Duke's Seafood & Chowder - Bellevue
Duke's Bellevue is always a lively venue with excellent food and attentive service. Howver, pricing is a little bit high and a long for the days of a more casual and less expensive Duke's.
Amazing food... service was incredible. We will absolutely come back the next time we are in Bellevue
Today had ribs as I did just a couple of days ago.
Last week dinner was excellent.
Today’s ribs were dry overcooked this was at 5:30 pm
Should be prime time for fresh food right?
Well ribs over done veggies cold and undercooked.
The wild child salad was excellent.
Drop in yourself and spot check your customers eating — ask them
I frequently eat at Dukes in Bellevue and south center.
I’m sad to report is getting to be hit and miss
eating at Dukes.
In retrospect the last 6 visits 3 were troubling.
We met our daughter and her family here for lunch on a Sunday. There were seven of us, including three children. We were so impressed with the food, and the service was wonderful--attentive without being intrusive. We had so much fun, and could not have been happier with our choice of restaurant.
Friendly service - good food
Clam chowder excellent. Salmon, done medium, kinda dry.
The food was ok. The service was ok.
Service was amazing (as usual, great people work with great people) and the food was soooo great!
It was a great dining experience with family. Yummy food and great ambience.
I've been to Duke's locations many times but this was my first to the Duke's in Bellevue though the experience was familiar. Very good food and service, nice atmosphere that's not over the top. The amenities in Bellevue are certainly nicer than the Alki location simply due to the fact it is new and Alki needs some remodeling. Duke's is always a good option as it provides good value for very good food & service for a night out.
Service was 110%: my wife requested a substitution be made in the salad she ordered and the server wasn't sure whether she wanted the calamari fried or grilled so brought a side dish of the grilled for her to have along with the fried where calamari that were in the salad. The wait person went out of her way to make sure our meal was perfect.
Food was great, a little pricey.
Birthday lunch. It was great
Dukes is always great from the moment you walk in to the person who seats you, the waiters, and the food always tastes good and fresh. It’s a little pricy so I don’t go as often as I would like. However it’s worth the price!
Some of the best chowder we have had. All our dishes were excellent. Lots of restaurants in this area and Duke’s is clearly a standout. Make sure to get reservations on weekends...they’re popular!
My wife and I will not be returning to this restaurant. The food was mediocre, I had the cioppino which was ok at best. My wife had halibut fish and chips which we should have sent back. They were very dry, over cooked and 2 fillets for $30 is outrageous.
We did not know that this restaurant was in a mall, our view was of a parking lot. For the prices I would have expected to be on the waterfront somewhere.
Staff was nice, that's a positive, but the prices were 20-30% above what they should have been and the quality of our meals was very poor.
Service was superb!
Met some friends for dinner on a Monday night and completely enjoyed ourselves. The waiter mentioned bottles of wine were 1/2 off on Mondays (bonus!) and we were in time to order a number of shareable appetizers (including yummy seafood items) at happy hour prices. All in all a fantastic experience!
Definitely recommend—Awesome seafood, crab cakes are too die for!
Duke's food never disappoints and there are so many options. We go to Duke's every opportunity we get.
Duke's has tasty food without the pretentiousness of many of it's neighbors. Lower cost too.
$16 for on crab cake. Waiter making mistakes on the order. All adds up.
Excellent food, a little pricey
I started dining regularly at Duke's a couple of years ago, and have had positive experiences each and every time. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the food is always top notch. I love that Duke's serves grass-fed beef and sustainable seafood, and has gluten-free options.
We love Duke's- the quality of food, flavors, warm and engaging staff.
Not too noisy
Wow. I always enjoy dining at Duke’s, but the other night I had something really delicious. I don’t often choose to order steak in a place that specializes in seafood, but it sounded good that night. I had a filet mignon on the special sheet which came with a delicious mushroom demi-glace. This was the most tender steak I have had in 20 years. Had the prawn/crab cocktail to start—I could drink that zesty sauce! Perfection.
We decided to make the trip over from a Seattle and Duke’s was ok. The chowder was outstanding as was the service but the rest of the food was very bland and over cooked. I had the halibut fish and chips and it was very dry and had very little taste. My son had the chicken strips and once again, very over cooked and he had to use a good amount of salt. Lastly, my wife’s salad was very drab and she had to add pepper which she hates to do. I know Duke’s is a great restaurant but we had a very average experience and consider the price...very disappointing.
I think the name of our waiter was outstanding (think it was Damian) and we would come back for him alone, however the food was very good and we loved the atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Excellent décor. Great helpful and friendly staff. good service. Tasty meal. Delightful experience.
Thank you! Highly recommended! Thank you!
Thai ginger cod entree was delicious. Service was good.
The menu items were overpriced for what you received and the quality of the food wasn't that good to make up for the cost.
Good service staff, bit pricey but tasty food. will come back.
Love the and service.
Ordered halibut, but they served Cod.
Maybe it was what we ordered, but it seems to me that this Duke's is not as good as the Lake Union site.
My fish and chips was less than stellar, with the fish being overly dry and the chips were barely warm. Because I was there with friends I opted not to make a scene and send my meal back. I only hope my guests were not doing the same with their meals.
The food was good but we all felt rushed throughout the dinner. I made reservations days ahead but ended up in the bar booths. They told me when you make reservations, request the dining room.
Our go to place when we want to dine out; we never have a bad meal or experience.
Great service, great food, great value, great experience.
Our waiter Zach was very informative on the menu and such a treat! Very kind staff and delicious food made for an amazing meal with friends.
