Menu items start from as cheap as the charred street corn with queso and lime for $8 with tacos, quesadillas, and also larger mains that can be shared for a great experience. In addition, we offer an extensive beer, wine, and cocktail list. Oh, and of course tequila, mezcal, and margaritas!

We are open 6 days a week, and hold a license until 1 am on weekends. The restaurant is family-friendly, wheelchair accessible, and available for functions.
Such a great restaurant. The best Mexican in Geelong honestly - everything is so fresh and doesn't feel like heavy greasy Mexican you usually get at other restaurants. Although service could be a little better, quicker attendance to you after seating and additional drink prompts. The tables need to be a bit more spread out if possible, I was so close to the person behind me, they hit me in the head - definitely not 1.5m distance between. Other than that a really great restaurant, relaxed vibe and amazing food and drinks. Will always return here.

The food was excellent and the staff very helpful. The open floorplan of the restaurant made it a little noisy but not unpleasant. I would recommend El Santo to anyone who enjoys quality Mexican food.
Have dined at El Santo several times and have always found the food and service excellent. The only down side is not being able to have a coffee to finish off with. Hopefully coffee might be added to the menu in the near future. Otherwise really enjoyed it.

I was unfortunately very disappointed, as we've been on the search to find decent mexican food since we moved to Geelong from Texas 3yrs ago. We've come from a place that does some of the best mexican in the world besides Mexico itself, and this is so far from it, we weren't quite sure what we were eating. The service was excellent and loved the atmosphere. The salsa and guacamole were the highlights ( if only the chips weren't stale)but everything else was flavorless and seemed like the most basic cheap ingredients thrown together. It's a shame and unfortunately won't be back. So sorry

Food was OK but not amazing. I had a vegetarian Chimichunga and my partner had the beef Chimichunga. The highlight of the meal was the desert, which was churros with caramel sauce.
