I had a reservation on Saturday, June 20 for a birthday celebration for five! The restaurant confirmed our reservation on the same day of arrival and when we arrived it was closed! I had to find a restaurant to accommodate my party of five! It was stressful! My guests had to wait! That is not good business! Someone should of called me! They had my cell phone number! No excuse! I am very understanding but that was not good customer service!
I had a glass of white wine and a Mediocre burger and it cost me $42. I think that’s quite expensive,
Had the Chicken, Brie, fig sandwich and a Paloma, both were excellent, as was the service. Earls does a great job setting up the patio to mask the traffic noise.
Earls tin palace was great! The staff were amazing and accommodating, very clean. Sophie made my dining experience the best for a while.
Grace was amazing. Make sure you treat her well as she treats her customers very well.
Great food and service as always. Wish the table lighting was better at least up until 9:00 P.M. Also I have noticed that sometimes the 9:00 "rule" seems to drift towards 8:30 instead.
Waited over 15 minutes to get a hello or order drinks. (Had a reservation). When the late person came and still no service we had to finally call some over to get their drink order-the person was extremely rude. 2 of us ordered a Sante fe chicken salad. Mine was fine, (not to standard) the other had only 3 pieces of chicken. We waited ages to get someone’s attention to come over to tell them. They said they’d bring her more chicken. Everyone was done when it arrived. She still ate it and hurt her mouth on a BONE in it!!!!!
Didn’t get drink refills. Had to flag someone down for water twice. It was so unbelievable and frustrating.
Although the server/waitress was polite and friendly, she did not return to our table towards the end of the meal to ask if we needed anything else, such as more tea or lemonade.
The music level was moderately loud - it could be turned down. After all, this is not a bar.
Excellent Happy Hour menu, great food and service was very friendly.
It was our first meal out at a restaurant since the shutdown started in March. We chose Earl’s because we love their food and we knew they had places to eat either fully or partly outside. It was as good as ever!
Wonderful experience. Every attention paid to cleanliness and service. Very prompt food delivery and super tasty all around. Loved it!
the social distancing was fantastic inside the restaurant - the challenge was around d the entrance where there was not distancing by the reception desk and on the walk from the restaurant to the parking lot, This was Earls Tin Palace
Awesome as always! My second trip to an Earls in as many weeks
Prompt seating, service, and delicious food! Food prices were comparable to other restaurants but I feel the drink prices are a bit high ($20/7 oz glass red wine). If allowed, would be cheaper to bring your own bottle! Total bill for 2 people; meal, 1 drink each came to $84. Pretty pricey for lunch hour.
Our server Elissa was very charming and attentive. The meal was all we had hoped for. Our only complain was the music was far to techno pop for our liking, but perhaps that’s because we’re both closing in on 60.
Been loving Earls since it’s inception on the south side.

Coming out of Covid, or moving through the next stage, it’s clear we crave one to one interaction. But most of us -those who have a brain- are also cautious . Earls took great care and preparation. It was o vinous, with all staff including line cooks wearing masks. Made me feel much more safe.
Very impressed with how they are handling safety at the restaurant
Great service, staff and food! Always enjoy a meal there.
Server was excellent, food wasn't as good as in previous visits.
I hope it improves, I will probably go one more time for a try.
Great time at Earl’s, they have fantastic vegetarian and vegan options, which makes dining out easy for groups.
Worst meal ever at an Earl's. The salmon was overcooked & tasteless, the rice was boring & the asparagus was tough & limp.
The server was very inattentive, waited forever for our bill & had to finally ask another server for it. She needs to be told that if you're wearing a mask you should speak-up especially if the clients are mature.
Not much can be said at this time with everything going on. Keep up the good work!
Also Kyle is an awesome server and I was happy to have him taking care of me! Thanks for your kind energy and keep it up!!
Great service ! Good food!
The service was great but I had booked my table through Open Table and it allowed me to book a table on the Patio on Saturday evening. When we got there, we were told that they don't allow reservations for the patio on the weekend, even thought the website allowed us to book. After some time, they finally sat us down. About an hour and a bit into our stay (we had just gotten our food) when a manager had come up to our table to ask if she could move us inside as apparently we said we'd be done by 8pm (which we did not). So service was good but a bit of miscommunication between the website and the restaurant.
We enjoyed this outing
Such a different dining experience with social distancing - some may find it nice a quiet. I missed the hustle and bustle of staff and people enjoying the Earl experience
We were so happy to go back to the Tin palace to celebrate some family milestones but, honestly it was a little disappointing. The service was very friendly but, unacceptably slow: 50 minutes to receive appetizers, 90 before receiving all meals, and we had to get up without ordering a dessert to share in order to pay our bill because it was taking so long. The food tasted great but was lukewarm to cold, they brought one order with ingredients that were asked to be excluded (which they said they could easily accommodate) and one of us received the wrong order entirely. Despite all this, it was still so nice to finally get out and have a quiet meal together as a family. We're hoping the problems were all caused by staff adjusting to the new normal and we will return at some point again hoping that all the kinks have been worked out.
This was the first dining experience we have had in months. We were very comfortable with the new protocols and never once felt unsafe.
Very tasty food. Highly recommend Happy Hour deals - lots of variety. Friendly staff.
Everything felt very safe and clean, we weren't worried about anything when it came to cleanliness. Food was delicious and our waitress was very helpful and friendly. Glad to see Earls hasn’t changed in spirit even though they changed (for our safety) physically. Can’t wait to go back
Very good meal and great service
It was so nice to be back .one of our favorites in edm
Always love going to Earl's for their happy hour!
Not quite as good as usual . Orders were a bit mixed up and food didn’t taste quite as good as it usually does.
The table we asked for was available and excellent. Our server was beyond helpful. Every one seemed to like their food. We were impressed all around. It was my wife's birthday, and she received a complementary delicious desert. We will be back for sure. The only criticism I have is that the food is rarely hot, especially at brunches. However, when this is pointed out, they always fix the problem
Brunch is awesome and great value at happy hour
Service always great
Ambience is one of the best
Parking not a problem for Jasper Ave
While we right in downtown core, we cameto Earl's so we could have a business meeting without having to yell at each other. The restaurants downtown feel obliged to play loud music for reasons unknown to most humans.
Service and food were very good too.
Everything was quick, food was good service was awesome
Excellent brunch/affordable - Edmonton's unknown weekend secret - it is not available in Sherwood Park
Staff are super friendly and helpful, big menu with lots of choices and great happy hour prices. Will be coming back for sure
