    Food orders were taken quickly and efficiently. Food was served to our group of 12 quickly after ordering. No rush to be moved out of our reserved table after we had eaten either. Will definitely consider coming back for other office lunch events.

    Zero attention to customers who book. Again placed in a corridor to eat. Food order left on pass due to staff ordering mix up and re served as fresh some considerable time later. Could not recommend .

    Fantastic venue to catch up with friends. Great food and drinks selection. Staff are excellent! We had a big group and the supervisor set us up in the quieter/separate dining area all by ourselves. We had an amazing time! We will be back.

    Weird place. Service was average, in that the servers didn't seem to know what they were doing, very unreactive when serving people at the bar or cleaning tables. The live music was way too loud for such a small room, we needed to ask to be moved to a quieter area to get away from the wailing of the performer. Food was average, drink selection poor. No signage for toilets, which ended up in the area next door. It was like the owner couldn't decide if they wanted a real pub atmosphere or a snobby bar atmosphere and tried to do both at the same time. Fine if you don't want to talk and get hammered, lousy if you want to sit and chat with friends/family.

    I like this old beautiful hotel, and the decor is fresh and modern, but the food was just ok, and the noise level was too high for us as we could hardly hear the person seated next to us. We ended up moving tables to outside (thankfully it was a lovely mild spring evening) so we could enjoy the food and conversation. We enjoy some live or other background music, but that was extremely loud, even for a pub! The service was pretty good though and they cater well for food intolerances, which is always appreciated.

    The T Bone was well done compare to medium rare. A few leaf here and there. Chip was not crispy at all Lobster linguini had no taste, blend. Very disappointed

    The experience was great. We all enjoyed our steak sandwiches. A very very minor thing: We ordered a side of chips because the menu didn't describe the item as coming with chips. Maybe the person taking the order could have mentioned that. The staff were incredibly nice and we were served very quickly and got heaps of warning when the kitchen was about to close. The venue was really friendly and pretty classy. I will go back again!

    The worst service! Had a booking and our table was given away when we weren’t even late. The host was not apologetic and was basically laughing in our face. We were forced to find another restaurant to dine at on a busy Friday night before a concert. Very very disappointed and will never return due to the attitude we were given.

    Used the site Open table to make a booking for dinner at 8pm as the restaurant was open till 9.30pm. Only to get told once I arrived that the kitchen has closed and we were not allowed to sit. Shower the manager the confirmation code and email I received and she told us to go across the road.

    Probably not the best place to sit in the corridor to have a meal. Food was good although one guest had a bit pink in their chicken and I didn’t receive my burger with everyone else it was completely forgot about.

    Food was served hot, within 20 mins of ordering, large servings, fresh and flavourful. Value for money, prices are very reasonable. Staff were pleasant and attentive. All this whilst having a full house due to a concert at the RAC arena

    Overall very good just disappointed that we ordered starters & main courses & they all arrived together, we were not expecting that, also asked if the lobster came in its shell, waitress said no but it did which was off putting for one of our group but food was very tasty

    Extremely busy night v long queues at the bar clearly not prepared - not bar crews fault Food average - my husband’s steak was good; aranchini ball’s average; chicken wings inedible (tasteless; watery) kfc chicken is better! Service - all extremely polite and helpful

    Not enough staff rostered when an event was on at the RAC Arena. Food was cold, 2 meals substituted and not advised, 1 which was not edible. Thank goodness you had a good manager on duty who quickly rectified what she could.

    The tables were sticky. We were with a group of 10 people and had to order at the bar. It would have been easier if they just came to take the order as we were paying with a corporate credit card for all.

    The whole experience was very good. The only complaint is that I could taste fish on my chips. I would say that the chips were cooked in the same oil as fish?

    Let's start with the extremely rude bar/restaurant managers. I have never felt so unwelcome or uncomfortable in a venue as these two made us feel. We were not important to them, even though our company was handing a considerable amount of money over. Obviously their staff lead by example as it showed through lack of service and uniformed of the "products" they were selling. This place was not busy at all or nowhere near capacity yet when we tried to order simple cocktails were told it couldn't happen. Then two other types of drinks were apparently unavailable. Which bar doesn't stock Bundy! Food was presented poorly, not tasty and if your chef thinks those balls of mush are Arancini, they need to go back and learn to cook. Didn't want to vent online but when I approached the managers to give some feedback was rudely brushed off and told "don't have time to listen to you". Needless to say what was going to be a relaxing enjoyable afternoon/evening at this place ended within a couple of hours. Our group made the decision to move to another venue that is always accommodating in all that this venue lacked. Shoe Bar you rock, thanks for making our day fantastic!

    Nice upmarket pub at the west end of the CBD - attached to the Melbourne Hotel - good pub grub and nice set of taps! - good food specials too

    Sadly was really looking forward to experiencing a 5 star venue however no table service and our food came out very sporadically. The chips and sweet potatoes came first then the boys meals of barramundi and fish and the ladies two taco orders didn’t come to the table for 40 mins later. We did not eat together. very disappointing

    We had to wait for a long time for food - and then all the things we ordered, came out 10 minutes apart - was very odd. They were very busy, but it would have been nice to have been told when we ordered that there was going to be a delay. We had a show to get to, and booked with plenty of time up our sleeves - in the end we had to shovel the food in, and leave some of it uneaten in order to get to our show. The table next to us waited even longer!

    I made a booking but when we arrived they gave our table to someone else so they had to make up a table. One of our guests didn’t receive her order before the rest of our table had finished their orders so we had to cancel her order and she returned to the office without lunch
