Dmk Burger Bar
DMK Burger Bar is a well-known, casual eatery that is located at the North end of Chicago, just a short drive away from the Chicago Children's Museum. The interior of DMK Burger Bar is styled with a modern subway style backsplash, wall-mounted televisions, a large bar and tons of seating. During the warm, spring and summer months, guests have the opportunity to dine outside on the quaint roadside patio if they so wish.
DMK Burger Bar offers a wide array of burger options, complete with unique patties and buns. There is also a full bar menu available for guests to choose from and enjoy.
The food was great and the manager, believe his name was Sam, was really friendly and attentive. Awesome place.
The wait staff are awesome. However...Dark bar pumping loud “can’t hear what you said” pop and classic rock tunes. Tables are small. Chairs are small and rigid. Not comfortable at all. Small burgers big price. The bar has a selection of IPAs and whiskey none of which I recognize at all. Maybe try adding some average beer and drinks for the average Joe. Over $70 for two adults and two kids who had Mac and cheese and a grilled cheese. Probably better for the young and wealthy.
It was great for a quick lunch.
Would prefer that some kind of side come with the burger- the visual wasn’t very appealing to have just a burger on a plate.
The food is very good. Favorites are deviled eggs, burgers, fries, and mac & cheese (yum!). Service was also great!
Really great burger and service. Atmosphere is a bit dingy and dark.
Our service was not good. Food was spilled on our table and not cleaned up. Our orders came out wrong and then to try and "fix" the situation they gave us a teaspoon size sample of a milkshake. Wouldn't recommend it.
Great atmosphere. Great customer service. I enjoyed my time there and would go back again.
Great burger! Enjoyed the 10 year anniversary discount. I always recommend this place.
It’s really low but the food is great so it’s worth it
Great food and service
We arrived for a birthday celebration dinner with our son and it was so hot and humid he fell asleep. There was no air conditioner so it made everything pretty less than average. The staff was very nice but we took our cake and did it at home
We love DMK!. We brought some friends that had never been, they said it was the best burger they ever had!
Food was good, they have a number of burgers to choose from, and for a touch extra you can exchange your grass fed beef burger into a turkey burger or a bison burger. Burgers are $12-$14 and include absolutely nothing! French fries, which are uncommonly good are another 350 for half a plate or seven dollars for a full plate. This ends up costing a lot for a burger where you don’t get your choice of how it’s cooked, medium, medium well etc. My biggest problem with this restaurant is that it is unbelievably loud. I’m not sure why the music was not playing it might be the Caverness effect of the way it’s built but you can barely hear yourself think.
Great dining experience
Came for lunch on a Wednesday when the Cubs were out of town. Sat at the bar, hardly anyone was there; food, beer and service was outstanding. What’s not to like?
Always a great meal always a good burger very consistent.
Fantastic food in an easy going atmosphere. Would definitely go back
Waitress was super snotty and rude. Won’t be back anytime soon. Food was not up to par, fries were hard and cold, I had an upset stomach later that night
Was everything we hoped for. Great burgers and a great selection of fries.
Terrific burgers in a relaxed atmosphere. Lots of great variety and good options for our vegetarians and gluten free friends. Definitely return here.
DMK Burger was okay. We had a good burger, good fries, and good cocktails.
Our food and service was great, but they sat us where there wasn’t much light. It was difficult to read our menus.
