Devil's Elbow Brewery
Devil’s Elbow Brewery brings craft beer to Dubbo, home to the world-famous Taronga Western Plains Zoo, and now home to a world-class brewery.
We thought long and hard about the location and layout of the venue, the range of beer that would appeal to our market, and most importantly, the vibe of the venue and crew that will help create this.
Our brewery is based on this simple business mantra. Get the 3 wows right.
Wow! to the atmosphere
Wow! to the product
Wow! with the service.
Great food , loved the pink lemonade too. Great atmosphere but relaxed at the same time !!!
After highly recommending the food to my out of town family who were in town over xmas decided they wanted to try the brewery out so we went and ordered our food for it to come out with no chips, when we asked they said they ran out, so they gave us a salad with 3 half cherry tomatoes a piece of onion and lettuce which was already on the burger we ordered, the pizza toppings were only in the middle of the pizza and the vegetarian pizza i always order came out with no pumpkin base sauce or pine nuts so we asked why and we were told we should have asked for it,now why would we ask for it if the menu states what is and should be on the pizza, the chef was very rude to my husband about it all,So i won't be recommending the food or going back there for a while after our experience with the meals, the beer, atmosphere and staff were all amazing otherwise.
Do not book online. Please call direct. The open table website books you in , even sends you a confirmation email but the business is not open on the evening that we booked.. we called to alter our booking .in the afternoon and were advised they dont open Monday nights. The place itself is great the rating given is for the booking company. NOT the Devils elbow brewery.
Meals were fantastic. Fast service considering the time of year.
beautiful it was such a great night, great food and excellent entertainment, I thank you for all your hard work you did for us to make it a night that everyone loved – which is hard to do sometimes with this bunch and all great raves all the way around. Will definitely be back for sure from Wendy Schloeffel everyone at Scott's Parts Plus - Dubbo
Good food, drinks and atmosphere. Caters well for families, groups and just a few mates. Location is great being on the outskirts of the city.
Fantastic place for a Christmas Party. Upstairs was a great area for a group. Food was amazing.
Great place for casual family & friends gatherings. Lovely food. Good drinks. Good prices. Only downside is the background noise of sound system being a little too loud for easy conversation around the table.
easy to find with parking available
staff friendly and helpful
food promptly delivered and delicious
Lack of gluten free options despite stating on menu gf pizzas and other gluten free meals . There was no gluten free pizza bases and several others options not available that evening . There was also allot of sticky flies flying around inside the establishment which ended up in some of our drinks and food . Despite these issues I would like to give credit to the young female waitress who handle the situation very well considering the position she was put in on that evening . Also a bit pricey when it’s involves there drinks and food with a family .
Great food and great beer. Our table shared pizzas and they were delicious.
Only downside was that it was quite noisy inside making it difficult to hear and the wooden chairs weren't very comfortable.
Great atmosphere, loved outside area for kids to play. Nice food. Will be back again soon
Perfect place to catch up with friends for a meal great drinks and good food
Great experience at The Devil's Elbow Dubbo. Beer was great food was lovely and will definitely be back.
We have a beautiful experience with family and friends for a function! Everyone enjoyed themselves and staff were so accommodating in keeping the cake cool and brining it out when needed!
Food was delicious and a good size, we had the pizza's and chicken horns. Sevice was friendly and informative when choose the beer for our tasting. Loved the names of the beer and surprise history of Dubbo.
Second time we have been there and this time service was slow. Bit of a Busy night and when we arrived only one person behind the bar (serving, taking bookings, clearing our table we had booked etc) - she was excellent just that the bar was understaffed.
Meals took over an hour to arrive - in all fairness we were told there may be a delay ... but an hour wait for some some fries, fried chicken pieces and a couple of pizzas seems a bit excessive.
Overall a nice venue and good for DUBBO. Having a slow service night won’t deter us from supporting this business.
Food was delicious but there were 5 of us and we ordered a ploughmans platter and 3 pizzas to share and we thought the platter would have come out first so we could enjoy that with drinks while we waitd for our puzzas, however it all came out together which was disappointing and much of the platter wasnt eaten as we didnt want the pizzas to go cold.
Food was great value but we all thought the drinks were very over priced.
Service was great as was the atmosphere but we had a table near the live music and we found it difficult for conversation.
Amazing food and atmosphere!
Great little hangout with friends and familys
Thanks Alicia, great to hear :)
