Welcome back to simple Italian food.
Great selection of pizzas. Extremely busy which is a good sign. Very popular. Deli selection of goods looks great. Quite a loud and vibrant restaurant with lovely staff.
Always love the ambience and Good in DOC. Great for big family get togethers. Favorite with the kids and adults alike. Truly authentic Italian cuisine
Family loved it from the grandparents to the 4 year old and the 11year birthday girl said it was the best birthday dinner ever- so it was a fantastic night out.
Authentically Italian pizzas. quality produce and products used and sold in store
Everything was very good , just thought the cheese platter compared to the meat platter was over priced for what was served up. The pizzas and salads we’re very good and overall I would recommend to everyone.
We organised a surprise birthday dinner for my sister's 21st, and it could not have been better! Amazing food, great service from the waitstaff, and the special birthday music was just the cherry on top! Thank you to DOC Mornington for a fabulous evening.
Great restaurant for excellent Italian food for the whole family
I generally have great experiences at DOC, the food is always great and was again last Thursday, however for such a quiet night with many waiters and waitresses on duty, there service was very slow and our table had to seek out the waitress to come over multiple times. Plates were left empty on our table for 15-20 minutes before someone finally came over to clear them, and the staff were not very busy just did not bother to come over it seemed.
Great place if you don't have allergies. My sister is celiac and after eating gluten free pizza, she became quite ill. :(
Booked a table ahead of time and got a table away from the main restaurant, out of sight and out of mind. Due to this, service was incredibly slow. Drinks took forever, it took over half an hour to order. And a bday surprise had to be reminded twice, AND still took over half an hour after the second reminder. Overall, incredibly sub par unfortunately.
Food was good. Quick service although the restaurant was packed. Wine is expensive. Antipasto platter was very limited. Didnt like the surchage for public holidsys.
Venue is too noisy when fully occupied. Pizzas we had were not great and were quite bland. $23-$28 for a pizza to feed one and
$7.4 0 for 1 soft drink is well over priced.
Best Pizza's, were delicious
Will not sit outside again, as there was a terrible smell which puts you off your food.
Great pizza and salad. Our whole group of 9 thoroughly enjoyed it.
Pizzas are always yummy, especially the crust!!! The place was quite full when we were there so the food and drink order took a while but it's a great place to hang out and people watch.
We had a lovely night at Doc, staff were friendly and efficient. Our food was great as always
Usually we love dining here as the food and wine and ambience are always great. Authentic Italian fare served by attentive staff. However yesterday we had to beckon staff on numerous occasions after waiting longer than we should. Our waiter showed zero interest in our party (a quiet family of ten - different ages). No smiles, comments, suggestions - zilch!! Had it been our first visit, it would have been our first and last.
