    The BBQ Tiger prawns were excellent, the Pork belly was good but nothing spectacular. For the mains we had Wagyu beef and the duck, were good but once again nothing sensational. The beef was actually a bit tough. Desserts were interesting, unusual and good. The main problem we had about this restaurant when both my husband and I started to feel sick during the night. For the price and by the reputation, we were expecting better and certainly not having to take Imodium!

    Such lovely service by Rachael. She made our whole night! Beautiful atmosphere and surroundings. The dinner was interesting and delicious but really lacked a warm winter dessert. This restaurant would be perfect for day dining as there would be a lovely view!

    A wonderful choice for an anniversary dinner. Carefully envisioned and executed menu - a very talented team there in the kitchen. Well-trained and friendly wait staff, beautiful dining space. Pretty much a flawless experience.

    I was here last night as well, so felt very lucky to be given a different menu. The new menu is absolutely delicious and I enjoyed all three courses - venison, duck and mushroom icecream. Would recommend to anyone.

    Exceptional restaurant. We have been to quite a few high end restaurants over the last few weeks but this one stands out. The team here have nailed the service, the food and the ambience. You can have a conversation without struggling to hear each other. The waiters don’t hover and ask you unnecessary questions. The tables are spaced perfectly apart. It was wonderful and the quality of the food exceptional. Would thoroughly recommend.

    First time at Darley’s and it won’t be our last. We were seated in the smaller front room with only 3 two seat tables, the open fireplace was a raging, it added that extra touch of class. Beautiful food with great service, both top shelf.

    The Mother’s Day, set menu at Darley’s Restaurant was magnificent. The selection of foods was of the highest quality and cooked to perfection. The king prawn dish was absolutely delicious and the highlight of the menu. It was worth every cent.

    Bit disappointing as limited wine choice ( only 1 glass included). I diner was not drinking alcohol and had to pay for sparkling water! At the price not having coffee included was not acceptable. Food was ok but lacking somewhat in flavour. Christmas a few years ago was amazing but I don't think standard is the same.

    Lovely place, staff very welcome and professional. Food was good but could vbe better. The amuse gueule was not a very good start. The pork belly was the best dish, the duck dish was also good but the sauce Wasa bit too sweet to my liking. The pear dessert was very poor, no state and very boring.

    The restaurant is in a beautiful building, and the atmosphere was really nice. But our main course took ages (we had to ask in the end as people who arrived and ordered after us were getting theirs) and the food was a little disappointing. The three course deal did not include sides, and so we paid $15 for a reheated jacket potato. Our server was great and very apologetic, but overall we were disappointed.

    I had high expectations going to a hatted restaurant which is why we chose it to celebrate a special occasion. Our arrival was slightly fraught trying to get our elderly mother up the stairs without a railing. We entered the foyer and waited and waited. We were finally shown to our table and left to our own devices. Twenty minutes later after seriously considering finding a tap to quench our thirst a waitress appeared apologising for the slow service and offered us some water on the house. We’d had plenty of time to peruse the menu so ordered straight away fearing if we didn’t we would never eat. We pinched a wine menu from another table and managed to order something nice to go with our meal. The menu offered two choices for each course. The food was tasty. The beef tenderloin cooked perfectly. Our waitress made the night, she was run off her feet and carried the rest of her team. Overall it was a lovely night we will chuckle about fondly, but maybe for not all the right reasons.
