    We booked a quiet area and were shown a back room whete yhere was just the one table for 4. A lovely open fire, easy chairs and our table meant a quiet place even though 2 lots of coffee drinkers sat on the chairs! Lovely cheery staff and tasty food made for an enjoyable meal. Wpuld recommend this place for a coffee, afternoon tea or meals!

    We eat here quite regularly considering we travel from Kingston to do so. The food is wonderful with dishes to please everybody. The staff are efficient and friendly and the coffee is perfect (one of the best we have experienced). Well done and keep it up and we shall keep coming back.

    We were entertaining some visitors from the mainland, it was the perfect spot for lunch. Relaxing, friendly and good choices on the menu. Staff were excellent.

    Our booking was for outside which was good because it was a hot day. The food, presentation & quality was excellent. Helpful happy staff too. We enjoyed our experience at the venue which is full of character and good food!

    We had a lovely outdoor table for 5 of us in the dappled shade. Service was prompt and friendly. Good choice of food, even for gluten-free vegans and vegetarians. Recommend.

    Seated at a reserved table at 1:00 PM. Food was served at 2:15 PM. Not good enough. Menu was out of date. " We don't serve that any more." Not good enough.
