Eddie Merlot's Prime Aged Beef and Seafood starts with U.S.D.A. Prime Beef. Only 2% of all U.S. beef is awarded this superior certification. Eddie Merlot’s ages the beef naturally to an unparalleled standard of tenderness and flavor. The chef then personally selects each piece for the optimum proportion of marbling, and texture, before hand-cutting and seasoning the thick, tender, and juicy steaks to your specifications. To seal in the flavor, the steak is flash-sear on high-heat grills. Eddie Merlot’s has created one of the hottest concepts today; the wine bar provides more than 40 wines by the glass and a very extensive reserve wine collection by the bottle. The bar is stocked with all of the finest spirits and after dinner cordials and Cognacs. Eddie Merlot’s boasts a contemporary but stunningly elegant interior design and atmosphere—where guests can have fun, relax and enjoy listening to up-tempo music, while dressed in business or casual attire.

Service Couldn't have been any better, I cant remember his name but he was the best waiter.
I was with my Wife for her Birthday on 05-22-19 at 7 PM and we had the best time. If you can figure out who he was defiantly thank him again. ( He deserves a nice raise / bonus because I am defiantly going to be telling more people to go there)

We had a mostly lovely dinner at Eddie's. The food was very good as always but service was a little off. Our server was a very personable young man and had a good rapport with the guests which I think distracted him a bit. He was working hard serving several tables and helping out elsewhere but unfortunately dropped the ball several times during our dinner. He apologized profusely and manager pointed out to us when we alerted him that server was having some personal issues that may have caused the problems which I fully understand however, if that was case he probably shouldn't have been at work. The restaurant business in our area is very competitive and sometimes people can be put off by this and never return. We love Eddie's and will continue to come back so hope this doesn't happen again. My best wishes to our server and his family.

The service was severely lacking and the food was of poor quality, when compared with our previous experiences. It took over twenty minutes to even order our drinks. We tried the crab legs and they were not fresh or served hot. The steak was tasty and well prepared. The waiter was nice, but there was a private party that significantly detracted from the main dinning room service. To the extent, it was a struggle to even order two beverages the entire evening. It’s hard to justify the prices, when a vast majority of other local restaurants would do much better. This scenario was clearly a management issue, based on a lack of sufficient staffing and planning for additional resources.

Exceptional food and experience. Celebrated my husband’s birthday and our waitress Cassie was amazing. She made excellent recommendations (it was our first time) and even gave us a handwritten birthday card and special desserts in celebration.

My family loves steak and this is now our #2 (led by Ruth's Chris). I'm glad we finally visited EM, upset we waited so long and will definitely return. The filet mignon and ribeye were amazing and for sides...we tried mac & cheese (average), sweet potato casserole (excellent), asparagus (hard to screw up) and corn (not as good as DC Prime but average and probably a lot healthier than DC Prime). The creme brulee- excellent. Enjoy!!!

Don't be in a rush because you'll be here for at least 2 1/2 hours. The food takes an extraordinarily long time to arrive. My scallops were only luke warm. My husband's filet was not cooked to medium well - one was rare. My child did not enjoy her sirloin burger - she said it "tastes funny". Not worth the money. We wanted to see what the hype was about. We saw and probably will not return.

Went on Mothers Day. Two out of four steaks were overcooked, and that was after waiting like 45 minutes for the order to be cooked. Dinner salads came before appetizer. Noticed multiple tables being apologized to, so either a really bad night, or still working through start-up pains. For a $240 meal for four without any alcohol, I would've expected a better experience.

I went there for Mother's Day and I was disappointed with the buffet. I actually regretted going there the food was not good and was really surprised. Did not meet my expectation for the price.

Overall I like Eddie Merlots. This visit was for 2019 Mothers Day brunch. We went at 11:30 and it wasnt crazy busy which was nice having elbow room at the buffet. The servers were great and there was alot of staff running refills on the chafing dishes and keeping things hot. Overall though the food wasnt delicious. It was ok. The guy at the omelette station would cook one side of the omelette, then add cheese and flip over the omelete, so what you really got was a big sack of uncooked eggs. There were only 3 people in line so it wasnt that he was in a mad rush. We actually had to tell him to cook both sides on the re-make. Not their general standard. I would go back, just not for a major holiday buffet.

We thoroughly enjoy every time we dine at Eddies. We usually go for dinner, but lately we’ve tried their brunch events and they’re just as delicious and spectacular as their dinner service. We highly recommend Jessica to be your server.

I came to the Mother's Day brunch with friends--mom's only. I should note they had COMPLIMENTARY valet for the occasion, which was great considering it was pouring rain. The manager stopped by our table, as he did others, and noticed our mom's only table and commented it should become a trend :) He was polite and welcoming, as were all other servers. The customer service was superb.
The food was fantastic, the variety and quality were impressive . Our table all had multiple smaller plates just so we could taste everything. I'm looking forward to going back for date night with the hubs!

Was 5 star the 1st time we tried this place back in December. This time, however, the service was not nearly as good and the place was very loud. The food was still great, but this place has lost some of those touches that make it worth the $$$.

The food was really good but the service was okay. It was my prom night and me and my group decided to go eat here. Maybe because we were high school students, they treated us poorly. Our server gave us basically no time at all to look over the menu, he was rude, I wouldn’t be done eating and they would take away the plate. They were basically rushing us out. I would recommend for the food but not for the service. Very disappointing.

Great service! The tables are a little tight for a fine steakhouse. The menu is very impressive. Some items are costly and some are more reasonable so you can bring a mixed crowd and please everyone. The 3 4oz filets medallions for less than $35 for example is great value. The $69 dollar 5oz Wagu Filet I passed on.
My wife and I spent $240 with wine ($40) and deserts. Add a tip and we spent $300 for a nice night out.
She had the 6oz Bision and loved it.

While the food and service were fine the overall management of the restaurant failed.
We had reservations for four on a Thursday evening. Not busy but we were seated next to a large column that intruded into our seating area. Next came a line of "platinum" club members that mingled in line waiting to get into the bar area for their recognition event. We literally had a guys back side between two of the people at our table. Really? The restaurant is otherwise empty. Why not have them enter through the bar entrance side so diners are not affected?
Waitress was excellent, appetizers were very tasty, main meal was good but did not arrive at the table hot. (3rd or 4th time here and consist)
This place has so much potential but a lackluster performance from the manager detracts from the entire experience. If you want to pay A list prices for a C list experience this place is for you. Very disappointed, truly had high hopes for a fine dining restaurant nearby but after four swings Eddie Merlots has struck out..

Mixed review on dinner at Eddie's. We usually always enjoy the food and service there with very few complaints. However, this Saturday they were very busy with usual crowd plus Prom Night but hey, if you're not busy in One Loudoun on Saturday night, something is wrong! Ordered salads for starter and server (from kitchen took them to wrong table and I had to flag him down. Then when entrees came out the same person again tried to deliver them to wrong table and I was unable to stop him wandering around restaurant before taking them back to kitchen. When they were finally brought out to table by Waiter, of course they weren't hot (which my partner insists on) so they took his steak and sides back to kitchen while I sat there with mine getting colder waiting on his to return. Should always ask people at table if they want their entrees kept warm while correcting others, I think. Food was good as always and we'll definitely be back again.

This place is awesome, especially the surroundings. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday, and we absolutely loved it. It was his birthday, so they provided him with a card and a nice cake. We enjoyed our time there. Plus, the bathroom is really nice with really soft paper towels :) highly recommend

Arrived early and sat at the bar waiting for my date to arrive, when she arrived we continued to sit at the bar and have cocktails without realizing we were actually about 30 to 45 minutes late before going to be seated. I think the folks there realized we were having great conversation and didn’t want to interrupt. When we walked up I was worried we might have lost our seats but they greeted me by name and sat us down. The entire experience was wonderful!! Great service, fantastic food and an overall perfect night out! Thank you folks very much!

As usual the service and ambiance was super. My steak was excellent. Regrettably, my wife’s red snapper was a little dry - she’s more used to the Bobby Flay version.

Overall, and despite having a number of other good choices in the Ashburn area, Eddie Merlot remains my go-to choice in the neighborhood.

Although we went for dinner, I’d like to add my appreciation for the bar service and menu. Unequaled in our area!
