Fabulous food and wine.
The 7 course tasting menu with accompanying wine for only £90 and it was such a memorable eating experience! One of the best I've ever had apart from the service being non-existant to start of with but once it got going was really great. Unfortunately the early delays meant we were rushed out at the end.
The food and wine was exceptional tho.
Great night consider COVID redtrictions
Last Sunday lunch before lockdown 2!
Cauliflower soup was lovely. Red hot and tasty. Beef was nice but under seasoned in my opinion. Extra gravy was requested as Yorkshire puds were huge and came quickly.
Felt as the rice in the rice pudding was a bit undercooked.
We keep giving D&P a chance as we love Blackfriars so much but unfortunately we usually leave underwhelmed. FOOD is nice but doesn't WOW me.
Very good value for a quality Sunday lunch. Bearing in mind the current restrictions service was good. Will definitely be back.
Sunday lunch was amazing every part was really tasty. Brilliant professional service will definitely be back again
Food was ok. Not worth the asking price of £100 for set menu with wine pairing. Unfortunately sat next to a very drunk couple which spoiled it a little. Has an odd atmosphere, wishes to be fine dining but food isn’t quite there and staff don’t seem to know their food as well as they should. We also seemed to have a different person serving us every other course. Great whisky sour though!
Food was sensational-lovely wine to match. Service was warm and welcoming which was hugely commendable given the state of things with CoVid measures. Really really enjoyed the meal.
We had the tasting menu with pared wines. The food was exquisite. The waiters were all knowledgeable about the food . The sommelier was able to guide us through the wine with ease. Overall a lovely food experience.
The 5 course taster for lunch.
Amuse of Duck Liver Parfait with Caramelised Onions - parfait so cold it wasn’t possible to discern any taste.
Miso Soup, just awful , vinegary and with an unappealing greasy looking film.
A carrot. Carroty.
Extremely tasty but slightly ‘over’ Turbot with a tangy Chervil purée.
Well presented and cooked beef with a pleasing confit cabbage and a surprisingly good (surprising cos it looked awful) crispy potato.
Yuzu poached pear with hazelnut.
60 quid with a well matched but sometimes mistimed wine pairing.
This was all, ok.
Superb, absolutely superb. The wines paired with each course were fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend you make a visit and enjoy the food for yourself.
A very interesting and varied Tasting Menu with a balanced and excellent wine flight. Worth the (expected) cost and a nice experience.

Staff friendly welcoming and attentive without being intrusive or pushy. Excellent tasting menu. Catered for our dietary needs. Relaxed atmosphere. Not rushed. Will return and highly recommend
Delicious food, Fantastic value Sunday menu, attentive service without being too fussy.
Great Sunday lunch excellent wine and very professional service. Thoroughly enjoyable .
I enjoyed the meal. We had the Tasting Menu which was good although I had difficulty understanding one course which had a cooked carrot with some crisps on it. It was cold/luke warm as was the soup. The staff were friendly and unobstrusive and the service was excellent.
Brilliant experience, enjoyed by all celebrating a birthday.
Thank you!
Amazing food and excellent service all in a Covid safe environment.
Only disappointment was the unavailability of my favourite sparking wine (Rotari)
We love Dobson and Parnell. We will be back in the next couple of weeks
First visit. We had the 5 course taster menu which was excellent especially the turbot dish.
Will be booking again and will try the take away option as well.
Wonderful tasting menu with fantastic wine pairings.
The food was brilliant and very well described before being served. The waiters were also very accomidating.
Lovely leisurely Sunday lunch. Only criticism was the red cabbage - too much clove!
Fantastic staff and food the perfect lunch thank you xx
Lovely meal as always, with great staff
Every visit has always delivered good quality food, wine & service.
Love the place!
The food was well presented and eating with my eyes did not disappoint. Great 3 course meal. Will be back again in the future.
A much enjoyed Sunday lunch after a long dog walk in the morning.
Went for the Sunday lunch deal, had three courses with matched wines and it was really lovely. Great value, delicious food and wine. Definitely recommended.
Lovely food, delicious wines and attentive, professional but discreet service. Go there!
We enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch.
Food and sevice excellent.
Will be booking again.
Can recommend the 7 course tasting menu with wine, a real treat.
Excellent food, great service, really good value too, we will be back!
Fabulous quality food at amazing price! We had set menu 2 courses for £17, good choice of both starters and main courses
Thoroughly enjoyed the pork chop!
Hopefully won’t be long before we can make a return visit
Post Lockdown 1 - Well organised - great lunch -will definitely be back - looking forward to the taster menu when things open up again
This place amazes me. It’s practically fine dining with a fraction of the cost and almost all of the benefits
Fabulous! Everything was perfect! The service from start to finish is amazing. The waiters are so attentive. We had the taster menu with wine pairing which we highly recommend. The food is absolutely stunning and the wine is paired beautifully. The waiters take the time to explain each course and how and why the wine has been paired. The ambience is perfect - smart but not at all pretentious.
We loved it and will definitely return.
Thank you.
Good food and wine with good service. Felt Covid safe. We will be back.
Elegant stylish restaurant with a nice ambiance. Lovely food and excellent service. Nice cutlery and crockery. Even the handwash had a nice fragrance.
Wonderful service, well paced courses, perfectly paired wine with each course.
