We enjoyed the experience, it was different with authentic Mexican food as opposed to the usual Tex Mex at most Mexican restaurants. The food was very good as well. The only suggestion would be to have 2 tacos, tortillas or similar for each dish instead of 1. Often a couple would be dining and 2 dishes would give the opportunity to both try it. I think people would be prepared tu o psy say $10 for a dish with 2 as opposed to $7 for 1 and I think they would still spend a similar amount overall.
Had a wonderful night, really enjoyed the authentic Mexican cuisine. Highly recommend.
Food was very tasty: its Mexican street food - I would have liked more salad options - the hosts were extremely friendly and the ambience was good. Try it for yourself
1 st time and definitely not the last. The cosy and welcoming environment was very refreshing .
The owner/waiter was sweet and very Friendly.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for great food, atmosphere and a relaxing fun night.
We tried the new El Gusano Taqueria Mexican restaurant on their Taco Tuesday night. The food and atmosphere is great. I would recommend this to anyone who wants authentic Mexican street food. They have a great bar and inside and outside dining available. Lots of posters on the walls which adds to the atmosphere. See you next time!
Great food , atmosphere , friendly staff, delicious food . My new secret spot to go .
The most authentic Mexican food in Sydney. So good !!!
So yummy. Great food, service and the best margaritas. Great value for money
Awesome authentic Mexican! The best Tacos we have had back in Australia since spending 6months travelling around Mexico! Will definitely be back!
Was expecting good things from this place after reading some reviews from different sites, however my husband and I were left highly underwhelmed. Out of 4 tacos only the chicken one actually tasted great and was tender. The chorizo was very dry, the goat over cooked and no taste, and as was the pork :( . The selection of sauces did help to add some flavour. The cocktails are also not good. I tried a classic margarita which tasted like lime cordial, wayyyy too acidic and no tequila taste, and the El Diablo not sure what the flavour was meant to be but again couldn’t taste any tequila in it. The three waitresses were friendly but none of them knew who was serving who even though there were literally 3 other tables with people dining. Shame as there as not really any ‘authentic’ Mexican restaurants on the beaches.
Good food, a little more expensive than similar local restaurants. Good service, couple of mix ups but should improve over time.
