In less than a year at Delahunt, the team was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand 2016, and again for 2017/2018/2019. Our passion is to produce every element of our dishes in house ranging from our Guinness bread to our signature home smoked salmon. Our menu has focus, offering four starters, four mains, and four desserts. This allows team to produce high-quality food, fresh on site. We also use only seasonal, local spirits in the bar, featuring a local producer for vodka, gin, and whiskey.
Fabulous evening! Lovely food beautifully presented. Good service
Food and service was excellent. Joycean connection was cool
We had a lovely evening with good food friendly service and great ambiance. The portion sizes were very small and despite having side dishes we were still a little hungry after our 3 course meal. A side of potatoes would have been lovely for hungry diners. Overall a most enjoyable evening.
Really great food with the best service I have gotten in a dublin restaurant in a long time. Good atmosphere too, I’ll be back soon.
Super service, reasonably priced menu with lots of choice and lovely atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and personable and we went up to the gorgeous sitting room bar for a drink after dinner. Fab fun night. Delicious food.
Enjoyed this restaurant so much . The food was outstanding! I definitely will be back
Great food and a great ambience, eating at the high top counter is a good option for a couple eating out, it didn't feel like you were in the way or crushed in which can sometimes be the case.
What a classy, peaceful, creative meal with wonderful service. Highly recommend
Dinner for our last night of vacation and Delahunt did not disappoint. We did the 3 course option. The appetisers were amazing perfectly cooked octopus. Main dish I had the market fish, again perfectly cooked with great sauce and sides. My so. Had the beef, slightly undercooked for his taste but it had great flavour. Wine suggestion was spot on and the deserts topped off a fabulous meal.
We ate here following a recommendation from an Irish friend and were not disappointed. The ambience was good, the place was buzzing! The little cocktail bar upstairs for a pre meal drink was really different too. The food was excellent quality and served quickly but without rushing us to eat. Restaurant staff were efficient with a sense of humour. All in all it was a lovely place to eat and spend an evening.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The menu is very limited but the food was excellent. There were four in our group, and all were impressed with their choices. After our meal, we were lucky to take a table upstairs in the sitting room, which was really relaxing. Toilet facilities were clean, but the arrangement was not good though.
Everything was perfect. Flawless, effortless service which looked to be carried out at ease. Food and wine were phenomenal.
Great atmosphere, the food was unique and very flavorful. Service was friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed it and would definitely recommend!
As always a tremendous experience
Pressure to give up the table. Wasn’t told this when booking or when we arrived. Disappointed with service overall, felt rushed.
Food very nice. Would like 2-3 more choices.
My favourite restaurant in Dublin!
Great food, great staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The seasonal menu means you are always in for a treat. The restaurant is perfectly complimented by the magnificent Living Room cocktail upstairs - run by Martin, one of the best in the business - and perfect for a digestif!
I really enjoyed Dealhunt, the staff were exceptional, helpful without being intrusive, attentive without being bothersome. The food was a wonderful symphony of flavours and the attention to detail was evident on every plateful presented to us. I would have no hesitation in visiting Delahunt again and look forward to my next visit. Nothing was too much trouble and the experience was flawless from start to finish.
excellent food and lovely atmosphere - every detail is excellent and enjoyed the wildflowers on the tables, really enjoyed it and definitely one to come back to!! My only critique is to modify the solitary table at the front window, it has a less pleasant view behind the counter. We asked to move to another table and luckily it was not a problem, thank you again!
Best meal I have had in a long time. Food was packed with flavour and we had a beautiful window seat. I will certainly be back soon.
Exceptional place. Can’t rate the food highly enough. The staff were so friendly and the ambience buzzing.
Was great experience great tasting food.
Top staff recommendations....
This is definitely one of the top restaurants in Dublin. It is a limited menu which may not suit all but the food is presented gorgeously.....you eat with your eyes....and tastes fantastic. All 3 of us loved each course that we had and we will definitely return.
Never fails to succeed in quality and service. The place is so comfortable and well thought out also.
A little pricy compared to other Dublin restaurants, but food, service and ambiance were wonderful.
Lovely! California take on Irish cuisine. Fresh, seasonal, thoughtful.
We went mad and ordered an expensive bottle of wine for the occasion, which was delicious. Starters and mains were out-standing from the short but balanced menu - but the desserts were very disappointing. The base of the tart was burnt and we should have sent it back to the kitchen so the disappointment was partly our fault. The Pannacotta lacked any wobble!
The room is great and the service is both efficient and just attentive enough. Free sparkling and still water! prices are good.
Lovely fresh local Irish food, imaginatively presented.
Adore everything about Delahunt. The window seat is romance epitomised!
Amazing food, service and ambience, will most definitely be back
Amazing meal very high quality would recommend.
Would not recommend to a friend as Menu is quite limited and the restaurant is very noisy. Waiters let cutlery fall to the floor at their station and the noise it made would lift you out of your seat. We liked it ourselves and food was lovely.. and we had a lovely evening that didn’t break the bank.
Waiting staff very well trained and efficient.
Unfortunately we arrived on refuse collection evening, so stepped out of a taxi to bin bags on the footpath... I know is can’t be avoided but still it is unsightly...
Très beau restaurant, ambiance chaleureuse. Cuisine simple mais de grande qualité, prix très raisonnables.
It was a wonderful dining experience. My only fault was that our cocktails arrived with our entree leaving no time to order a bottle of wine. It would have been nice to enjoy the cocktail at the start before the food arrived.
The homemade black pudding- fantastic - tasty crumbly - one of the best starters in Dublin. Great value- buzzing
On the positive the service is excellent, staff are very pleasant. Very limited menu, crowded dining room. Two of our group enjoyed the fish main but otherwise the food was average, we all finished but I would not return to this restaurant when there is much better restaurants all around Dublin.,
we had a delicious food
and lovely table in the window will be back again soon
Super fresh food, great service and lovely ambience. Already booked to return!
It was fine... but I expected more. Underwhelming, I don’t feel the need to go back.
An excellent meal and all round experience, including the attentive but low key friendly service.
We really enjoyed our evening at Delahunt, the staff were friendly, the food was very good and the decor was great. I was particularly impressed with the precise coffee making, weighing the grinds, goes to show the quality of service and dedication to the product they are delivering.
