina in the U.S. It was raining and we wanted a restaurant close to our hotel. We made a reservation at this wonderful place, just around the corner on Bridge Street. A complimentary appetizer was offered. I ordered scampi, a potato side dish that was fabulous with a butter sauce and my husband had a dish made with baked snapper. All three items were delicious...our favorite, the potatoes. My only complaint is that we were first in the door and were given one of the tables I would save for last to use. We were seated near the front door near a service table. Staff were running by us with drinks and food for others or standing at the service table all evening. When the front door opened we could feel the humid air enter the room. This, in my opinion, was probably the worse seat in the house. I'm not sure why it was offered as the first table for two when we made reservations in advance. It put a bit of a damper on the experience. All in all, I highly recommend Eleven Bridge...just ask for a seat in a quiet part of the restaurant.
Great diner and wine selection.
AMAZING food! As a vegetarian it was great to find that they had a whole vegetarian menu and could do a vegetarian tasting menu too, and each dish was delicious. The tempura eggplant was out of this world! My partner raved about all the dishes from his non-vego tasting menu also. And the desert was incredible. Brilliant service too.
Eleven Bridge is just a very very good restaurant. From the moment the door is opened for you until the time they say goodnight. The food is sensational, generous and beautifully presented.
If I had to find a fault - the slowness in asking if we would like a pre dinner drink. I had to ask the waiter.
Apart from that small complaint the two hour meal flew by. Such a shame this will probably be our last meal there as the restaurant is closing.
Best place in Sydney in terms of food quality , taste , and ambiance.
Great food. Very sad Phil Wood is moving on, and on the closing.
Fast & efficient service. The host was very attentive. Table was available immediately. Good selection of wine & spirits. While my partner loved the main course, I enjoyed the dessert.
My wife and I just spent a few days in Sydney and we targeted several of Sydney's well-known restaurants. Eleven Bridge was a delight, great food, excellent wine list (a bit pricey - typical Sydney) great service - service that was prompt but unhurried. One of our great dining experiences.
The appetiser at the start of the meal was the highlight. The bread was second. Entre was ok, main was terrible and misrepresented.
Overall very disappointing food.
Lovely experience - staff went out of their way to accomodate us and our special requests, thank you for a memorable anniversary lunch!
The stunning Tasting menu was an amazingly full experience.
Our gorgeous waiter guided us through the menu including indulging our foodieness by discussing the flavours of each course as we finished them.
Overrated. Food was simple, preparations were unique but miss the mark.
Celebrated my good friends birthday. We opted for the Tasting Menu despite there being 2 chicken dishes on the list (another friend of mine did not choose this because he thought chicken at fine dining didn't seem worth it).
However the food was absolutely amazing and definitely did not disappoint, staff were very friendly and well informed.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys fine dining or would like to spoil someone special
We were made to feel very welcome and like a valued customer from the time we entered until we left. Every dish ordered by our party was exceptional. Beautifully presented and of the highest quality. Great selection of wines and great service at our table. Highly recommended for a special occasion!
We went for my birthday celebration. The food was very interesting. I loved everything - my husband felt that the description of his dish in the menu and by the waiter did not accurately depict what he was ordering, so he was disappointed in his main (the tea-smoked lamb). The ambience and interior design were perfect - such beautiful lighting. Our waiter was excellent. The restaurant surprised me with a little birthday cake at the end, which was lovely. Totally recommend.
The food and service was absolutely lovely. Will DEFINITELY be coming back
georgous food unbelievable service... The only thing lacking was the Air conditioning was on the blink..this is my 4 experience dinning with neil perry restraunts and will continue to keep dinning with him.
First time at Eleven Bridge, for a private birthday celebration.
It was a hot and humid day, and it was a little warm in the restaurant. That is the only fault I can find in what was one of my most enjoyable restaurant experiences to date.
From arrival to leaving the staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating and added a little friendly flair to the dining experience. The food was delicious - pricey, yes, but absolutely worth it. Strongly recommended.
There was no aircon and it was boiling hot, we lost our appetite. To be frank we couldn't really enjoy our meal.
Our entrees were great however I couldn't eat my main the Moreton Bay Bug as it was too salty and in such a humid and hot condition it was somewhat unpleasant to be honest. My partner had the crab with congee and it was slightly less salty.
Dessert was great. The petite fours were lovely but unfortunately we couldn't eat due to once again the heat.
The central venue is nicely decorated and perfectly lit by candles. The staff is highly professional and very attentive. The entrees were perfect, the mains were also very good but lacked a spark.
Food was delicious and service perfection...salad is served close to the end of main course on same plate.
The restaurant is very nice inside with lots of atmosphere, private also as the tables are not too close together. The service was excellent cannot fault it. The food was magnificent with lots of different flavours through it. Afew complimentary touches really made it too. Especially when a small dessert was bought out to me for my birthday that I was celebrating. Very nice personal touch and made me feel special.
Very nice and will go back again.
Entre & desert were delicious my main course lamb was a little disappointing.
Waiter was great but missed our first course. order was not written down which is OK
We booked for a Monday night when it was pretty quiet, whilst the ambience was a little subdued the food more than made up for it, starting with the chicken lollipops to the theatre of having my partridge carved table side and the finale of a perfectly symmetrical soufflé.
Innovative, eclectic presentation of their 6 course degustation menu, paced well with interesting unusual wine pairing (optional). Ample portions served, though they might seem small at first sight.
New menu is great. Wine selection remains impressive. Staff really attentive and seem to be having fun.
Interesting, well prepared and plated dishes of very good quality. Excellent, friendly service and wine advice. Wine pours a bit stingy.
Lovely atmosphere for a romantic meal. Food is exceptional as required. Service lovely.
Incredible flavours. Sensational
Really enjoyed this restaurant - service was the best.
