Great food, great service, great view of Lake Wash and Mt Rainier.
Service was not fast, ribeye cut was too grisly for the price. But it was cooked well.

Great time son and I shared a great experience together. We enjoyed our meal, Oysters Rockefeller, Spinach Salad, Brussels Sprouts were great, drinks refreshing.

The service was great, as expected. The food was as expected also, very good. Exceptions being the brussel sprouts were not at all tasty and my baked potato was overcooked. Too mushy.
I was disappointed in the beer selection. I love good beers and they have a terrible selection.
I won't be going back simply because of the service fee. I don't agree with the concept. I would have tipped well because it was earned. But for a company making a killing on drinks and food to take that tip money (and its taxed) and claim it's for this and that for employees is a complete pile of crap.

Father's Day brunch, the good: comfortable booth, nice view, seated quickly, served quickly. We ordered the pancake breakfast, french toast, avocado toast. Everything was excellent, except the avocodo toast, which we had to send back. Instead of the normal prep for this dish which would include slices or chunks of fresh avocado, this was a thin smear of avocado spread sprinkled with a few bits of chopped tomato. It was really bad. If you are craving avocado toast order it somewhere else, many local spots make it well (e.g. Floret..).
Started with complimentary blueberry coffee cake which was moist, flavorful. Coffee was very good, strong and fresh. Entrees came with real maple syrup. Side order of berries was skimpy, maybe 1/3 of a cup? Will return for the location, right on the water, comfortable ambiance and pleasant service.

My husband and I had a really good time there. His Copper River salmon was cooked perfectly and my filet mignon was juicy and tender. We would definitely go back there again.

One of our top three seattle restaurants. We plan to return. While Daniels is known for meat, we tend to order seafood, which we find to be excellent. The true test of a well managed business is how management responds to service and/or product issues. In this respect Daniels Leschi excels. We had some service issues created by a demanding group of 12. The wait staff and manager were on it to our complete satisfaction.

Overall, quite disappointed. We visit Daniel's several times a year and this last visit was not very good. The service was not up to par. Once we were seated we had to wait for quite some time before our server came to our table. Once we received our food it was not what we ordered, however it was corrected. Having to pay a 20% gratuity for this visit was not satisfactory with us. We did enjoy the food, but we were happy with the service.

The staff was super friendly and the head chef visited our table to wish my husband a happy birthday and affirm that all our needs were exceedingly met! The food was mouth watering and the service outstanding! I would highly recommend Daniel’s Broiler at Leshi!

For the price I would have expected better service, specially for a bday lunch.
Dinner for 2 was over $175 (including mandatory 20% added tip). Good steak, really, really bad service. Asked if Diet Coke came in a glass, waitress said yes, then brought me a 12 oz. can ($4) along with a glass of ice. We sat for a long time before the waitress came over, a long time to get bread to the table and a very long time to get our food. They were NOT busy.
We are regular visitors to Daniel's when in Seattle, at least 2x a year, but I'm afraid we are done coming here. The pricing, server attitude and service are not worth the high end prices they charge.

Beautiful location with a great view of Lake Washington and Bellevue skyline. The food was amazing. It is expensive but worth it for special occasions. We went for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and the staff really made it special.

Horrible service, disappointing because we have been to Daniel’s/Leschi many times and always enjoyed it. We have heard it has gone badly downhill, but without hyperbole, it was worse than we could have imagined. Marsha was a delightful hostess, and helped us to find an outside table. However, twenty minutes later, our drink order was taken. Almost 30 more minutes later our drinks showed up, one with “things” floating in it, but I was told they were out of what I wanted. Another 10 minutes and my “any merlot” showed up. By the time our food was served it had been 90 minuted from when we sat down. Wait staff maybe not surly, but close. And there was almost no other diners there. Plenty of other restaurants nearby, don’t need the aggravation... and other reviews will, I am sure, corroborate our experience.
Reserved a table by the window for my 20th anniversary and was put at a very small table (not really big enough for two) in the main aisle way. For the price and what Daniel’s state they are, the service level is not matching. Same level of service as Applebee’s, not bad just not what should be for a restaurant like this. Tried something new, next year we will go back to Morton’s like we do every year.

Experience not worth the high priced meal. Automatic service charge makes it so the staff does not strive to serve and it shows :(

Daniel's includes a 20% service charge. Including on wine! If you order a $200 bottle of wine that's $40 just for them to open it. If you order a $50 bottle of wine, it's $10 for them to open it. It requires the same amount of effort and service on their part. We told our server and the manager we didn't want this charge. We were told it was out of their control and to discuss it with the upper management. We tried that in the past and they did not respond. It seems Daniel's isn't interested in being flexible.

I really love Daniel's steaks and would have loved to be able to rate the Leschi location high. I've ordered many times the filet mignon delivered to my home from their SLU location but until recently, have never actually been to any of their locations. The steak was always phenomenal - delicious and cooked to perfection.
Leschi is a different story. Took my wife for her birthday then again for my birthday. First time our food took too long - staff was somewhat disoriented, and some folks arriving after us had their steak delivered first. We liked it overall so decided to go back for my birthday. Our second visit was on a Monday so the food arrived on time. I thought it was very strange when I was asked whether I wanted to cut my steak in half to make sure it was cooked as i had ordered it (medium well) but having had steaks from Daniels before I was sure it was perfectly cooked. I was wrong - the 80 dollar "exceptionally lean and tender" Piedmontese filet mignon was overcooked and was very chewy. I had high expectations of their steaks so that was disappointing.
I will probably go there again because my wife likes the chicken and they have a pretty nice view - but I don't have the same high expectations as before.

I brough my husband here for his birthday dinner because he loves a good steak. He had a great steak, he said it was the best steak he's ever had!! Everything was yummy. My only complaint would be that it was very loud and the nearby table of men were a bit vulgar.

We waited for over 30 minutes for our entrees. There were two other parties in the entire resturant. The servers were not attentive to our beverages nor was there any explanation or apology for our wait. I am fine with a 20% gratuity but I would expect much better service.

I think this might be a better restaurant for dinner as opposed to brunch. The brunch was good, but I expected more from Daniels. The food was good, but nothing spectacular, especially for the price.

The staff was great. They were so accommodating when we got cold on the patio and moved us inside. It was extremely noisy inside and hard to hear. The food was ok, I feel like it was better at the Daniels in Bellevue. I had asked for my steak to be medium rare and didn’t notice until I got home that my steak was extremely rare. It was also my dads birthday and they gave him a special dessert (at Bellevue they brought it to use without asking, whereas here the waitress was rather reluctant to offer it to us). When it came out to us it was so burnt my dad could only eat a few small bites of it, the rest was as hard as a rock. I will be going back to Daniels but at Bellevue. I’m not sure about Leschi.
This is the first time that we have gone to Daniel's and the wait staff was pretty much non existent, it took about an hour to gt our food, even if they were busy it should not have taken that long as we have been there before when they were extremely busy and they kept us appraised of the situation - this time no one told us anything. The steak came with a sauce which we did not order and the waitress did not mention that to us when we ordered. It was our anniversary, which was acknowledged at the front desk but not really any place else and usually they give you a little something for a special occasion and this time nothing. If this was my first time going to Daniel's I would not recommend or go back it was so disappointing.

Meal was amazing. The view of the lake was very enjoyable, even when dining inside.
My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner. The food and service were great and it was a beautiful evening to dine outside.
Check-in at the host stand was discombobulated and somewhat frantic
Boosted chairs are patched with duct tape
Once past the check-in process, dinner service (food, drinks, service, ambiance, view) was very enjoyable
Excellent brunch, with a nice array of choices, and beautiful view of Lake Washington.
Bowls, chicken fried beef, and hash--among other things--were wonderful. We would go back.
I’ve been to Daniel’s many, many times; and always had a wonderful experience. This time, things were different. My coffee cup was dirty (lip stick), my husband’s order was incorrect, and the French toast was not dredged and cooked nearly enough—Very dry. Also, I don’t appreciate having a mandatory 20% tip added to the bill; specifically when he experience didn’t meet expectations.
Unless you get a gift card to dine here, you should pass. The food is overly priced and uninspired. My King Salmon was somewhat tough and required salt, even though it was cooked medium rare. It couldn't have been fresh. I've had better salmon inside of fish tacos for a 1/10 of the cost.
Servers are slow and lackluster in attentiveness. While the dining room was somewhat full, we waited close to 10 minutes for any sort of acknowledgement, including water and to have our drinks taken. From there we watched our cocktails sit at the bar for another 5 minutes before the server added the garnish and brought them to us. The cocktail menu is interesting but they were out of ingredients to make the one I ordered, my P.C. Old Fashioned was the backup and was decent.
We spent over $300 on two appetizers, two entrees, and two cocktails. You could spend half this and get an amazing meal at a number of Seattle restaurants or pay a similar price and get a much better steak meal with fantastic service elsewhere.
The views are to die for, so if you're wanting a gorgeous spot and don't care about any of the aforementioned or are just coming for wine/beer/dessert then you can't go wrong.
