I love DTRH.❤️❤️❤️ It’s such a unique experience. Much more than wonderful food and great wine. It’s like a serene sanctuary. You may arrive feeling stressed and anxious but you will leave feeling relaxed and recharged.

My partner and I went to DTRH on Monday for lunch and it was perfect. Delicious food and wine, excellent service and a wonderful relaxing vibe… would definitely recommend. Absolutely no complaints.

A wonderfull experience for our wedding anniversary. Only one issue , I could not book the $75 two course on line. I knew the $95 meal was going to be too much for us but we took our time and enjoyed it. The deal on the Mataro was great and I appreciated the young lady taking the carton to our car. We have recommended to other people already. Ps the young man doing the wine tasting in the bus was great. Very knowledgeable of his wines and presented himself very well. I would have him in our cellar door if we had one! o:

The most magical day from beginning to end … the wine & food were beyond outstanding. All of the DTRH staff were incredibly welcoming & had great joy in sharing their little piece of paradise with us all. Such a hidden gem of McLaren Vale 🐰🥂

A lovely selection of food ,beautifully presented and well explained by staff. It’s casual, friendly and the outside activity of diners, children and dogs in a less formal setting makes the whole experience comfortable and inclusive.

We love DTRH and have spent lots of fun times there dining in the restaurant and sitting outside enjoying the atmosphere, gorgeous scenery and fantastic tasting platters. But I wish we could choose the food from the restaurant like we used too, the Feed Me was good but I didn't feel it was worth the 95.00 per head. 5 couses with one being bread, then waiting over 30 minutes for my coffee, which I ended up cancelling, just took the edge off what was supposed to be an amazing experience like we have had before when coming here.

We loved every moment, every sip and every morsel of food. Beautifully decorated inside and outside, great vibe enhanced by gorgeous weather. The only downside was the bad acoustics in the restaurant which made it hard to have a conversation at a normal volume, especially when the (very friendly) bartender wash shaking cocktails. I won't stop us from coming back!

A beautiful atmosphere and gorgeous garden. The restaurant was lovely. Beautifully presented with flowers from their amazing garden. The food was excellent and delicious. We ate it all! I love this place and will recommend it to all my friends. The service was all given with a smile. The wine was great!! Overall an awesome experience!

Great location. Excellent vibe. Friendly welcoming staff and the service and food is excellent too. This time we tried the "Feed Me Style Experience" which was really good. Vegan and Vegetarian options availabe to the menu. Peaceful place with a view to the garden and alpacas. Definitely worth experiencing.

Amazing vibe on entry, kindly greeted and taken to a wine tasting experience on the stylish double decker bus. Wine tasting was provided by a friendly and knowledgeable member of staff and we received 8 different tasting which was excellent value for money. We had the feed me lunch menu of 5 courses and each one was stunning - perfect amount of food and the drinks menu was also varied and excellent. So happy I picked this place as my first experience of McClaren Vale!

Allergies were forgotten and even had to physically show staff that they were clearly in the dish, even though they repeatedly said it wasn’t. Also, portions of food were missing and ordered drinks were forgotten and staff had to be reminded a few times before the drinks were served. Another than that, what was served was delicious and very filling. The atmosphere/place was amazing.

Overall experience was astounding. However, food price was too expensive. Honestly, the quantity of food is literally good for one person despite paying $95 per person. The best part is that everything was fresh and organically made. I would still highly recommend the place if you want something relaxing and cozy.

Lovely food, friendly and welcoming service and beautiful location. The feed me menu was divine, each course was amazing and it’s well balanced. The outdoor table by the flower garden was particularly excellent for our group of 10, protected from the weather but still in the sunshine when it was there, nicely private. Thank you for hosting us.

Where do i begin - EVERYTHING was perfect :) From the moment we arrived we were greeted by young & vibrant staff that welcomed us warmly. The decor was soothing & the small quaint touches like fresh flowers on the table made it special. The food was explained in detail, not only did it look amazing it was heavenly to eat. This was a truly beautiful experience & made our group lunch catch up exceptional. Thank you for having us, we look forward to returning soon.

I was so pleased that Penny Hill (I do love Penny Hill for wine and food) was closed on Monday as it made me look for another venue to catch up with my sister and her partner for lunch. The Rabbit Hole is such a great place to eat and sample wine, the staff are so good and even though they were so busy, we still got great service and the food was to die for. The wine was great too. Down the Rabbit Hole as wonderful for my birthday celebration. Couldn't fault the experience. Beautiful setting. Staff were very accommodating when there was a 'noone at fault' mix up with the booking time (time zone issue).

Hands down one of the best meals we’ve ever had. It’s a set menu with an Italian vibe. Service was great but the food, the food, simply put wow. We are from Sydney but would happily travel the SA to eat here again. The burrata with broad beans was gorgeous, but for me the linguine with chilli and spanner crab was the standout dish. The only problem was our stomachs were not big enough for everything! Definitely treat yourself and dine here - you won’t regret it.
