Disappointing experience given the reviews we read which lead us to visit Duddell’s
Cocktails on terrace were excellent and staff extremely attentive
However service in restaurant was very unfriendly and unhelpful
Had to return one of the seafood soup because the broth was too fishy. We didn't expect an apology or anything like that but the manager kept on asking our server and looked at our table rather than coming up to us, which seemed very unprofessional. When the dishes were cleared up the manager came up to us asking "Check?" with an attitude. HORRIBLE service experience I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone but do come here for nice ambiance.
soso service, really bad food, and provide food value less than $20 worth, and i paid $900/ppl, i feel very stupid, and disappointed.
Went there on last Thursday with ex school mates. Good food, excellent service, comfortable ambiance but a bit pricy. Normally go there on business purposes and last Thursday was for friends gathering but it find it worth to go back in all kinds of occasions. Didn’t try the wine because still need to work in the afternoon but I have noticed quite a hood and vast wine collections especially you can have a glass of Ruinart Champaign before the meal.
Both the ambiance and food were great. Would definitely come back with a bigger party so that we could order more!
Service was ok tho. Some waiters have no smile on their face - the overall experience would definitely be more memorable if service can be improved.
Excellent food, excellent service, nice roof-top garden, price a bit high (upper limit)
Service was not that convenient for coffee at the end of the meal. Overall, however, so much fun the day before a holiday, Easter. I definitely would like to go there again soon.

Server, sommelier attitude was not that good.
Some uncomfortable feeling that give a pressure to order additional wine (we bring ours, and say that we'll charge corkage fee) and food at first time. (We said that we'll order additionally)
$60 for condiments we didn’t even use and service was too rushed. They served our main course whilst I was only half way through my soup! Therefore mains were cold when I got to eat them. Everything was over and done with for a 4 course lunch in about half an hour - not quite the fine dining experience we expected.
Beautiful restaurant, very attentive service and delicious food. For a westerner the menu was very unusual, so may not be for everyone, but worth it for an authentic high end Chinese meal
The food there were absolutely amazing and delicious! Service was very good as well. I will highly recommend Duddle's Hong Kong to my friends.
very disappointing...only the chicken is good, all other dishes are disappointing. Service is not up to the standard as an expensive restaurant, poorly managed!
Nice environment, good place for socializing and business meeting.
It was a bit hard to find the restaurant. I visited at lunch time, people rushed into the restaurant, fulled the table up quickly. I am not sure because of that, my foods came late. I had to wait to my order coming after finishing the first dish. The tasty of foods was great tho.
I would love to come back with my friends. I will try to visit the restaurant downstairs next time.

Although there were a couple great dishes the tasting menu was quite dissapointing for the cost. $1400HKD per person and the lobster was chewy, as was the Abalone almost rubber (first time trying Abalone is it supposed to be?). Crab shells in that dish which obviously should not have been because you can’t see them... Cocktails were good thankfully.
What set the mood a foul right from the start was having 2 bottles of Krug shoved in our faces almost before we even sat down and the waiter was quite pushy trying to sell us (without mentioning the price) $550HKD+ per glass champagne. Uh ya no thanks. Glad we said no...
The condiments were also an extra $85hkd, really? We had 3 tasting menus and you can’t comp that? Brutal. Water of course also cost more. What a joke. I thought Michelin was all about service? At least explain things. Half the dishes the waiters walked away without telling us what we were eating. At least the wine guy was good to describe the pairing. The service was also a bit rushed with the wine pairings I had ordered. Pouring me the next glass before I’d even finished the first and clearing dishes in front of me while I try to drink, almost hit the glass while I was drinking!!!
Considering the plentiful and great food options in HK I have no idea how this place has 2stars. Doesn’t even deserve 1. Even the plating was boring and lazy.
If you ever go I would highly recommend a la carte snacks only. Lesson learned.
Almost $1000USD for 3 people should have gone so much further.

Delicious, elevated cuisine. The crispy salted chicken and bbq Iberico pork are must haves! Service professional, but we had to refill our own water. Lots of business account types here.
Went for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by how attentive the service staffs were despite it being a full house. Food was great as usual, ambience was good, and overall experience at the restaurant was nothing short of great.
For the price we were expecting great food but unfortunately it was not. Two of the dishes including a signature dish, were very disappointing. We would not return.
Decor was nice but service was average and the food quality and taste was way below standard. Food looks better than its taste. Definitely not worth any Michelin Star. We had the Executive Set Lunch with wine so as to have a taste on a variety of food. The truffle fried rice was bland and we could not even taste a hint of the truffles. Noodles tasted so bad that we could not even get ourselves to have a second bite. Rest of the tim sum were nothing special, such as fried spring roll (oily) and Har Kow (prawn dumpling). Wine by the glass selection was limited, only one type of wine each, white, red and rosé, which were all of below average quality. I've been to many Michelin Star restaurants and this is definitely the worst.
Slightly underwhelming. The honey glazed iberico pork was nice, the salted Chicken was not crispy as advertized. The pork fried rice was tasteless. We also had a crab and prawn dish, both dissapointing. Overall it was ok, but not befitting a 2 michellin star restaurant. They also charge you for the Chili sauce, which really made me laugh. Who does this?
Our server made no effort to guide us through the menu selections or help navigate the menu in any way. We had a few questions and his answers were curt. He seemed almost frustrated. We couldn't understand the concept well at all. That coupled with the fact that two dishes weren't available to us, was a rude start to the dinner.
Then after selecting some options, the server asked if we wanted rice although we had already ordered rice as one of our selections. He wasn't very focused on the composition of what we were ordering.
The crispy chicken arrived luke warm, then when we made the server aware, he quickly brought it back reheated. I know that crispy chicken is an extremely complicated dish but if you can't make it fresh, you shouldn't serve it. I can't remember getting a reheated main course at a two star Michelin restaurant.
We also discussed staging and asked the server to bring the main with the vegetables which did not happen. So, we ate chicken then fried rice and vegetables separately. That is unusual.
Finally, the server prepared our bill before we asked for it and put it down on the table before our plates were even cleared. No dessert menus, or ceremony.
In a city full of amazing dim sum restaurants this restaurant stood out in its offering of unusual choices. Loved the shrimp dumplings and noodles as well as the soup.
High quality Chinese food with good wine options and perfect service. Would definitely go again.
The place is buzzing during lunch time, loved the vibe of the place. service was professional. My friend and I decided to have the Executive lunch as we were not big eaters and it would have been a challenge to share dishes from the ala carte menu. Unfortunately, the food served was way below our expectations especially since this is a 2 Michelin star restaurant after all. The dim sum selection was mediocre (probably get better dim sum even in local dim sum restaurants) and the crab meat in the corn soup still had pieces of crab shell attached. The rest of the dishes were not memorable, but the desserts served were not bad on the day we were there. The dishes served for the set lunch lacked in creativity, taste and presentation. We suspect the ala carte dishes would have been better (it has to be since it is award winning restaurant) but judging from the set lunch served, we would say to others to "dine at their own risk" then.
We were excited to try some of the 'best dim sum in Hong Kong', and while the food was nice - I think the experience was completely overpriced. It is not Michelin quality, nor was the experience worth repeating. Some of the dishes on the tasting menu were traditional and exotic. I probably would question trying bird's nest or abalone anywhere else - and these were both 'fine'. Not exceptional and not delish. I would try somewhere else.
Delicious. The pumpkin Wagyu dim sum was one of the top ten things I have ever eaten.
I like delicious food, although their service can still be improved.
Good if you have a salty taste for Asian food as food tends to be on salty side.
Service not any better than a normal western restaurant. Would expect better service for the money I am paying for very typical Chinese dishes.

My expectation is better food for a Michelin two starred restaurant. I really don't understand why Michelin gave two stars for this non-extraordinaire foods.
But the service is really perfect.

Executive lunch was good value and the food well cooked and full of flavour. They need to trim down on Managers half the time during lunch service 5 were lined up at the head of the restaurant with little to do, while the waitresses ran around serving. Either lose a few managers or at least hide them out of sight.
Food was not good, overall a bad poor value experience.
Food was fantastic and service was great and very tentative and felt looked after.
Only small constructive feedback, would be for the waiter to speak a little slower and clearer when explaining the dishes as no-one on the table understood.
they sent me e-mail about holiday brunch but I didn't check it. so I did not know it was a holiday (I just though that was monday lunch). I wondered why there was no price on the menu plate. we just ordered 4 small plate and chines tea(which not included brunch menu) It took me a long time to get to the menu, and I wondered why the staff asked me if I would not let them eat more. I realized it was weekend brunch buffet when I pay for ! OMG! our waitress kindly said we ate too little so pay for one person. I appreciate that but It would have been nice if there was a guide when I entered the restaurant, when I had a drink not included in the menu, or before I finished eating.
The food was extraordinary excellent.
