Amazingly yummy!! We ordered mains and sides and it was ALL delicious. Best Jerusalem Artichoke Ravioli I have ever eaten. Very current menu and the decor is beautiful, great atmophere quite setting and around the corner from the noisy area of Piccadilly. Super friendly staff. Will be back soon..
Great service - good and interesting food. Background music was a little intrusive. Very convenient to the Royal Theatre - Haymarket.
Really delicious combination of Duck and waffle! My high expectations were met when I took a bite of the crispy duck confit and the mustard maple syrup was an interesting mix that worked well to tie it all together! Booked and went on a Monday night and restaurant wasn’t busy, only 3-4 tables were filled including me and my friend, but don’t know how it would be for a busier time so best to book in advance. Great portion for value as well.
Good food and service as always!
Found it overpriced and not much cooking skill displayed
Nice and not overly busy for a Saturday brunch. Menu could be more descriptive as it is a bit of a guessing game as to what you are getting.
I love the breakfast and their waffles and the service is always polite and respectful
The eggs in the shakshuka were extremely overcooked, straight up hard, even though as promised by the server they should be over easy.
The portion is generous and environment is nice and casual
Perfect place to have a pre-theater diner. Excellent food and nice setting.
Lovely food, good service and nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend trying the waffles!
Very important to flag that this is not the rooftop duck and waffle. Made this mistake but happily the food was still delicious. Would highly recommend the pornstar martini and duck burger!
Beautiful food and as good as going to the other duck and waffle!
The signature dish “duck and waffle” was disappointing: the duck leg was obviously re-fried and as a result too dry. The waffle was good, as was the deconstructed cheesecake. Having said that it was similar to Muller Corner yogurt. The burger was average but the chips were very good. Doubt I would go back.
Something we had been looking forward to, and the experience did not disappoint!
Good venue for moderately interesting food and cocktails. a bit different but not exceptional
Food was quickly served and tasty but didn’t appreciate my plate being taken away whilst I was finishing my final mouthful, felt like we were being hurried up
I don't fully understand the hype, the place is nice and in a good location but the food is really average or poor.
I already recommended this place to my friends. The food was amazing. The experience was even better than the original Duck & Waffle. We had a great time and the staff really helped with that as well.
Delicious supper located right in the heart of Picadilly
The duck and waffle was amazing and the burger was delicious
Dessert was a bit of a left down got the brownie waffle quarter piece of wall and a few chunks of brownie with a small blob of ice cream which wasnt the nicest
But that was fine as the food really lives up the reputation
Food is really good. No where to put coats so not ideal when you are wearing many layers and have a bigger bag.
I’d heard good things about the original Duck & Waffle, but never been. I was looking for a place for a bite to eat pre-theatre so thought I’d give the ‘Local’ version a try. Have to say that I thought it was pretty bang average, and even with happy hour drinks (I don’t count £5 for less than a pint of beer as happy) the bill still came to almost £70 for 2 of us with 2 mains and 1 side only. Food was decent in parts, service was erratic. In short, there are better restaurants in central London at this price point and the experience here has put me off visiting the original, supposedly more premium, restaurant.
Nice and quick service. We had the duck and waffle and the duck leg portions seemed to vary a lot in size. not great value for money but ok.
Cery friendly staff, and the food was lovely and definitely one of the cheaper meals we had when visiting London. Would definitely recommend
Food options could be more. It was good but it could be better. Excellent service, staff was great, amazing hospitality will definitely come again.
Great food with fantastic views. Good service and nice atmosphere.
The service was very quick and good. Constantly pouring our water before we even realised we had finished it! The food was lovely. Good portion sizes and tasted amazing!
Some of the food items were luke warm and drinks arrived towards the end of the meal. Discretionary service of 12.5% was hard to be removed from the bill and seemed to take it personally.
Really tasty food with a nice mix of options. Cocktails were delicious, especially the hobnail. We were sat at the back however so missed out on any atmosphere.
We were 1 of 2 tables for the 45 minutes we were there. We were sat first, however the other table were given menus and water. We waited for a while for the same, then had to ask someone to give us menus. Considering there were just 6 of us in the whole restaurant, the service was incredibly slow.
The breakfast did however make up for it.
Lovely manager, let us try the new burger as we were disappointed that the local burger isn't on the menu any more. They do remove plates a little fast but maybe that's just efficiency.
A nice evening however a vegetarian option on a waffle with an egg would be great!
Absolutely incredible food and lovely cocktails on the happy hour menu. Highly recommended.
Go with your gut, when it comes to ordering the most intruiging dish - you won't be disappointed
Simply superb service and food - we passed the day before and popped in for a drink as it looked pleasant and we couldn’t resist stopping back for food the next day. The front of house remembered us and all the staff were efficient and friendly.
Can’t wait to be back next time we’re in London!
I ordered Duck and Waffle for my dinner which is really testy and I enjoyed their drinks as well.
It's an okay place, but they don't have a GF menu or allergens clearly displayed on the menu. Nice choice of food, nothing too impressive. The door is continuously left open by entering customers making the entire place very cold in winter.
Really great atmosphere and the food was delicious. Got in just before happy hour finished so we got some really nice cocktails at good prices. Compared to the ‘offical’ duck and waffle place, this far beats it on seats available and price!
Delicious signature dish, duck and waffle. Desserts are excellent too!
