Cutler & Co
Absolutely outstanding meal, service and atmosphere. Highly recommend!!
I was seated in the back part of the restaurant and it was at least 15 or 20:minutes before my waiters even looked in my direction. Inwas dining alone and have done this many times in restaurants all over the world, and I felt he was giving more attention to the couples than to me. This is not a feeling Iv’e experienced when dining in top restaurants before.
Food was nice, would be nice if there is a combo for 3 or 4 people to share other thn the rib eye.
We got seated in an area w poor lighting, the inner restaurant has much better ambience and setting.
Other thn that everything was excellent, staff friendly etc.
My wife and I had the best time for our anniversary dinner. Everything was perfect!
Fabulous food and service.
Atmosphere and service is reasonably good, what you would expect of a restaurant with two hats. Being Valentine's day, a 6 course set menu of $170 is mandatory for all diners, which is understandable. However, the quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired. Portions are OK but could be more generous, if not add on the number of courses. Besides one of the courses is actually a tablespoon of sorbet as palate cleanser. One of the dishes was a tomato salad, which basically consists of chopped tomatoes and some dressing, something that most can prepare at home. The dessert was also disappointing too. Given the price paid, I wonder whether I was in my local bistro or a two hatted restaurant.
Delicious food, great setting, helpful staff. The reviews of this restaurant were not overrated.
Great food and ambiance. Service spectacular. Very pricey but that is what you get for this type of service and freshness. Would highly recommend
I had a fantastic time at Cutler & Co. It had been on my list of restaurant to try for years. 5 of us celebrated my birthday and we bought the signature chocolate cake which was amazing. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly. All of the food was of the standard you would expect, and there were appetizers and palate cleansers between courses which were thoughtful and delicious. The wine list was well rounded and we had wonderful cocktails and even a daigingo sake. Looking forward to the next visit!
Wonderful dining experience, delicious and beautiful food, great service in an ambient atmosphere.
Will definitely be going back. Really enjoyed the ambiance and the food was excellent. The wine, although a tad expensive, was exceptional. Also I need to add the service was exceptional. Had a drink in the bar next door beforehand and really enjoyed there as well. I think they may be linked.
Everything was 10/10 - best food, service, ambiance, wine list and decor. Loved it and couldn’t fault a single thing!
Foodwas outstanding and service was even better. Anthony and Antoine who served us went beyond what is expected for service with recommendations for our future sightseeing. One of the better meals we have had. Price was high but reasonable for this level of eating.
Beautiful service; professional service; warm atmosphere - just a shame the amount of food you get doesn’t equate to the $$
A fabulous night, intimate surroundings and lovely food. Perfect for our wedding anniversary.
Do yourself a favour and visit Cutler & Co. Both the food and service are outstanding. The aged beef was perfect and the service friendly and informative. There is also an extensive list of reasonably priced wine available.
Amazing food and fantastic service
Outstanding. Our third visit to C&C because it never disappoints. Seven course degustation delightful...left feeling comfortably full
Ambience and staff lovely. Service was good but at times the attention bordered on intrusive. We had the 7 course degustation - the food was uniformly good but nothing blew me away, which for the price we paid I was expecting. A solid experience but am unlikely to revisit.
Food was generally ok, I wasn’t thrilled with any of the things that I have eaten really. Ambience is alright with candles and all, modern outlook. Service and attentiveness was no issue. Price performance is not great.
Cutler & Co is worth every cent. The food is delicious, service impeccable and don't even get me started on the cheese trolley! Absolutely will come back again!
In incredible dining experience.
Staff somewhat uptight, lots of noise from the party on the back dining room. We had an early booking and felt that we were being hurried along so the table could be used again. I thought dining at Cutler & co should be an experience the should take time and be enjoyed.
Eating at a restaurant is not just about the food , it’s moment you are greeted at reception, how you are escorted to your table, the first five minutes after you sat down at your table . Cutler and Co passed with flying colours . The service was professional and attentive. The dish that exceeded was the Tuna Tartar . Just extraordinary in taste and flavour.
Great food. Great service. Wines a tad expensive but good choice.
The duck was undercooked in the thickest portions.
Even when you go out regularly there are only a few meals that really standout - this was one of those.
We've visited Cutler & Co on and off for many years now and the experience has never been anything other than immaculate. Excellent table staff & front of house, lovely food, great ambience. An expensive night out for us, but as a special occasion, never disappointing.
One small thing - slightly thumpy music from the bar. This has never been the case for any other visit, I hope it's not going to be a trend. We lie the quiet sit&talk, and the vibe is never dull. Music is completely unnecessary.
Absolutely magic. Great service from the moment we entered the front door. Food was presented beautifully and the flavours and textures were divine. Unbelievably thorough wine list and the mocktail selection was the longest I've seen. Incredible restaurant with a relatively low price tag.
It was our first time there and it simply was such a fantastic experience!! We tried to find something we didn’t like about the place - but couldn’t. From the moment we walked into cutler and co we quickly realised we had found a great place! Thank you to all the staff there it as a wonderful night !
The restaurant fit out is lovely, all of the staff were knowledgeable and helpful, The sommelier was fantastic and helped us with some great drink selections :) The food was amazing!! One of the best chefs selections menus ive tried :)
Prior to your book you are going to receive an email confirmation from them. It's very important to get acknowledge to ensure I'm booked in. Once you enter you will be greeted with friendly staff. I received smile as I was walking pass the kitchen and bar towards my table. It was a table for 2 with candle light, how romantic! They have a very comprehensive wine list and sommelier to assist you if you want. We weren't approached by a sommelier, maybe because we have already order drink before the sommelier had a chance to attend to us. They have a very simple a la cart menu. You can either choose to let the restaurant pick the food for you with a sample of 3 entree, couple of main, dessert and matching wine option. Or you can pick from the a la cart menu. Overall, I had a great experience with my companion in Cutler & Co. Would recommended for any couple wanting to spend quality time in a fine dinning environment. The session I book in had a 2.5hr limit, so plan well to suit your requirement. Lastly, there is a 1.1kg ribeye on the menu, but it takes 1hr to prepare, so when you make a booking, ask them whether there is any food which require such a waiting time. Enjoy!
Great service, Bob was really considerate and attentive. Strongly recommend
Everything was lovely, however I wouldn't recommend going for the rib eye shared meal at $60 extra for 2 on the Sunday menu. All the side dishes to that were nice, but the rib eye was quite tough. I think some of the other main meals would have been delicious based on the other food we had.
Staff were great very attentive without being annoying.
Best dinner bread I have had and baked on site.
We had The T-Bone for two and it was awesome.
Sweets were good but with only 2 selections it wasn’t what I would have normally order.
Really enjoyed the dining experience but certainly not cheap.
But you get what you pay for.
Visiting Melbourne from the US and was searching for an upscale fine dining experience - found it at Cutler and Co. Food was excellent, staff was super attentive, ambiance was very nice... the only gripe was that some of the meal was slow to arrive and we found ourselves waiting. I’d say you should expect around a 2-hour/2.5hour meal minimum (we could only book a 9pm sitting and didn’t finish until right at midnight). But overall, food was well worth the wait. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience for four, the Saturday night chefs selection plus some extras.
Somelier was brilliant also.
Duck was an absolute hit all-round.
Only slight miss for us was the tuna sashimi style, which could have used a soy/vinaigrette accompaniment in our view.
But overall, loved every bit of it and top class service, great wine, creative an delicious plates.
Everything about this was perfect. The room was beautiful, the food was spectacular and most importantly the staff were helpful and explained every dish, decision and drink perfectly, so we could fully appreciate everything we are and drank. So happy.
The three starters and appetisers i had were not bad but nothing special. The sauce used in the salad was a bit oily. The wagyu bresaola did not have a very different flavour compare to other italian ham. Rating: 2/5 ( as a two hat restaurant)
The have tried the sopressini and duck leg for the main dish. The sopressini had a very good texture taste the sauce was well. But the duck leg were too dry and overcook. (2.5/5)
The dessert was really good and had a nice appearance. (4/5)
In total, all the food was not bad but a bit overrated as a two hat restaurant.
10/10 could not fault!!
