The dim sum was delicious, food has improved since I was there last. Everything was served piping hot and well spaced out. The okra and ginger was disappointing however but staff were accommodating and gave us extra ginger which was a definite improvement. Prefer the main dining room as the back room where we were was a bit dark.

The dim sum is exceptional and a wonderful welcome to Hong Kong. Moreover, the ambiance and pleasant service were memorable.

If you're new to Dim Sum or want a more elevated, upscale Dim Sum experience, then this is the place. The restaurant is located in the beautiful Pacific Place mall with easy access from Admiralty MTR station. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want an intro to Dim Sim from the friendly staff.

The food was not hot enough especially the waygu puff and the Seared foie gras with Osmanthus smoked coddled eggs.
The eggs were overcooked. Not at all 唐心蛋, likely cooked further by the foie gras. Foie gras was too oily. The waygu puff was not hot enough inside. Quite disappointing!!!

When I lived in HK I would come here regularly, and the food has always been top notch. The difference in this particular visit is that they sat me in the back room. It's a windowless space that's quite dark and not nice. So long as I'm sat in the front room I'd gladly return to eat here. Oh, and the peak lunch hour has meant that the service was slow and trickly. But still, the food is amazing and I would gladly return.

I really love coming for lunch or afternoon, the location and food are perfect. Last two times the service was somehow disappointing - food which we ordered, was only served when we asked for it several times - which was quite annoying. However I love the beetroot dumplings - very delicious. Coming back for sure :)

Horrible service! It took over 45 mins to get main course after getting dim sum. No one came to our table during that time to check if we needed drinks etc. I had to get up and go over to the manager to get any attention.

We had a wonderful selection of dumplings and my overseas family was very impressed. Service was a bit fast, plates all coming out together, no time to relax and enjoy each serving. Otherwise very nice, thank you.

I asked the waiter to add moretea leaves

Not sure what all the fuss is about with Dim Sum Library. We ordered exclusively off of the chef recommended page of the menu and enjoyed only one dish - the crispy chicken. The rest of our meal ranged from bland to inedible. Our wine was served at room temperature so that wasn’t even enjoyable as we ordered one glass of white wine and one glass of champagne. There are so many other great dim sum options in Hong Kong, I am baffled why anybody would go to Dim Sum Library unless it was purely for convenience.

Good value, not expensive at all, and the dim sum and other dishes were delicious, some of the best I’ve had in Hong Kong - but in a much classier environment. Good cocktails. Good service - quite Hong Kong style, not overly smiley, and staff are differentiated in the American style, so the ones delivering and clearing food wearing white don’t speak English well.

Absolutely ridiculous, second time run out of roast pork.
First occasion was 6:30pm on a Friday night.
This time is 7:30pm on a Saturday night.
May as well take this out of the menu.
Due to the location, we come to this restaurant, otherwise, seriously we would not bother as the some waiters always have attitude problems of course unless you are non Chinese !!!!!

Booked for 5PM and got there 5 min early. I’m not sure if the staff understood English very well as they didn’t bother to check for our reservation on the system. And sure enough, later I received an email that I missed our reservation.

Otherwise the food was very good. A bit pricy compared to the local places you could go to get dim sum but is located in a mall and location is very convenient.

They changed the menu at around 17:30, so we were able to try from two different menus... Though I’m not sure if one is the lunch/tea time menu and the later one for dinner.

We had a pleasant experience having lunch there with really tasty and innovative dim sum . Our seats were comfortable enough. However, I can see their staffs were not as well trained and sophisticated as other top rated / high priced dim sum restaurants in Hong Kong. They seemed to have difficulty dealing with English speaking clients. For a contemporary elegant diner like Dim Sum Library, we believe their services were not up to the standard. We would recommended this place if their staff shown better attitudes and enthusiastic towards their clients and the entire business.

There is a chef recommendation menu on the first page of the main menu of Dim Sum Library. This will help us experience the signature fusion dim sum dishes exclusively available to this restaurant. The food arrived at our table piping hot, fresh, tasty and presentable which will definitely help with our appetite. There is also a bar at this restaurant so there is a good selection of drinks, cocktails and even the more traditional Chinese tea of our choices. Make a reservation is so convenient with Opentable we can make a booking even outside the business hours of this restaurant. The staffs here are also friendly, helpful and presentable who will help us make the best food choices for me and the needs of my friends making the whole experience in Dim Sum Library a joy. I definitely will be revisiting with friends and relatives in the near future. Highly recommended for people who like to eat dim sum.

Our dim sum experience was superb. We found the restaurant easily and loved the ambience and welcome that awaited us. The staff were friendly and helpful. Each dish selected was better that we imagined. The dumplings were flavoursome, different, hot and delicious. All 3 of us had a favourite but enjoyed them all. Desert was also a delight.
We have already recommended you to our friends and plan to come again very soon.
Thank you for making dinner a wonderful experience for my friends from Australia.

The food was great and well worth the visit. Even the price was not as bad as expected. However, the service was very poor. We received our food in good time but the attitude of the waitresses and the waiters was substandard, several of them were completely disinterested, irritating and unable to answer any questions. They were not alert and proactive and they were only interested in getting us out of the restaurant.
