    I felt it was very expensive and the service was mediocre. We waited a fair amount of time to order a drink and for the price the main courses were not spectacular. The entrees were really good, I might add.? Overall I would probably try somewhere else.

    A very good Restaurant with excellent food, a bit on the pricy side I suppose but well worth every cent. On this visit I was disappointed at the lack of knowledge of the Menu by the girl attending our table, a simple question as to whether the Steaks came with a Sauce or which Sauces were available, she said only Mustard however when pressed she went away and a man came and explained a bit further. My Martini pre dinner drink turned up half way through my Entree, I refused to take it, more and issue with the Bar rather than the waitress I suspect. Otherwise she was efficient and polite.

    First visit to Donovans this cntury and what a wonderful birthday meal the two of us had there. Food was great, ambience unequalled and the service unmatched: friendly, efficient and usnusually helpful. Highly recommended. We will be back in the summer to enjoy the beach views.

    This place never disappoints, always love coming back. Excellent modern classical food, none of those fusion stuff, excellent service, excellent ambience, superb wine list. The goto place for memorable special occassions.

    Fabulous dining experience. Knowledgable staff who are both very friendly but also professional and efficient. Superb food. Beautiful relaxed dining with the rain and wind lashing the windows for extra ambiance. In short everything I look forward to when I return to Melbourne from the UK. No one does service and food of the quality you find in Australia.
